The staff at Faces and Lashes (now called Dermacrave) were nice and friendly. One of the staff (Patrice) made sure to explain the procedures with detail. They offer variety of services including RF micro needling and Microtox. The experience was great. They made me comfortable during the entire process. Their clinic was clean and they have a newly renovated lobby. Booking for an appointment was easy. They really accommodate your schedule. I personally live in Orange County area but did not bother to drive all the way to Rancho Cucamonga. I would say the service was topnotch because of how they really take good care of their clients. I wanted a facial. I was not interested in medi-services. When making the appt Dane asked me what kind of facial I wanted. I responded, what do you recommend for me, I'm in my 50's. She said DEP. I asked what it was- she said it's just a small part of the traditional facial and she explained what the machine does. She sent a screen shot with the amount for DEP. I said sure. Skip to the day of, my impression of the space is that it's shabby, and didn't look sterile. The room was layed out oddly. I've had lots of great facials. They always have you take off your top/bra to address décolleté - they didn't here. With other facials the lighting is low, usually ambient music plays, equipment is ready to go inc a lamp with magnifier and a steamer. None of that was present. The massage table was pushed against the wall so my right side was pressed to the wall. The bright overhead lights were never turned off. Loud conversations were happening in the hall right outside my room, and the technician left the room about 7 times. Why? I think they were sharing every bit of equipment. It was unprofessional. While the tech was very nice, her facial was like a child pretending to do a facial. There was no mirroring of actions on each side of the face, no precision whatsoever. She asked if I wanted any extractions. I said, iDK, do I need any?! She's looking at my skin! I've never been asked by anyone before. The DEP thing took maybe 8-10 min. It was a bad environment and they have no business offering facials if this is representative of their facials. Then when I went to pay the $150 Dane quoted, they said it was $250. DEP was an add-on, but Dane never presented it that way. I have texts that very clearly show this. So beware of add-one you may not want!! I regret that I didn't catch on sooner and that I didn't ask more questions. I thought maybe DEP was a type of facial I'd never heard of, or that it was how they branded their European facial. I also regret not walking out within the first 2min. But I didn't trust my gut, and I had a $150 gift certificate. So watch out for add-ons and dishonest tactics. Btw, I reached out to them to discuss. Dane acted like she didn't get my point and then Told me I "actually got a $25/ discount". But even all that aside, the facilities are awful, ambiance sucks, and it was thru worst facial I've ever had. read more

I've been coming to Faces and Lashes for a year and a half now and have tried most of their treatments, including regular facials, NIR, DEP,PRP, HIFU, and more. They consistently do an amazing job. I highly recommend Patrice--she's incredibly knowledgeable and has such a gentle touch. As someone who's afraid of needles, she always makes me feel comfortable and guides me through each process with care. I always feel safe and at ease with her. Recently, due to stress from work and life, I developed cystic acne on my chin. Patrice recommended a combination of probe treatment, NRF, and microtox to target the issue, and I've been amazed by how quickly the acne cleared up. Well after I was stood up for my initial appointment, the owner, assistant, and technician reached out to me apologizing for the inconvenience. Apparently the technician that was assigned to do my lashes had a hospital emergency. Since I am such an understanding person, I am updating my rating to four stars. The company didn't charge my card after their mistake and they offered me 15 dollars off of my next appointment. Although I don't plan on coming back, their persistence with trying to fix their mistake shows great customer service and accountability. I honestly think it was just a mistake on their part. The lashes done look beautiful and I'm not sure if it's just my eyelashes or what but after the first day they fell out of both right & left eye. (I was very careful care wise and didn't touch anything to my face or get them wet) Cynthia was amazing customer service wise and got me in next day to have them fixed and I tipped her for the kindness of fixing them. Again, was so happy to have them in again as I have only had lashes once before, six years ago, and the experience was horrible. Here I am on Monday (fix was Friday) and my left lashes have gaps in between. While I can tolerate them I don't think that it's normal to have lashes falling out so quick or in such big sections? But correct me if I'm wrong. Can't get an appt with them for weeks and am about to give birth with gapped eyelashes on one eye that shouldn't be gapped. So sad. Pics are of day 1 and day 3. I had an appointment with Josie for eyelash extensions and I asked for them to specifically be long in the middle of the eye, I did not want a winged look. She told me she was going to make it wispy but it just turned out sloppy and uneven. I was told it would take about 2 hours although it took 4 and within an hour after I left lashes were already falling off, all on their own!! Within 2 days I lost more than 50 lashes....I didn't even wear mascara for an entire week to prep. So disappointed, I did not get what I paid for. They have you sign a consent form so you can't possibly receive a refund no matter what sort of quality they give you. Josie did offer to"fix" them but she would of had to remove them and then re due it since the way she mapped it out wasn't what I wanted and there were long lashes all over. I didn't have time to wait another 4 hours before the event I was getting ready for was coming up so I had them removed. I paid 120 and had tipped her 30....I feel like they are only in it for money since they could of politely refunded me in this situation and even kept the tip! Definitely not thinking of their clients or prospective clients. If you do get lashes here btw only go to the 2 who are lash certified which isn't Josie. My eyes still burn after she removed them yesterday. read more
