I think that says it all. Our guests absolutely raved about Phase 5. They are true professionals and so incredibly talented. Their versatility is amazing and they have a huge list of songs they can play. They played for our cocktail hour and then 3 hours straight (!!!) during the reception. The dance floor was packed the entire time, they read the crowd so well, and for the end of the night Josh did a fantastic job DJing based on the musical genres I requested. They also went above and beyond what we expected and saved us from a wedding disaster. We had a steel drummer booked to play during our ceremony. When he didn't show up until 5 minutes before our ceremony was starting, Phase 5 jumped right in and handled the music for when guests were arriving and during the ceremony. As for me? I was already a huge fan, having seen them perform around Tampa for years. For that reason, I chose my wedding date based on when Phase 5 was available and I booked them within a week of getting engaged. They traveled all the way to the Keys for our wedding, too. If you want a band at your wedding, this is who you need to hire. Be sure to act fast because they are in high demand -- they were doing 4 weddings the weekend of our wedding!

After seeing the story I was a little leery but let me just say that the show was fabulous. It's a modern day funky circus that is small but a total class act. So entertaining with great music and an Emcee that gets the whole audience involved. We all loved it and wish we had brought our kids. I recently heard they are now the World's largest modeling and acting company, with their placement of models spanning internationally. That's pretty cool. When I traveled out to NYC I found their original location from 1939 off 5th Ave. is now a NYC Historic Landmark! So Idk what that one negative reviewer was talking about. I guess there are just negative people everywhere and unfortunately the negative spirits are the ones quickest to review and spread their hate like that lady. Anyway, my little sister goes to Barbizon now over there at their World Headquarters every month... and yeah it's located on the second floor of an office building that has a Wells Fargo on the first floor... But they certainly aren't closed. My Grandmother was a Barbizon girl years ago and modeled in the newspapers and for local businesses (she will proudly still show those pictures!) my Mother was a Barbizon girl, and I too am a Barbizon lady, I modeled runway and commercial print for seven fun years. Beyond he money I earned and the networks of friends and business relationships I built, I learned about myself in ways I could have never learned otherwise by taking their Finishing School. I learned things from the silly- makeup-artist trained makeup application techniques so you always are the girl with the perfect makeup, or photo movement- so you're always "that" girl that is photogenic in every photo, to the actual meat and potatoes that is the modeling and acting training we all want to provide us all the skills and industry know how that you need to land a job in this super competitive industry. What I've found to be most beneficial from Barbizon overall in my life was the personal development aspects. I learned that what Mom and Dad were telling me all the time at home was true: I am beautiful, I am intelligent, I am worthy, I am special. I can do anything I set my mind to. But sometimes that's just a parent's job to say those things. Barbizon is really great about mirroring what parents say at home to the girls and helping them believe in themselves ... And now my sis is a Barbizon girl and hearing her tell me all about what she's doing is so fun, and seeing the changes in her personally is just awesome. I highly recommend Barbizon to any family with daughters. Every girl should go through an experience like Barbizon. Improving self-esteem, self-confidence, and learning how to navigate the world as a professional, confident woman. Nothing negative can come from gaining more confidence, and Barbizon is the best tool I've ever seen and experienced to help garner more overall confidence. Can't say enough about this place! There is no selection committee and everyone is selected. Then they try to get you to buy a $2000 package. Then they had the nerve to try and sell us to go to Passport to Discovery a convention in Orlando and pay another $5000 to meet with so called agents that aren't really agents. It's a rip off and a scam!!! RUN
