I explained that I had a certain frame in mind because I had bought 2 and loved how they looked, but had to return them because the foam boards the photos were on made it to thick for the frame back to fasten. They told me they might be able to help me with that. I repurchased the frames, brought them back to the shop, and they determined that it could be done. I was thrilled! This was not going to cost me even 25% of what a custom framing would cost, yet they were happy they could help me out with this. This business will get all of my framing from now on. These people are fantastic!

Susan was amazing and let me have a lot of hands on participation during the process while making sure I was being safe and explaining the process as we went along. Whether you want to work with molten glass, watch others work with it or browse the glass art, either way, it is a unique place and an amazing experience that I highly recommend!

Beautiful young lady at the entrance catalog my reservation, which i was later told you don't really need it. They are doing one more day tomorrow from 1pm to 3pm, im definitely going to bring my mother in. Their collection was huge n beautiful. They had all the paintings im used to seeing from him n then many more of the ones i never seen. They have a new "to us" section of his collection of pop art posters. Just groovy n gorgeous colors, that bring the still images into another realm of perspective beauty. I really wanted to walk out with a few but im no where near the bank needed to do that lol. But i have gone full wild n walked out of auctions with his work before. To those that don't know? In most art auctions there's FREE booze. And this girl right here has gotten very very very VERY! "INSPIRED". I was speaking to one of the nice ladies in the show room about the last time i got "inspired" i won 3 guessing, matching n hidden treasure games in that Art auction. So i had 3 bottles of champagne with me n they went WOOOSH! Disappeared, like an act of magic. All I remember is that im the proud owner of 8 paintings. Lol among them was Petter Max and another gentleman i love. They invited me for another night of crazy Jez but although i did go I didn't add to that collection. Do i regret it? The first one no the second night? Yes omg YES!! I saw 5 of the paintings offered to me at the time weren't over the 5k mark. I saw them in this gallery over 15k ouch! I wanted to cry but a las Jez D Wild will one day find herself in another one of these auctions. Back at the gallery; I loved the displays n how they setup the art Exhibit. They had a charming greeter n one of the main most seen paintings dead center. Lady liberty. I love what he did in order to get the fund needed to save the Statue. It's what made me love his art more. Towards the left they had their painting framing counters, consultations n my favorite part, the Bar! Lol i only had a cup of wine to spice up my "inspiration" lol oh it work beautifully! I seriously felt the vibe with the groovy music playing and the beautiful art. I saw the ones i own at x2-x3 times what i payed for my collection. I fought temptation head on! I seriously wanted to walk away with 3 but even with the 12 month pay plan it would hurt my shenanigans money. Another time it's the best advice i got for myself. I think i would've walked out with a print or poster if they had it for sale. I didn't see them n my anemia was kicking my butt so I forgot to ask. I really loved my visit. The staff is kind and professional. Well verse in the craft n if u checkin through the app they give you a voucher for a free consultation on framing your art to. I would definitely come back for future exhibitions. The smell of oils n thinners really made me miss my days as a student of the arts. I think its time for me to return to my craft. I called before I went to double-check closing hours, and although he was about to head out, since I was only 5 minutes away, he said he would stay. The customer area is small, but you don't really need much, just room to lay out the item you want framed and experiment with different mats and frames around it. The store could have been a tad more organized, like with mats all sorted by color, or getting a receipt that showed the info of what you ordered, and when it would be ready, but all in all it was still a great experience. The Owner was super nice and helpful, the price was very reasonable, and my framed print was ready when he said it would be. Plus, it turned out perfectly!

Spent a day creating my first mosaic piece at Breakables. I was pleased with the final product…read more They have a wide array of tiles and pieces, provide the glue, the item to receive the tile pieces and good space to work (little heat on cold days). It's nice it's next to a tea store so you can sip while you work. I thought I'd be finished in an hour but we were there over 3. Initially I thought the prices were high, starting at about $32 for smaller sized things, but after seeing the work, time and tiles involved, it's more than fair. I would have liked for it to be staffed with a helpful person with tiling experience, but the clerk from Picasso's ceramic painting café ran back and forth checking on us and couldn't have been nicer. We were largely on our own, after a brief demo on how to cut tiles. (Needy people and children will perhaps not like the set-up/independence required.) They send you home with a bag of grout to finish it 24 hours after the glue sets. Inventory for tile boards was scant. The finished models showed you what finished products looked like but were not available to make. They had some mosaics on Lucite and had an area for making candles. It was a good first experience. I love the whole artist enclave vibe of the strip of stores here.
