I couldnt say enough about them. one thing anyone needs to know though is they are THE BEST, BIGGEST quilt store on the east coast and when you come in there. they are normally swamped. you really need to do your own homework a lot of times before you get there or you will definitely be overwhelmed with all the selections! I have bought three machines. (Bernina) and, an Accuquilt fabric cutter, a Brother "Scan n Cut". among tons of other stuff. their prices are right on. you will not find it cheaper anywhere even on Amazon. besides, I love supporting my quilting shop anyways. I do buy some things in bulk but, truly not much. If you can afford it and want a machine that does everything. Just go ahead and get the Bernina 990 or the Brother top of the line. you will end up with it anyway. (lol). they frequently have 0% financing and it isn't a bad monthly payment at all. the Ladies there are you family in Quilting and Embroidery and they love to talk shop. Help when they can and are so kind and sweet. I just cant say enough about them. but, honestly it is a lot of fun there. go check it out.

Very disappointed with my recent visit. I've shopped here before without issue, but this experience…read morewas completely different. First, Google listed the opening time as 10 a.m., but the store did not open until 11. We had driven from Baltimore to get ahead of bad weather, tried calling multiple times, and found the voicemail full. There's no website to confirm hours, so we were left guessing whether to wait. Once inside, we spent nearly two hours selecting eight fabrics for multiple projects. Many fabrics were not priced, and the single employee cutting fabric had to repeatedly walk to the front of the store to ask the owner for pricing or answers to basic questions, which made the process extremely slow. The final issue was a large-print fabric that had deep slashes running several yards into the roll, along with visible black marks. I asked that the damaged portion be cut off or that cutting begin from the other end of the roll. The owner refused and told me that if I didn't like it, I didn't have to buy it, stating multiple times that they are a "for profit store." I have over 50 years of experience buying fabric and have never been expected to pay for clearly damaged yardage. We ultimately walked out without purchasing anything, leaving eight rolls at the cutting table--well over $1,000 in sales lost. It's disappointing to see how much this store has changed. It was once staffed by knowledgeable, helpful people who wanted to assist customers. I won't be returning.

Huge selection piled up in a big mess with an obnoxiously arrogant, rude, and unhelpful owner…read moreclearly not wanting to be there running the store. Walked in and walked out two times thinking that that the owner was having a bad day the first time but no, they're like this every day. Clearly they don't care about their customers or their own business. Shame. To the owner: sell the business and free yourself from the misery. ZERO stars.

We were looking for a half-day, nature and play-based preschool with experienced teachers and hit the jackpot when we found Ms. Alison's Kangaroo Preschool! We watched our children build social and emotional skills, get plenty of outdoor play time, marvel at the chickens, ducks, and garden, and always come home happy and excited for their next day there. My daughter was well-prepared for Kindergarten, and my son is right on track as his preschool days come to a close. We feel so lucky to have seen such blossoming growth from both our kids. We are very thankful for our time spent at Kangaroo preschool with Ms. Alison and Ms. Anna; both incredibly caring, kind, and insightful women that we will miss terribly!

Ms. Alison teaches an academic curriculum that is age appropriate and allows students to grow at their own pace. All students find success in some way each day and love coming to preschool! My oldest son spent almost 3 years with Ms. Alison, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Anna. Over his time with Ms. Alison, Paul gained confidence, strong friendships, and skills that prepared him very well for Kindergarten. He loved spending time in the garden, checking out the chickens, and playing in the wonderful outdoor play spaces. My younger son just spent his first year at preschool and has come such a long way during this time! Cole has gained confidence, learned to follow directions and expectations for activities and loves playing with his friends. He loves checking out new bugs or animals that may visit the preschool and playing with the many cars and trucks both inside and outside. As a family, we enjoy reading the classroom library books the boys have gotten to borrow and bring home each night. Both of my boys have different personalities and strengths and Ms. Alison has taught each of them in the way that works for their needs. This is a great preschool program and we are lucky to have Ms. Alison as part of our school years!
