She brought a bottle with the writing Tianjin pear juice (Master Kong Pear Juice, Google it). I asked her what it meant, she said special Chinese herbs to remove hair. I asked her how do you translate them, she said she didn't know (really??) Then I asked her is it Nair or similar to it? She said no, that it removes hair from the roots anyway, and will permanently remove if applied long term. When she applied to my back, I felt a cooling sensation just like with Nair, and it SMELLED JUST LIKE NAIR. She scraped it off, showed me a little bit of residue (which looked just like NAIR, and said everything was taken care of. When I was paying at the door, once again my next red flag went up: the business card did not say Tiantian, something like Jasmine Spa, claiming the ownership changed. The following afternoon I could already feel stubble coming out of my back. I'm reporting them to FTC, BBB, and Clark Howard. I hope more people see it and their deceptive practices bite them back hard!
