I started coming to this spot in December of 2022. I tried them out because my wedding was coming up and I wanted to know who I was going to for lashes. Came in, the staff was welcoming but kept trying to upcharge me which is normal. it's a business. I used Natalie was super professional and efficient. At the beginning, I was told I was getting a "first time customer" discount and would pay $90. At the end, I was charged $110 and when I asked they said "oh that stylist charges an extra $20." I had never heard of that before but it was no big deal and added an extra $10 as a tip bringing it to $120. the next time & came in was January, and I used the same stylist, but without the discount I was charged $130. I added an extra $10 for Natalie as a tip and went on my way. then came February and I came in a week before my wedding. I specifically came in early in case there was any irritation in my eyes so there would be time for it to go away. I used the same stylist, Natalie, who had done nicely the first 2 times so naturally i trusted her with my wedding look. after the service I came out to pay and they charged me $250. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. I was shocked. I asked the young ladies at the counter why it was $250, they said because that's the price. ok.. I asked for the price breakdown. they pulled out a menu and just started pointing at random things on it and acted confused when I said "that doesn't add up to $250". I told them I had paid $130 just 4 weeks prior, they opened my accounts and verified it. then told me I still had to pay $250. I asked for a manager, they said she wasn't there but they would call her. they got her on the phone and I could literally hear her speaking rudely about me on the phone asking why I wasn't agreeing to pay. I asked to speak with her and told her that the price I was being charged wasn't adding up based on what I'd paid before. she then claimed that I was given a discounted price I said I was not and that when I paid $130, the price had been broken down for me and there were no discounts. i handed the phone back to the young ladies behind the counter and over heard her saying "Well either way she needs to pay $250." No one was able to breakdown the price for me, no one was willing to. my budget for my wedding lashes was $150, I ended up paying $250 and the funny thing is I called some weeks later just to test a theory and asked what the cost of lashes with Natalie was and guess what the price was? $125. Crooks. this location is run by weirdo crooks. it's 2024, I've never been back there since. read more

I've been going to Amazing Lash Studio for years. Staff is professional and the establishment is always clean. To keep everyone safe, they have you check in from your car. You're temperature is taken upon arrival and they give you lash wash and hand soap before you're seen. Ask for Nguyen, she's gets me in and out and my lashes stay for 3 to 4 weeks. Today was my first time coming to Amazing Lash Studio & I am an awe! The moment that I walked through the door, the three receptionists welcomed me with open arms. They made sure that I felt comfortable and offered me water and snacks. As I was waiting for lash technician, I was amazed at how beautiful the studio was. Luz was my lash stylist today and she did such a beautiful job!! Before our session began, she made sure that I was comfortable by providing me a pillow and a blanket. The atmosphere of the room was very soothing and I felt like I was in a spa! As we began, Luz asked me what kind of lashes I wanted, and I had the choice between 4 options. I decided to go with the Gorgeous-Volume Style plus the longest length of 15; 6-D. The session only took an hour and a half which was perfect for me! She was very gentle and I did not feel any pain throughout the whole process. read more

BEST PEOPLE EVER!!! I had gotten my lashes done at a different salon and needed a removal. Amazing Lash Studio lived up to its name and removed them for me as well as gave my lashes a much needed lash bath. I was so worried my OG lashes would be hurt but they were so gentle and amazing my lashes didn't suffer at all. They also gave me honest recommendations on how to best care for my lashes while we wait for a chemical burn from the previous salon to go away. Some of you may say it's pricey but honestly it is so worth it. I have never met people who cared so much about my lashes and for something as special as our eyes the price is def worth it- especially if you get the membership! I am so thankful for the techs there y'all saved my eyes and gave my lashes much needed love. read more

