Their documentary style adds so much movement and feeling to photos, which is what we were hoping for as we didn't book any videography for our day. Like I said from the first call, "can all our wedding photos look like stills from a movie?" (and yes, turns out they very much can! And they're stunning!) From the start I feel Erika truly understood what we were going for: none of the old-fashioned, stuffy posed portraits we've taken at so many weddings in the past. Instead she captures people as they are, together, with their loved ones and acting authentically themselves. Even her posed shots feel vibrant and alive, and I love the mix of posed and candid photos we received. We still have pics with all the family members we wanted (like grandma), but so much of what we're seeing captures our guests experiencing this day with joy and laughter.
