To say this store is overwhelming is an understatement. Len's Mill Store here in London is your one…read morestop shop, for fabrics, sewing, clothes, crafts and so much more all packed into one large warehouse. I came here on Saturday with my mom, who loves to sew, and she wanted to pick up some unique fabrics from here that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else, unless you went to the States. The door to come into the place is deceiving, it's one door, and the entrance and exit are one in the same and immediately to the left are the shopping carts, and to the right are the cashiers. The aisle-ways are somewhat narrow for these shopping carts, but the fabric selection is HUGE. My mom was like a kid in a candy store. She had a mission for flannel to make something for a baby shower for some friends of ours. We also found some Doctor Who fabrics, which I never thought we could find in London, let alone Canada. The employees were fairly nice and helpful, could be a bit more enthusiastic, they didn't really look happy to be there. The aisles are kind of small to walk through and the entire place is full of items, not a regular tidy store you would usually walk into, but if you know what you want and what you're looking for, for a fairly good bargain, this would be the place!

I recently ordered a Cotton woven mystery bundle for $45 from Funkymonkeyfabrics.com…read more Upon arrival every single piece of the bundle was a child's cartoons. Not 1 piece... or 3 pieces.... Every. Single. Piece. While people who do projects for children and/or have children in their life may be happy with this bundle, I am not, and do not have children in my life in which to use these scraps. Also one of the pieces was cut and then sewn back together. Like honestly. Really? Also, they want me to pay for shipping to return the "bundle" back to them? Do they realize that while their shipping for them is $10 for a business account... I would be charged at least $15? Rags it is! Upon posting a displeasing comment on their Facebook page, I learn that that they " dont want my opinion to negatively affect others who might order". Well I'm sorry that you cannot take a bad review. But you cannot be deleting less-than-5 star reviews to make yourself look better! Clearly there are more negative reviews then if their approach is to delete negative reviews! Shameful & appalling more so on that aspect than on the fabrics I recieved. I would stay away from all their "mystery" bundles. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of fast fulfillment and the couple separately picked items I bought were decent. At leat they have something going for them.

This Canadian made trendy furniture outlet is a fairly new addition to London's modern furniture…read morechoices. It offers both ready made and custom order furniture, rugs, tableware, wall decor, lighting, pillows and other decorative things. I love their selection. It's a nice store to wander about in with a West Elm or Crate and Barrel vibe. However, I have had some issues. Firstly in product reliability. I purchased a mid century modern lamp for over $400. When I got it home and assembled it one of the custom lamp shades had a large tear in it. Returned it. Lamp #2 assembled (not a fun or easy assembly FYI), worked for 1 week, then nothing. Seemed to be an issue with the wiring and twisting "on" switch. Returned again. Lamp #3 now having been assembled and in house with Hue lights to completely avoid on-switch issues. It looks great but I wait with baited breath for next issue. You expect this when its IKEA value products, but not higher end pieces. Also, I have had mixed customer service. My first visit I had a very helpful male sales associate who helped me plug in things in the store to try. And the returns above went smoothly with no hassle. But, I went with my mom who had purchased a rug and the manager gave her a hard time, spouted off a completely different "return policy" than what is posted at register and on receipt, and after a lot of arguing only gave her store credit. Which might be fine on a small purchase. This was not. She's basically now sitting on an $1000 gift certificate that she can't find anything there to use it on. So definitely a fun browse and a quick token purchase, but just be aware of potential issues with major purchases.
