Sometimes you just need somewhere to catch your breath, catch up, and plan for the rest of the day. Chokladkoppen did that for me. I had the Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon bun, and leisurely sat at my table for at least 30 minutes. There was never pressure to move on, which is so common, at least in the US ("Are you finished working on that? Can I bring you something else? Can I bring you a box?). The hot chocolate was dark, very much tasted like quality chocolate, and like a warm massage. I also ate one of their cinnamon buns, which are very popular in Stockholm. It also hit the spot. The cost of the hot chocolate was $6 USD and the cinnamon bun was a few cents less. The view from the table and people watching alone was worth the total $12 cost, but so was the hot chocolate and cinnamon bun.

I follow Skroten Café and Skeppshandel on social media so I can see this place I fell in love with the first time I came here. After ca 40 minutes my food came, ONE small herring, everything cold. When my friend's food came I had already eaten. Her food was cold too and the steaks uneatable. The food was very bad, service and attitude as well. WARNING! Must be the worst lunch place on Djurgården!
