They also have staffed hours if you need to bring a guest, make purchases, or need to speak to someone in person. Location and convenience are perks, but it's not the sole reason why I love this fitness studio. Let me begin by saying that the staff is friendly, so helpful, and amazing. They also do a great job at keeping everything clean. What has me hooked are the infrared sauna workouts and the workout space in the back. I have autoimmune issues and the 40-minute ISO workouts in 125F degree temp works wonders for me. It helps reduce inflammation and get a better sweat than I do at the gym. The heat helps deepen my stretches and reduces any tendon or joint pain I have. It also helps me relax and clear my head, which improves my sleep. Lastly, the workout space in the back has a full line of dumbells and equipment that's perfect for toning and building muscle. I don't take advantage of their Infrared Heated HIIT workouts because it's not recommended with autoimmune disease as it can trigger symptoms and fatigue. However, I see a lot of people benefitting from those HIIT classes combined with ISO classes. Full disclosure, I have a gym membership where I do cardio and most of my weight training about 4x a week. I go to HOTWORX 3x a week or more if I have the time. My initial reason for joining was for the infrared sauna benefits and for yoga/stretching. I'm happy to say that it has become more. I still enjoy Horworx's Hot yoga and Hot Stretch classes, but I've also started taking other Hot Iso classes and have been weight training in the back. Every now and then I do my physical therapy exercises and stretches in the saunas instead of a Hotworx class, which has been a game changer with my physical therapy and recovery. Whether you are looking for one place to workout at or if you're like me and looking for a 2nd fitness studio to supplement or to change up your fitness routine, I highly recommend the Hotworx Westchase location in Odessa.

I used to crave my 5 a.m. workouts -- Peloton, weights, all of it -- but the fatigue and hormones threw me through a loop, and my consistency totally fell apart. Even when I did get workouts in, nothing was changing, and I was at a loss. When I started working with Rebecca late July, I found out she was very experienced and knowledgeable with perimenopause -- not just with how your workouts need to change and focus more on strength training, but how a woman needs to shift her diet. As a stay-at-home mom, I have to admit my diet was more focused on everyone else first, and then I'd eat the same easy "meals" or scraps and leftovers on the go! It was a huge lifestyle change to shift to Rebecca's meal plan, but it has literally changed my life. I've lost 10 lbs and completely reshaped my body using only home gym equipment and exercises tailored around my limitations and injuries (I can't hold more than 12 lb dumbbells or curl more than 8). Please note that I'm 5'5 and normally 124 so coming back down from the weight gain that shot me up to 133 isn't a walk in the park! Rebecca is that good! In total a 10% weight loss, Losing 4 to 5 inches while shrinking   various parts of my midsection.