I went in to try out lash extensions for the very first time today! This was something I've always wanted to try out to save up time on my makeup routine, but was always a bit hesitant because I love wearing strip lashes. I was referred to come to this location by a good friend, and I was not disappointed! Walking into the store is automatically really welcoming, the three receptionists in the front give you a warm welcome and are willing to help you out with anything you need. One of the receptionists, Rozi, helped me out and gave me very clear explanations of the different types of lashes and styles I can get (super sweet gal!). I came into this kind of lost and not really sure what to get so this helped give me a good idea. I got my lashes done by Luz, and she was super friendly and attentive! She made sure I was comfortable, and was really gentle while working on my eyes. I honestly just showed her some pictures of what I was looking for, and she just handled it for me! I got my extension on valentine's day and didn't give a review right away because I want to make sure to give a fair review. Therefore, after 4days later, I'd say this place is THE BEST for lash extensions. Not clumpy. Your natural natural lashes DOES NOT fall off (unless naturally of course). Everyone is amazing!!! I came in needing a 30 minute touch up after getting a refill a week earlier. The girl that saw me told me it must have been more than 10 days so I would need a full set and had to pay for for a full set price. I did not need a full set just a touch up since it was one week after my refill. I told her that and she went to go check the system again and saw I did go just a week ago for a refill. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to go back to the location where they did my refill a week ago so they can redo my lashes. Granted, I went to this location since it's 15 minutes away from my job vs the one towards my house was an hour away and would not make it in time to drive over there for a 30 minute touch up. She seemed like she didn't want to do my lashes. Not sure what her name was but I remember she had curly hair and had her hair up that day I visited. I went to the other location in Katy Freeway (bunker hill) after this incident on the same day, and they took me right in and were able to do a 30 minute touch up with no problem at all. I was a bit hesitant to leave the River Oaks studio that I've been attending for months, but the Voss location is right next to my new residence. I was easily put on the schedule and oh. my. goodness. Nanci is the kindest person ever. She was so sweet. She talked to me about lash care and what I can do better, without making me feel bad for "not doing it right." I'm encouraged to take better care of my lashes. And she spent a lot of time fixing some clumps and making the volume 6d look AMAZING. I'm so grateful for Nanci and can highly recommend the Voss location of Amazing Lash Studio. My lashes have not lasted more than 2 weeks and by the third week I almost have to get a full set. They were blaming it on my lashes saying that it's because my lashes are weak. Yes they are weak because of the amount of lashes and lashes used on there. My last visit my eyes were hiring because the technician was heavy handed with the glue. I decided enough was enough and took my business over to Lashes by Ann where my lashes have lasted up to 4 weeks and looked incredible. I am so much happier with the results there and will NEVER come back to amazing lashes again. read more

Great experience at Amazing today! I usually like to hop around and try new lash places, but not many are memorable enough for me to come back to usually...but my experience with Luz today changes that! I appreciated that she had the pillow that goes under your knees while laying there, as some places don't have this, making it uncomfortable for a fidgety person like me. She made it so relaxing there that I fell asleep...and I never do this! She was gentle and quick, and the little head massage at the end was the perfect surprise bonus. My lashes are light, yet full. I enjoyed this place for almost 2 years. ViVi was my lash tech, her availability changed to weekends. It was hard to get an appointment with her if it wasn't 3 weeks in advance. So I attempted a few other lash techs, worse thing I could have done. I started noticing I couldn't brush through them properly. My brow lady notified me that my lashes were all stuck and glued to each other. She took pictures for me. I was horrified. My issue is the "customer service" this establishment has. It doesn't exist. I called to notify them what happened. Being a loyal customer I assumed they'd take care of me. What a joke. They just want your money, they don't care about you as an individual. I requested for them to remove the lashes because I was fearful I didn't have any left. They told me I was have to cover the CHARGE! That doesn't make any sense?! They screwed up but want me to pay? I eventually caved and decided to pay because I wanted my lashes healthy. I froze my account for 6 months, I wasn't sure if I wanted to give them another try. A month after I signed a termination paper. But of course 6 months later they charged me again, and claim "they don't have record" of it. Why am I not surprised :) read more

Bought a Groupon several weeks ago to try eyelash extensions for fun. I was assigned Anna as my stylist (you can also request one!). When it came time to choose the style of lashes, the poster of clip-art eye drawings didn't help so I asked my stylist for suggestions. Since I wanted longer, fuller lashes she recommended the Gorgeous set but since it was my first time she used a shorter length. The entire process was simple, ~50 mins of me laying down with my eyes closed. Before starting, Anna brought a fleece blanket so I wouldn't get cold from the AC and shorts I had on that day (so nice!). I started to fall asleep while she was gluing lashes to my left eye and twitched a bit. I blame the warm blanket and the background classical music lol. It's why my left set wasn't picture perfect like my right but it was still good. Also no glue clumps! Even with the Groupon an entire set will run ~$100 (including tip). I've had mine now for 3 weeks but they're starting to thin out. However I'm pleased that they do last for awhile. read more

