The Librarians are friendly and helpful. They do a great job arranging a special display of books, from themes to the newest books in. When they don't have the book I'm looking for, they almost always get it in via interlibrary loan.

I had to leave a message, but my call was returned promptly by a lovely lady with a bucketload of information. When we moved it, it turned out the former owner had taken the trash container with them. (who does that???) So we called again, and once again we got a prompt and friendly resolution and a brand new bin was delivered the next day.

Over the last year, i've rented several things from them and always had a good experience. They even gave me a "Welcome to Powhatan" T-Shirt when they found out I was new! They have solid equipment and they are very knowledgeable about it. But I also appreciate that they are willing to offer suggestions with my landscaping or minor construction challenges when i am out of ideas. In fact, the owners of PRC are VERY helpful, going out of their way to help me get my work done. Once when I paid for a half day rental of a bobcat and wasn't quite finished by closing, the owner actually came by and picked up the thing half an hour after they closed rather than force me to pay for an extra day. THAT is service I can appreciate.
