I used to absolutely love this spa/salon. Since they opened a million locations the quality has plummeted. For my most recent (laser cleanup) appointment, I had a horrible experience... I received FIVE phone calls over the course of weeks leading up to my appt asking me to reschedule. And I'm not talking 5 calls because they couldn't reach me! Nope. I called back each and every time to acquiesce to their ever-increasing demands- up until the last call, which came a day before my (rescheduled, rescheduled, rescheduled) appt. I couldn't return that one in time. My mind was truly boggled at how --even after I expressed consternation that any business could be run this poorly and treat customers this badly -- the calls just kept coming. How hard is it to offer someone an appt time and stick to it? My dentist, doctor, OB, allergy specialist, hair stylist, and mechanic do it all the time **** As an update to my review 12/01/24**** The owner, Jenna, reached out to me, with the same message she has posted below. This experience was amazing! I was greeted and helped to sign in by the front desk lady who was super nice! My tech Katrina was very professional and explained everything to me including all the steps to the facial, also she explained a lot of things I had a few questions about and certain services. I will definitely be scheduling more visits. She made my skin glowing once I left. read more

This was the worst experience ever. Highly racist staff. My appointment was made via phone. I came in & the tech didn't want to allow me to go to the rest room, then after she starts to tell me because my skin as been exposed to sun they can not treat me. She explains that until I no longer have sun exposer they can not treat me. I asked what they consider as exposure she advised if you are in the sun longer than 20-30 min. I explained that I am not even in the Sun for that amount of time. I am African American so naturally Im a darker complexion. I asked why wasn't I provided this information before I came. She said oh we can't treat you without a consultation. Then she said you're welcomed to go somewhere else and see if they will do it... And she even hurried to explain how to get a refund from Groupon and quickly walked me out the door. In my 46 years I have never experienced racism to this degree..... I couldn't reply back to the "owner" but I have attached her reply. 1) I wasn't advised of a consultation 2) I'm not African I'm American 3) I was told when my skin was no longer tan I could be treated. 4) Black people get laser treatment all the time and don't burn. 5) I have received 5 laser treatments on my back for a large tattoo and NO issues. I originally visited The Rock Spa for a spray tan after finding them on Groupon. During my spray tan, I talked to Allissa about how I'd always wanted to try dermaplaning but I thought my hair would grow back different, she assured me it wouldn't and explained how the dermaplaning process works. After experiencing my first dermaplane at The Rock Spa, I now go every 4 weeks. My face is so smooth, my makeup goes on much better and I enjoy my time chatting with Allissa. Everyone there is kind and knowledgeable about their products and services - I'd definitely recommend them for all of your skin care wants/needs. read more

The staff is always friendly, there is almost always a promotional deal going on for treatments, and I always feel well taken care of! I went in for my first hydrafacial (and first any sort of facial). I have to say, I was disappointed in the lack of explanation about my service. My aesthetician did not introduce herself or set any expectations. I ended up having to look up how to care for my skin after a hydrafacial (ie. don't wash your face until the morning after) online. I ultimately left leaving not sure I even recieved the service I actually paid for. I know this spa is relatively new, I hope this is feedback that will foster growth and better experiences in the future. read more

My experience here was awesome! I had Dysport (type of Botox) injections around my upper lip also known as a Lip Flip. My esthetician was Tammy. She answered all of our questions knowledgeably and with recommendations, but not the pushy, up-sell, sales routine. Which was refreshing, because we were inquiring about all kids of procedures (I brought a friend). Tammy helped me sign up for a rewards program which saved me $20! So my lip flip was only $30! ($20 + $10 tip). She used topical numbing cream, and I didn't even feel half of the injections. It was an overall inexpensive and easy appointment, AND I was able to schedule it online via email which was AWESOME. These are the kinds of things that keep people coming back. There are so many cool procedures available and I will be back to try derma-planing ($35!), microneedling, and forehead Botox. I've been to several derma spas for treatments/filler/etc. and this has been the best experience. read more

Alexyss was my technician for my first ever microneedling session, Chasadee for my second, and Natalie for the last one. Before the first procedure, photos were taken and I asked that they be sent to me. I never received them. After the last appointment, Natalie said she would send me information on chemical peels. I never received that. Natalie's session was by far the best and least painful, with Chasadee's being the worst and most painful. Chasadee did my forehead first and I was about to jump out of the chair. Alexyss and Natalie worked on my forehead at the very end, after the numbing agent had a lot of time to do its work. Has microneedling made a difference in the way my skin looks? I'm not certain. Natalie thought a chemical peel might get faster results. She was the most professional and confident of the three estheticians and she spoke with authority. I come from a medical family and am uneasy about having these even minimally invasive procedures done outside of a doctor's office. But I am trying out a couple different salons, some with doctors, some not. So far, this one has been ok. They offer specials and Groupons. I did overhear someone saying that the owner is really into making a buck... The decor looks like it was all purchased at Home Goods, cheap but pretty. The staff is very young. read more