When I decided to start getting lash extensions, I visited Amazing Lash Studio at Voss where I was given a detailed explanation of the process including visuals of the different length options and styles. During my first service my stylist Vivian helped me pick out a length that was suitable for me to be able to wear my glasses without issues. The prices are good (well compared to the San Francisco Bay Area). They have a first time special for a full-set $79. The downgrade is due to the reception/appointment staff who is extremely unknowledgable and quite frankly dumb and not helpful. The eyelash technicians use way too much tape all over your eyes so there is a lot of discomfort. The results however are really nice and long lasting. read more

Amazing Lash Voss location is the best. During this continued unknown time they have taken precautions to ensure their clients and staff are safe at all times. You answer questions prior to confirming your appointment and again before being seen for your appointment. When you arrive you send a text to let them know. They then ensure there is no one in the waiting area etc before allowing you to come in. Masks are required to be worn by clients at all times. All staff are wearing face masks and gloves. Additionally, the stylists have a mask, a face guard and gloves. They open the door for you and once you enter they take your temperature and then provide you with hand sanitizer to ensure you are "good" before touching other things. Next, you are provided with foaming cleanser for your lashes and soap for your hands. You take both to the bathroom to clean your lashes and hands before your appointment. Everything is thrown away and cleaned in between. Next, at your stylists area everything is wiped down and no blankets available. Everything felt, appeared, and was clean/sanitary from my experience. Nguyen is the best and I recommend her as a stylist. She is always very cautious with her work and makes sure I am comfortable. After the appointment everything remained contact free such as the receipt being available via email. The extra steps Amazing Lash has taken put me at ease. If you are hesitant or nervous like I was prior to my appointment please know Amazing Lash is doing what they can and be at ease by knowing what to expect. Go check them out! read more

Not only was it unacceptable that customers & stylists were displaced but they chose to change monthly rates without any advance notice. This happened right when they reopened. I might have been able to overlook a temporary situation. I wasn't jumping to cancel, even though I was inconvenienced. The simple lack of concern for the clients, especially the ones that have been around for years, is disheartening. Went in yesterday. I asked for sensitive glue and I end up with bloodshot eyes. After doing much research about it, I came to a conclusion that I had chemical pink eye. I called in to ask if I should get them removed and she said that it's not pink eye and that I would need to pay $25 to get them removed. This is really unacceptable, the store should be giving me the refund of my full set. read more

I have been going here for 2 years now and I honestly don't know why I keep going back. Probably because of the convenient location to my job. 8 out of 10 refills are not done right. I have had to go back multiple times for corrections. So I went in today for a refill and upon check out I was told my fee is $10 more because I used a master stylist. The lady was like " OH didn't anyone tell you?" Then she points to the sign. The sign that wasn't there when I checked out. There were 2 clipboards on the counter when I signed in and I am 200% sure that sign wasn't there. I told her I shouldn't have to pay for a new policy that they didn't make me aware of. They didn't give me a chance to decide if I wanted a master stylists or not. I honestly don't care who does the lashes. I used the same lady the last time and within a week the corners of my eyelid were empty. So I really don't know why she is a master. I asked to speak to a manager and she came and she too said she wasn't able to waive the $10. She said it was a policy they posted a month ago that was effective April 25th. Well I got my lashes done 3 weeks ago and that sign wasn't there either. I went ahead and paid because I am not trying to get arrested for not paying for services. But their corporate office would hear from me. Thankfully, this is the last month on my membership. read more

