We drove in to the lot and there were so many cones and far too many people with lights to move traffic. Cash is preferred but they do have the option to take a card using a smart phone plugin of some sort. Plan ahead and give yourself at least 30 minutes to park and then walk to the tent; only VIPs get to park nearby. The general seating is tight. You definitely don't have any personal space. BUT for those of you worried about it, concierge was offering seat upgrades for very minimal costs. We were able to upgrade to premium seating, with much more padding, arm rests, a cup holder, and probably a couple extra inches of space, for only $20 more per person. They offer concessions and accept credit cards or cash. The concessions are ridiculously overpriced but they do have a couple combos to save you money. Please be respectful of the rules: no flash photography; not only is it dangerous to distract the performers but it's also annoying to patrons watching the show. Don't be rude.

Being so close to the stage from our seats front and center allowed for this pure engagement as Izzard performed all 23 roles of Hamlet. The Jaeb Theater at the Straz has high ceilings in the lobby but it's fairly tight once it's full with people waiting to enter the theater. There is a corner reserved for refreshments and eats, with a limited spirit selection, beer, wine, and other non alcoholic products. Their cookies were wicked tasty with the white chocolate and macadamia nuts. The other side has two restrooms that fill up during intermission but there were ample stalls. The staff were friendly and ensured we made it to our seats, which were front and center. The experience was magical.

About 100 years old, according to the one employee I asked, the details are incredible, the seats comfortable, the upcoming movies look great...Unfortunately did not have an opportunity to go to the balcony but I was told that's a must do! Downstairs bathrooms/ architecture follows suit. There is a large bar/ concession area, but I did not utilize this amenity. Get there early for parking, just in case ( a few private pay by app lots....). I am unfamiliar with the area, so there possibly are other options.

This seats are retractable becoming an open space. The fall festival last three days. I attend three programs in two days. I saw the performance of the Tampa City Ballet, Daisies and Axes, Atlas Modern Ballet Company. Those are good professional performances. I saw the Tampa City Ballet Alice in Wonderland, Daisies and Axes acoustic folk rock, and Atlas Modern Ballet contemporary dance. The studio seem like has spring floor good for dance class. I suggest checking out a performance at the Falk Theatre if you see something intriguing and feel so inclined.
