I was advised at that time that I had to come in person to cancel future services they automatically renew monthly. I went in person prior to the end of my three month commitment and canceled services. I was advised at that time, the last automatic payment would be October, 2025. I discovered today that the stretch lab in Lee'sSummit, Missouri had continued to charge my credit card $296.10 per month. When I called Customer Service, they were not helpful in anyway with resolving this matter. I was just advised that the stretch lab in Lee's Summit, Missouri had not submitted my cancellation so I owed them money and they also charged a late fee stating they were unable to charge my card on file for March, 2026. I went in person today to speak with someone about this, a female staff member stated she was unable to find my cancellation of services. She further advised me that I had 26 stretch lab credits that had been forfeited. I had to sign another cancellation of services, and was charged the full month of April, 2026, because I had to give a 31day notice of cancellation. I certainly would never refer anybody to the stretch lab as I was charged six months worth of services that I never received. The amount of money I was charged, $296.10 per month x six months is ridiculous and a substantial amount of money I lost due to negligence on their part for not canceling my request to stop services in October, 2025. I do not recommend the lab to anyone as I was charged $1776.60 for services I never received. This is so absurd and ridiculous. Shaking my head!

Kathryn is the assistant manager at this location and explained all options to me (without a hard "sell") as well as gave me the introductory free stretch. Kathryn (and other stretch specialists at this location I am told have a degree and background in body movement/pe/kinesiology which is helpful in knowing providing quality stretching (no pain). I have found the types of stretches helpful with stiffness in my body. Everyone I have met have been professional and welcoming making my experience relaxing and enjoyable.

Found a Groupon for hot yoga - read about the benefits and decided let's do this!!! I tried a few of the classes on the unlimited month. The sumits 60 was not the first class I should of been trying - wish I could eventually build up to that level though. The restore and relax classes are nice when you just want to relax and stretch and enjoy the heat. My favorite class is with Joni on Wednesday mornings - the slow and flow class. It's just slow enough to keep up for me but not too fast and I love her enthusiasm and loooove the hot yoga aspect. Try it out.

Their sumit flows are great and so are their late night stretching classes. The teachers are lovely and do a great job of making the classes challenging and also relaxing. I hadn't been to an Iyengar yoga class for 25 years and was pleasantly surprised to see it offered in the classes. The monthly sound bath class is quite a treat and the yin class is a must-do. This is such a wonderful studio and all seem welcome.
