Monique was fantastic! At first I wasn't going too leave her a tip or rebook again because she was late,but it was an honest mistake. She thought she my appointment was the following day at the same time. Luckily she was close by so she could still perform the service. I bought the Head 2 Toe body wax Groupon and it's an extra $25 for Brazilian. The Groupon plus the extra $25 PLUS the $20 tip I left her was STILL CHEAPER than my normal EWC or this other waxing boutique I go to in the Westchase district. She used 2 different types of waxes. Hard wax for the most difficult areas for the brazillian and soft wax for everything else. I had to get used to her technique though. I am used to a one pull and next area from EWC, but she does smaller areas and multiple tugs. I am a long time avid waxer and I am used to the pain, so that didn't bother me much. She is in a rented salon space, and her little space is decorated nicely. Really comfortable and she even let my boyfriend come in to hold my hand because I was past my 4-6 week growth. read more

Booked as a first time client for brazillian wax. Worst mistake. Either wax used is poor in quality or the professional just was not as experienced as she should be. Wax was poor. Patches left, wax still stuck to me. And she used half strips and half hardening wax which made wax uneven in areas that matter most. Will def stick with European wax centers next time. read more

Did a facial here - was having problems with my skin for months being dry and breaking out. I told her what I had been using on my face and come to find out - I had been using all the wrong products and she basically told me to throw them away and suggested products I could use, not her products she was selling, but products I could get from the drug store. I have to say, she gave me the best advice better than any dermatologist did in the past, and my skin stop the bad dryness I was experiencing completely! She really cares about her clients and does a great job at what she does, for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend! read more

Monique is great! She did a great job on the Brazilian wax, made sure I was comfortable and was very knowledgable about the procedure. I used a great special on groupon but she let me know that she uses the same deal without groupon which basically makes her one of the cheapest in the area. Had a wax service via Groupon. It was a great experience. Felt very comfortable - pretty hard to do when you've got your whole kit out. :) Will be going here from now on for all of my waxing. Beware of the misleading and (in my opinion) unethical advertising. I purchased the "head to toe" waxing package on Groupon. Since head to toe = all over, I thought it was a great deal. When I texted the business (doesn't except phone calls), I was told that head to toe waxing only includes half your legs, underarms, lip, and bikini line. If that was the case, it shouldn't have been advertised as head to toe waxing. On top of that, the owner had a really nasty attitude when I respectfully told her that advertising the package as head to toe when it actually wasn't was misleading. Her excuse was that head to toe was a "catchy phrase" that shouldn't have been taken literally. When I contacted Groupon, they agreed with me and said they would ask her to comply with the words on the advertisement. I honestly would rather have a refund, but I purchased it more than 3 days ago. read more

I like this lady!!! Y'all know I don't say that about folks too often, but I like her! She has my skin on point, but I hate that she is so far away. It takes me an hour to get to her, but I don't mind taking the trip every now and then. I found Monique using a Groupon for a chemical peel. She did the best extractions and told me my skin was really congested with oil and debris. She took her time doing the extractions before doing my glycolic peel. She suggested I return for microdermabrasion in a month as a follow-up to the facial to get my skin wedding ready. She also told me about permanent makeup for my eyebrows to address my insecurities of having sparse eyebrows. My skin felt so clean and clear in the days following my treatment. I returned a month later for microdermabrasion without a Groupon and had the same quality service as before. She is reasonably priced even without the Groupon. She accepts credit card payments and her schedule is pretty flexible. read more
