I do do appreciate her desire to meet my expectations. The honey wax the salon uses is quite nice. It is a quick setting wax that grasps the hair but not your skin. She was very attentive to the few stragglers that attempted to stay behind. Gold star for the OCD attention to this type of detail. I'm looking forward to using Delaney again soon. NOTE...If you are planning to use the first time wax discount, be prepared to provide proof of Texas residency. Quite a challenge for those new to the area or visiting. So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. I have never had a Brazilian before, but really wanted to try it, and didn't want to risk losing any of my skin in such a private place. Malak is very kind and helpful, and very efficient. She takes her time to makes sure all the hair is gone as quickly and as pain free as possible. Was it pain free? No! Parts of it was painful, but not as painful as I thought it would be. The sugar felt rather nice and really exfoliating on the skin. I also did the underarms, and I must say my armpits have never been this smooth! I will never shave my underarms again.
