I had an appointment on a Friday for a lash lift, about 10 mins before my appointment I received a call from the woman (named Artisha I think) who was supposed to do my lashes saying she had to cancel due to her having vehicle issues, but that she could get me in the next day (Saturday), and that she would call me back to schedule the appointment. I was a little bothered because I was notified only 10 mins prior to my appointment time, (I was already on my way there), and also because I had to get someone to watch my 9 month old baby. That being said, i get it, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control, so I understood. Later that day she called back and said she couldn't get me in until (5 days later) Wednesday, not the next day like she originally stated, at that point I was upset because it was my birthday weekend and I really wanted my lashes done, but still I agreed to the Wednesday appointment. Fast forward to Wednesday, I get a call/voicemail from the same women an hour before my appointment saying she had to cancel my appointment time YET AGAIN. At this point I'm beyond upset, mostly because ONCE AGAIN had to get someone to watch my baby FOR NOTHING! I have a hectic life, and I make appointments and arrangements for a reason! I just can't believe I got cancelled on twice in less than a week (with little notice)! At that point I didn't even bother to call back to reschedule, for what? To set a new appointment, find a baby sitter, and be cancelled on a third time? NO THANKS! Lessons learned. Who knows, she might do good work, but I never got the opportunity to find out. Caro finally replied my text and I showed up 5 mins before my first session. Ste 130 is a bit hard to find because the rooms aren't numbered properly. Please allocate extra time as you might need to walk around. Caro is sweet and I explained to her about my experience with microneedling. She doesn't use any numbing cream and I was quite nervous. The previous sessions with others were all with numbing cream and cream were usually on for 15 mins before the procedure. I felt some pain even with the cream. So I didn't know what to expect when she said she didn't use that. Turned out hers is a much milder touch and I didn't feel anything the entire time. I haven't had microneedling for 6 months and thought this is a good way to ease I to it. My face isn't red nor tight post treatment. Let's hope it is effective!

But this last time she glue in my eye so bad, I had to open my eye during the session to relieve some stinging pain. When I left my left eye was completely red and swollen. The next day when I woke up I had muscus coming out and I had a stye on the lower eyelid. I rushed to my family practitioner and he said I had a infection and prescribed me eye antibiotics ointment. Now I texted Mai about this situation and asked for my money back and she didn't not want to give me my money back. She said 1) My eyes were red due to glue fumes and I should buy Visine 2) She told me to go back to her so she could take off my eyelashes. Why would go I back to her?!? So she can make my eye worse! Came in, the staff was welcoming but kept trying to upcharge me which is normal. it's a business. I used Natalie was super professional and efficient. At the beginning, I was told I was getting a "first time customer" discount and would pay $90. At the end, I was charged $110 and when I asked they said "oh that stylist charges an extra $20." I had never heard of that before but it was no big deal and added an extra $10 as a tip bringing it to $120. the next time & came in was January, and I used the same stylist, but without the discount I was charged $130. I added an extra $10 for Natalie as a tip and went on my way. then came February and I came in a week before my wedding. I specifically came in early in case there was any irritation in my eyes so there would be time for it to go away. I used the same stylist, Natalie, who had done nicely the first 2 times so naturally i trusted her with my wedding look. after the service I came out to pay and they charged me $250. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. I was shocked. I asked the young ladies at the counter why it was $250, they said because that's the price. ok.. I asked for the price breakdown. they pulled out a menu and just started pointing at random things on it and acted confused when I said "that doesn't add up to $250". I told them I had paid $130 just 4 weeks prior, they opened my accounts and verified it. then told me I still had to pay $250. I asked for a manager, they said she wasn't there but they would call her. they got her on the phone and I could literally hear her speaking rudely about me on the phone asking why I wasn't agreeing to pay. I asked to speak with her and told her that the price I was being charged wasn't adding up based on what I'd paid before. she then claimed that I was given a discounted price I said I was not and that when I paid $130, the price had been broken down for me and there were no discounts. i handed the phone back to the young ladies behind the counter and over heard her saying "Well either way she needs to pay $250." No one was able to breakdown the price for me, no one was willing to. my budget for my wedding lashes was $150, I ended up paying $250 and the funny thing is I called some weeks later just to test a theory and asked what the cost of lashes with Natalie was and guess what the price was? $125. Crooks. this location is run by weirdo crooks. it's 2024, I've never been back there since.
