I should also mention that I had the honor of being one of her last brides ever to have her make up done by Yumi. She's no longer doing any bridal make up and instead, focusing all of her efforts on her suite. Background: My skin is EXTREMELY sensitive. I have acne rosacea which means everything in the world is a trigger to my skin (oily food, stress, sweat, heat, fragrance, people looking at me the wrong way, you name it). I also suffer from dry patches (smh). Because of this, I'm always wary about new products and any sort of facial treatment. Before my treatment, I let Yumi know of this and she actually steered me away from a more expensive treatment I was thinking of booking to dermaplaning instead. I love when professionals do this because it lets me know they care, they listen, and they want the best for their clients too. The treatment was fantastic. She is so easy to relax around and so personable. Afterwards, my skin was GLOWINGGGGG and SO soft. BUT as we all know, skin quality takes time, consistency, and effort. I unfortunately didn't have time to schedule more facials so on the day of my wedding, although 85% of my skin looked great, I still had some pesky dry patches around my mouth/chin. Usually I would've freaked out but I trusted my whole life in Yumi's hands and let me tell you, she worked MAGIC on my face. Maybe it's because of her expertise in the field of skincare but by the time she was done with my make up, not a single. dry. patch. to. be. found. See the attached photos as proof T_T All that to say, Yumi continues to be one of the most incredible humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and experiencing and I am so thankful she is in this field. I paid through Groupon and got a 60 minute massage for $50 (original is $80). The tax and gratuity has to be paid at the spa in cash though, so go prepared with cash. I called ahead to make an appointment and mentioned my Groupon. The spa is right off of Rt 46 West in Denville, right before the restaurant, Sogo. The place has a hair salon downstairs and massage rooms upstairs. My masseuse was Ingrid and she was accommodating to my needs and very nice! She gave me a lot of time to undress and I ended up having to call to her to say I'm ready because I was afraid it would cut into my massage but it didn't, I still got my full hour. My massage was great and very relaxing! Ingrid really focused on my problem areas and did well! Unfortunately, the Groupon is only for first time customers which is understandable. I reluctantly write this review, but I have been pushed too far and feel I have no choice but to…read morelet others know about my experience. I have used LH for a various number of services and have spent thousands of dollars with them. The last appointment I went in for was Brazilian laser hair removal. I had previously gone to them for laser hair removal from the waist down without any issue - unfortunately, they let my previous technician go, and I was scheduled with a new APN named Madison who had less than 1-year of experience. I like to think I have a high pain tolerance, but this treatment was so unbearable I was flinching so hard my back was coming up off the table, and I was in an extreme amount of pain that the APN ignored. The APN also increased the power of the laser even though I had not been coming in frequently enough to warrant an increase. By the next day I had multiple open burn wounds in an EXTREMELY private area, to the point where I could not wear anything but sweatpants. I called the next day to see what I should do, and the manager Bri told me I needed to email in photos to her of my labia (WHAT?!) and when I told her I didn't feel comfortable emailing photos, she made innuendos of me lying and needing to prove to them if I was going to say their spa burned me. I eventually got on the phone with Megan an APN, and told her I would drive right there to show her, she said it was unnecessary and to wait until a few days later. She then helped me to get burn cream (Biafine). They then wanted me to come in a 3rd time to show the APN who performed the treatment, Madison, photos to prove the burns - she simply looked at the photos of my labia and said "Yes, that is indeed a burn" and her focus was making attempts at finding out if I would be using them for further treatments instead of caring about what I was going through. She never said I needed to physically show the burn instead of photos. At this point, I have had to take off from work, put the Biafine cream on every hour for over a week, taken time out of my day to drive there and visit 3 times, and still nobody offered any sort of refund/partial refund. I proceeded to call them again to relay how unfair I believe I have been treated to give them a chance to make it right and preserve the relationship, and the manager Brianna told me the owner of the spa would only offer to give me another complimentary Brazilian laser hair removal treatment. How does that seem fair?! To put me through another treatment with an APN that had already been responsible for giving me multiple 2nd degree burns and an ineffective laser treatment. As the customer whose body was damaged, I should be the one to choose what I would be comfortable to use a credit from them on. Beyond that, I have NEVER spoken to someone as rude and unempathetic as the manager Brianna. The fact that they keep someone on staff at a medical spa that speaks to their customers with such attitude is a decision I cannot understand. Regarding my healing, I am hoping there is no loss in color pigmentation or scarring, and I am praying I heal properly from this awful experience. If at any point someone simply apologized and refunded me, I would have been understanding and tried to work with them so I could continue to use them for less invasive treatments or use a more experienced APN, however this whole experience has been extremely scary and majorly insulting. I have done EVERYTHING they asked of me and still, they refuse to care. I will no longer be able to go to them for any services, as I can't knowingly continue to visit a spa that would confidently stand by a treatment and APN that left their customer paying for 2nd degree burns. We should be able to trust the estheticians and nurses to take care of us and our bodies, to trust them to tell the truth about what has happened, and now I unfortunately know we can NOT trust LH Spa to take care of us the way a high-end medical spa should. PLEASE beware, and only use experienced technicians and a spa that cares about the pain and trauma they could potentially cause their customers.

I'm going to preface this review by saying I am Greek. For years a struggled with stray hairs on my chin and it drove me crazy. I could feel the stubble, so I tweezed, shaved, waxed and they would always come back. I would get acne spots and other unsightly blemishes from constantly touching my face or manipulating the skin around those hairs. One day I was on Groupon and saw an ad for electrolysis. I was nervous, I was also tired of dealing with these stupid hairs, so I thought, ok, this place is local, let me try a session and see what happens. I called to get information, they told me to prep by not tweezing for a couple of weeks to get growth (shaving was ok). I went in and met Megan Erceg's mom. She was delightful and put me at ease. The space was inviting and bright. For the nervous, there was water and chocolate. When I sat with Megan, we chatted like we were old friends. She told me how she started the business, the challenges she faced, how important it was to be with her family (which keeps growing). Of course I told her my story as well. I love this environment! It's so comforting to walk in and feel like "family." My initial sessions went past the Groupon coupon, but honestly, it was reasonable and the pure joy I felt by not feeling those ugly hairs was liberating. I could feel my smile being brighter and my confidence growing. There is no price tag you could put on the self-esteem I gained thanks to Meg. I went a couple of years with no regrowth, but recently I felt a couple hairs popping up. I made an appointment and Meg told me that stress sometimes causes growth. Guess what, she took care of it for me and said that no follow up was required, but to pop in for clean up as needed. I loved that she didn't try to upsell me and keep me coming back for "maintenance" when it wasn't needed. This is a wonderful practice, they have multiple technicians, a clean facility, products galore if you are interested, no pressure to buy or add services (unless you are looking). Be sure to stop in and get a boost of confidence.
