However, instead of being notified that my rate could not be honored, my membership of 11 years was canceled without my knowledge. I was out of town for work trying to access an anytime fitness in another state, standing outside like an idiot because my key fob wouldn't work. I had to reach out myself to figure out why, and that's when I was told that my membership was canceled but 'my loyalty to ATF was appreciated'. I was pretty bummed to essentially be turned away from ATF after 11 years. And of course given that each location is individually owned, no owner has showed any sympathy for my situation. So bummed because I love ATF and have for 11 YEARS.

I went to visit the club today and the young girl at the front desk was extremely pleasant and sweet. She gave me a price sheet, which is attached to this review. She let me tour the club and while it's not very big, it was also not very busy. I had been a member years ago and a few things have changed. After speaking with my girlfriend, I agreed that we would pre-pay an entire year because of the specials and the prices in the attached flyer. When I went to sign up, unfortunately, I was told the price would be $330 higher plus there would be an annual fee and an enrollment fee. If I'd not been shown one price and then given another, I would have felt informed, but in this case I felt differently. I do not believe the nice young lady at the front desk meant any harm or did anything wrong. But apparently staff communication might be an issue. So if you choose this club, make sure you understand exactly which pricing plan you're on. $189 per couple per month plus the additional fees can add up quickly. Convenience is great, but there are other options.

I was pleasantly surprised when Bailee streamlined the process without any pressure. She also offered me free trials of membership benefits like the red light therapy and the brand new cold plunge! Bailee was so friendly and helpful in assisting me in deciding on how to proceed with my membership choices in a non committal way like I wanted. A gentleman named Jake gave us a tour and was very respectful of the limited amount of time I had to spend on the tour. He also explained all about the included classes and ammeneties available at each location! A great part about Mountainside fitness is that they allow 12-year-olds to join so that means my daughter can come with me! I could not find another gym in the area that allows children under 13 to attend so I was really pleased at this privilege. I also liked that all the memberships allow you to go to any location.! I'm really grateful that Bailee was there to help, being that she was so knowledgeable on the membership options and perks! P.s. I love the cold plunge!

I had a very disappointing experience at Mountain Side Fitness. I arrived for a class I had booked,…read moreonly to find that someone else had taken my spot. I went to the front desk expecting the staff to help resolve the situation, but instead I was told that I needed to stand by the door of each class and check whether there was an available spot because the front desk could not do anything. That is not a reasonable solution for someone who has already booked a class. The gym should have a clear process for situations where someone takes another member's reserved spot. Customers should not be expected to argue or compete for a place in a class they already reserved. When I asked for another solution, I was not offered any meaningful help. The whole experience felt frustrating and unprofessional. We come to the gym to work out and have a positive experience--not to fight over spots. Mountain Side Fitness needs to improve its customer service, have a proper system for handling reserved spots, and consider offering enough classes to meet demand. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

Over the next 6+ months she worked with us multiple times a week to help my daughter released her tightness of her neck which then allowed us to successfully breastfeed for the next year.
