Delicious food. A must if you're looking for healthy food. I was able to visit three times while in Berlin! We came twice for breaky and once for a late lunch. The first time it took awhile to get our breaky, but our coffees held us over. This is when we started talking to another couple at the table also waiting for their food. This restaurant has a sharing table policy and sometimes you sit with unknown people, not to say you are obligated to socialize but it's a nice way to meet new people. It's a small cozy cafe so you have to be patient especially if it's busy. I believe somewhere on the menu it even states food prep may take awhile because they don't make it in bulk. The staff was always friendly and quick to come to the tables to take our orders. There is one small bathroom in the back, so if you're table is right next to the door it can be a little annoying with people passing you every few minutes as you're eating. I found the food to be delicious and beautifully presented every single time. I did notice the bowls and some plates had a few chips on the rim, but no one was complaining about it so guess it's part of the charm of this place. If you have room try one of the coco anjélas, not exactly sure what it's made of but we tried two different ones and it was so yummy. Very nice breakfast place that was ran by a single lady. I ordered an egg white omlette and she was surprised and made a funny look when I just wanted egg whites alone (I am allergic to egg yolk). There was another customer next to us that overheard my order and wanted the same thing but she was too afraid to ask so she had just ordered a coffee. My cousin ordered cured meats, cheeses and a bread basket.The food was good and very flavorful. My only gripe was that we had to go to the counter a few times to get her attention since she was busy and there were other customers. All in all, solid breakfast spot! read more

It's a pleasure reviewing the food for places like Factory Girl, especially when food is so full of details to point out The "Eggs And More" are more than normal scramble eggs. I appreciate the 'not identical' cooking of the 3 eggs; some pieces are a little more raw, some well done. The choice of the pepper is the best detail of this plate: it looks too much at a first glance but its flavour is very delicate. Then the ham, not too strong in taste, not too much in quantity, is giving some points of salty here and there to the dish The thoughtful combination of tastes together with the pure love of doing things, is what convinced me in this place "Sicilian" sandwich looks like a common sandwich but the masterpiece here is a sweet curry sauce, incredibly gentle, which gives a unique balance to the whole taste. I don't remember myself enjoying a sandwich this unusual and good I didn't appreciate too much fruits in the orange juice. The cappuccino was ok The place is not super big, but considering this quality I could not image this place to be any bigger 4 stars because when you ask your customers to leave the table, you should use the best smile you have. It says on their menu and on the reviews that a Magnolia is their famous dessert. When I asked for one and showed them the Yelp Check-In Offer for a free Magnolia, I was told there are no Magnolias today. I find it odd and hard to believe that a famous item in their menu is not available. I personally did not mind paying. I just wish that Yelp would stop giving out offers that are not fulfilled. It ruins the experience. By the way, the food in Factory Girl was just ok. I had the tasting platter which was ok. My wife had the bacon omelette, and it was bad and forgettable. I had a great experience here and could recommend this place for a simple meal. I ordered the non-meat cheese platter as starter and thought there was a great selection of delicious cheese, spreads, and bread. The butter was especially amazing coming from America where most butter just doesn't taste this good. For my main meal, I ordered the Sicilian sandwich, which I thought was a great sized sandwich for lunch as long as you also share an appetizer with someone (otherwise a bit on the smaller end, compared to American sandwiches). I blame the 3 stars that I am giving on the delicious looking pictures of the scramble eggs that Yelpers have posted. I felt like they have butchered the eggs by overcooking it to the point of no return. It was quite dry and a little difficult to eat. Most of the other stuff on the menu are served rather than prepared. By that I mean, cheese is sliced up, cured meats are nicely cut and vegetables are well dressed in dressing. While it all tasted delicious, it wasn't like it needed extensive preparation to transform the ingredients. This place has a hippie and cool atmosphere. Our host was cheery, colourful and extremely nice. The seating is very comfortable and inviting. In the greater context of the rather mundane food scene in Berlin, I would say this place is good and a worthy visit. However, there's really nothing to rave about. Though, this place is amazing if you are looking for a nice place to hang out on the lazy weekend afternoon. FYI, for all tourists out there you will need a working phone to pay with a credit card as you are required to receive a confirmation text message. Otherwise, bring cash. read more

Been there with a friend of mine. We loved the food and the drinks. We had the house salad, it was colourful, fresh an yummy. I had lovely yoghurt dink with fresh mint in it. The cherry crumble is also to die for. What we don´t like is that the menu very small, it doesn´t mention the other dishes and drinks they offer and the furniture looks like it was thrown out by others on the street and then picked up and brought to the cafe. I don't eat breakfast, and I don't like eggs. I had breakfast here, and it was a dish with eggs in it, but the way it was prepared was so good that I not only enjoyed it, I loved it. And it was *super* cheap(at least relative to NYC, all of the food in Berlin is so incredibly cheap compared to NYC). The Warhol-ish pop art everywhere was very cool, and very befitting of street art laden Berlin. I bought a Boba Fett pop-art postcard made by a local Berlin artist. The free wi-fi was very useful.