This is the first time I have ever gotten my eyelash extensions! When I went in, the lobby was very crowded with just one receptionist. When she was done with the phone with a customer, she was very sweet and greeted me with a smile. I did wait for 25 mins before my stylist came and got me. My stylist was Lily. She is very soft spoken, but nice. She didn't really help with choosing lashes. They apparently customize it and they don't have pictures of what the lashes results look like. They have 4 categories; natural, cute, sexy and gorgeous. I told her I wanted something long and full. She recommended for me to get gorgeous and so I did. It took at least an hour for her to finish me and it didn't hurt or sting or anything! It was actually relaxing! So when she finished, she told me how to care for them and gave me a mirror to look. I was in complete shock! I love my new lashes! And I would definitely come back to refill them but since it's a bit pricey, I don't think I would do it unless its for a huge event! Don't pay $250! They have specials for $79, $99 and so on! My overall experience here was great. I have nothing to complain and my lashes looks literally gorgeous! I've been meaning to write a review on this place for a while and finally am getting the time to do so. I have a love-hate relationship with Amazing Lash. I have been coming here for about a year and Hang was my technician- she was promoted and recommended a few techs before she left. HATES- I hate the fact that they put you on hold forever to finally get an appointment. Whenever I call, I'm on hold for at least 9 minutes. My work schedule is finicky and I don't like to schedule my next appointment when I leave, especially since there is a charge for CHANGING AND CANCELLING- a lot of people do not know that! They have many groupon, bloomspot, etc. deals and I feel it's unfair for the people that have been going for a while, just makes it seem that they don't really care about clients only generating business- not even repeat business at that LOVES- love the way my lashes look. I can go almost a whole month without getting a refill. They look really natural and the process is painless. Whenever I'm there, I take a long nap and wake up feeling beautified. All in all, this place is ok. You have to make sure your tech is right for you and knows how to put the lashes on. read more

Of course they said I need to come back tomorrow, really you can just honor your business hours posted on your door. I won't be going here and will contribute to support small business. This is my updated review on Amazing Lash Studio. After my last experience there I said I was NEVER going to go back... then someone at Amazing Lash called me. I told them about my experience they were very sympathetic and offered me a free service to give them another chance. I told her that my eyes were too messed up last time and that I didn't think I would want to go back and chance that again. I let her know that I thought it was the gel pads really hurt my eyes. She told me that they could use paper tape and that is what they do for people who cannot handle the gel pads. So, since they offered me solution I though... why not... I'll give em one more try... I mean, other than my eyes looking like I was turning into a werewolf... my lashes looked AMAZING!!! AND it was going to be free to boot... so I wouldn't be out any money. I made my appointment on Friday and went in to Saturday... I was a bit nervous... but not terrified because I have been getting my lashes done for quite a while now. When I got there I only had to wait a very short amount of time before they called me back. Carol did my lashes. I told her what had happened before and even showed her pictures of my red scary eyes. She told me that she would use the paper tape and if my eyes started hurting or burning to let her know. Almost all the way thought my right eye I felt that familiar sting. Then more and more... I told Carol about it and she told me that she was almost finished... so I told her to go ahead and finish that eye since she was almost done. It was burning pretty good by the time she was done... but she did remove the tape right away and that seemed to give me a little relief. She then started on the left eye. Not even 1/2 way thought the left eye did it start burning. I told her and she handed me a hand held fan... that seemed to help somewhat. She did finish fairly quickly... so I was pretty much in and out of there. When I sat up... my eyes were still burning fairly bad... but I thought it was just from the fumes. I sat there for a few minutes longer just waiting for the stinging to stop. After it stopped enough for me to open my eyes for more than a second... I took a look at my lashes. I wasn't really that impressed... the time I had them done before... they were MUCH better. But at this point there wasn't anything I could do about it. There was NO WAY I was going to let them touch my eyes again. I left and my eyes weren't really SUPER red... but they were hurting. By that evening they were itching and blood red AGAIN! The only thing I can figure is that I have some kind of allergic reaction to something they use there. I don't know if it was the paper tape or the glue that they use. I've never asked them what kind of glue they use... but I have been reading up on it lately because I wanted to know how to treat my very red, itchy, swollen eyes... and from what I've read... it said that some places use cheaper glue and it has more formaldehyde that will irritate your eyes. I do not know if Amazing Lash uses cheap glue... but I am pretty sure that it is the glue that is hurting my eyes. Last time this happened to me... it was over a week before my eyes were even close to being back to normal... I just hope it doesn't take that long this time. read more

Please please and i reiterate please don't book for Mai. That senior stylist fee is a waste of money and she is utterly rude. Extremely the worst customer service characterization.Thank God for a very proactive manager, Katrina for making sure my complain gets addressed. My worst experience in this location. Who the h*ll is labeled as senior stylist but complains all throughout the 45 minute refill process that my previous lash refill was 'too much mess'. If you don't like what you're doing, get a freakin desk job and stop complaining. She was telling me she cannot fix the right set of lashes and only the left. Which implies I get an uneven job. After telling her to please even out both sets of lashes, she gives out an attitude that it's too much work. Girl, get a new job or something.
