I'm not sure how to rate this store. I stopped in 2 weeks ago and found it cluttered with beautiful fabric that isn't organized. This is my second visit and I don't recall the store being this disorganized. I was looking for Christmas fabric and found a little bit in different rooms. Not a large selection. Spoke to the owner on my way out who stated they just returned from a trade show and hadn't unpacked yet. She mentioned on Wednesday afternoons, between 4-6, they go on their Facebook page and display 150 different fabrics that you may order online. To date, I haven't had the opportunity to do so. They also offer classes at a reasonable price. Fun store. Very eclectic and a nice offering of fabrics. The store is in A cool, old house with different groupings in each room. Staff was friendly and helpful. We actually just stumbled on this store as we be drove by. They definitely need a yelp presence! Worth a stop for sure. read more

I didn't want to have to write this but feel I should to let others know what happened to me. I purchased a quilt kit from Fabric Chicks Creative Oasis the end of July (Woodland Dreaming) and received it the beginning of August. I couldn't find it in Canada. The yardage amounts were removed from the pattern and when I found the pattern online I saw all fabrics were all shorted. I sent and email and a nice employee at the store called and they said they make the kit and only put in what you need to keep the cost down. That's fine. I told them I would cut it and see if everything was good. I had two major problems with the kit. One fabric they sent 12 inches only, however the pattern said cut 7 pieces 1 inch each and one piece 9&1/2 inches. That adds up to 16&1/2 so they shorted me and I didn't have enough. Another fabric (a large print you need to fussy cut) they didn't put in the kit AT ALL and substituted it with a fabric that can't be used. This is a main fabric as you need to cut out large animals and is a focal point of the kit. I emailed again, waited a week and emailed again. I finally received a response from the owner Beth on the 9th who said she was out of town but would be back Tuesday and would make it right if there was a mistake. Finally on the 14th of August she responded. She said she pulled out another kit and yes they substituted a small print for the large. She said "her staff should know better and good help is hard to find and grown women are even harder to get to do what is asked. I'm not sure what they were thinking". The main fabric I needed for the quilt (focal point) she no longer had but offered a cut up leftover piece she had which had everything I needed cut out of it already. She made no mention at all of the other piece of fabric she shorted. I emailed her back and told her I had to spend an addition $40.00 USD to find the fabrics I needed at fabric.com so I could at least make this after giving her the money for a complete kit that was not complete. I have heard NOTHING AT ALL from her. She has made no offer at all to try and make anything right or offer me a little money back at least for me having to purchase the fabrics that should have been included in the kit. To top it off I'm in Canada and had to pay duty, etc and conversion on everything. This makes me sad because I try to support small quilt shops but I think after this experience I will stick to the big well known companies in the US instead when I place a USA order. read more

The staff is incredibly helpful and the ideas and samples they have in the shop or in a booth at a show are always creative and beautifully done. I always have such a great time here!! Cheryl and Beth are so amazing!! As a younger quilter I don't feel any negativity when I come in. The shop is so beautifully laid out and their fabric is always amazing and beautiful. I have taken a class and thoroughly enjoyed it. I visit every time I am in town and always walk away with new, great, ideas and of course fabric. Unlike many quilt shops Beth is happy to give her opinion and ideas on how to put fabrics together.
