This is my second visit and I don't recall the store being this disorganized. I was looking for Christmas fabric and found a little bit in different rooms. Not a large selection. Spoke to the owner on my way out who stated they just returned from a trade show and hadn't unpacked yet. She mentioned on Wednesday afternoons, between 4-6, they go on their Facebook page and display 150 different fabrics that you may order online. To date, I haven't had the opportunity to do so. They also offer classes at a reasonable price. I've gone in several times and unless I have some thing in my hand, implying I'm going to buy something, I'm completely ignored. I've been Mae to wonder if I'm invisible. I guess because I'm not a regular I'm not important. But I was trying to become a regular! They don't want my business and it's painfully obvious. It's a shame too because it's a pretty store, and there's a nice selection of notions, thread, and accessories but the people who work there are all very snobby and I left feeling very unwelcome. I really wanted to meet others in my new neighborhood who share the passion but this place gets a big fat F for fail. I drove to Reno for the thread I needed to finish my quilt because I refuse to go in here again.

I was in the store last Tuesday 3/29/2022. I was not looking for anything specific, just love…read morequilting. While I was in the store I met Josh, he was loading a quilt on the long arm. I purchased a long arm 1.5 years ago and have been terrified. Josh spent at least an hour talking to me and sharing some tip and tricks. Well this weekend, I came home and fired up that machine. I quilted a lap size quilt that has been loaded on the machine as long as I have had it. It didn't turn out bad for my first attempt. I can't wait to get another top constructed so I can practice some more. Josh, your customer service was amazing and you were so generous with your time and knowledge. Thank you! I will be back.

Thanks to yelp reviews, we decided to try Quilt Legacy in Carson City. We are so glad we did. Ruthann and Paul, owners of Quilt Legacy, were absolutely awesome. They are good people and extremely talented in quilt making, repairs and design. Their prices seemed very fair. The quilt we dropped off was a doggie damaged quilt. The quilt we picked up was perfectly repaired. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Plus our quilt was done in a very timely manner. We, also, found out they take quilts from all over the country for all kinds of repair (burn damage, tears, etc.) We loved their work and just as important, we loved them as people.

Lots to do here. No studio fee which is awesome. My daughter had a great time with her pottery. You don't have to finish in 1 sitting. You can come back and take your time painting. The only complaint I have is that when I went to ask a question from the hire help she didn't know the answer and said that the owner hasn't trained her yet. We will be going today to see if the pottery has been fired. If so, then the lack of communication that it is ready to pick up or if not fired then we were not told how often they fire the kiln. This is a project if you live in town because the turn around can be a while. Still had a great time and plan on doing another or try the candle making.

We were a little disappointed with the selection of shapes and colors for the candles but they still turned out pretty cool. They had a wide variety of scents and let you decide how strong you want it. After we were done arranging our wax shapes she let us know it would be about 30 minutes or so. We left and came back. It was a fun crafty thing but there could have been more engagement and variety of options to make the experience more fun. Since we went I have seen on social media they now have dough bowl candles where you can add wax succulents so we plan to back and try that!
