The people in this shop are amazing. Always friendly and helpful. We had to take a machine in for repairs and the mechanic was thorough in diagnosing the problem and explaining it to us. They don't have room to stock a lot of parts so there may be a wait but that is explained up front. They loaned us a machine to use until ours was repaired. Great selection of quilting fabrics. Mainly organized by color or themes. Large classroom space for instruction. First time we visited they were holding a class for Epic machine owners. read more

Great, large store! They carry many varities of cotton, upholstery, and some dress fabrics. They have a lot of sales and a dollar/yard room in the back. The girls are very helpful and sweet. What a find! I took my Singer sewing machine in because it was chewing up fabric. Becky took it right away and began working on it while I looked at all of their gorgeous, top quality fabric. Once she had discovered the problem, she came and found me, then gave me a fifteen minute tutorial on what's going wrong. The machine ran perfectly and I, who have been sewing more than fifty years, learned several important lessons. To top it all off, it was absolutely free. She just called it "triage." Then the woman at the cutting counter was so helpful in finding the notions I wanted and in helping me figure proper yardage for my project. I left there very satisfied and will definitely be back. Here is it 2015, and I have been visiting Fabric Warehouse for 1 1/2 years now. This is the place to go for the best assortment of fabric. I have participated in many workshops with guest speakers, and classes to perfect my embroidery and sewing skills. A sewing machine is only as good as the support behind it. That is why I chose a Husvargna Viking machine from THIS store, and drive 80 miles round trip to go there. Other stores sell these machines, but don't have the experienced sales people to teach you how to use it. This place is a mess! Bolts of fabric scattered everywhere. No clear signage other than the new arrivals section and some labels for certain designers. They do have good prices on clearance fabric, if you can find anything! Regular fabric prices are $10.50 - $12/yd. If they could get more organized, this might be a good place to shop.... read more
