I believe someone could be having a bad day or not feeling well or just make a mistake resulting in a bad work performance. Which for me is understandable and I will just have a good laugh and life goes on, no big deal. But... yesterday I drove around the oval and I noticed that Arthurs Barber Shop is still in business and I felt compelled to write this review, hoping to bring awareness to this community so they can avoid that place at any cost. Last year I walked into that place and I asked the gentleman who works there for a simple haircut. my hair is fairly curly and I understand some people could have a hard time working on it whilst experienced Barbers have fun doing so because they can do all kinds of fun things such as fade ins and all kinds of designs etc. So to make things simple I asked for a simple haircut. What I got though was the worse haircut I ever had. he literally ruined my hair and when I politely mentioned that it looked uneven he said,"thats how your hair is, nothing I can do about it." To avoid an argument I paid the guy, even gave him a tip and went back to work to be the joke of the day until I borrowed a hat from a friend and was able to cover the ridiculous work he did on my hair. I am not picky about anything. But it looked so bad that I went home planning on shaving my head. My wife didn't let me and she was able to fix it a little bit. I know theres way more important things in life then getting fancy haircuts. but when someone is paying for a service, they expect at least a half decent job. So, Arthur or whatever your name is. Please, close your shop and go work with something else man..Stop ruining peoples days and selling a service that you are clearly not fit to do. Sorry for the long review Folks. He's not trying to sell you products, get you to join a club or retire off a single haircut. It's a great price for a haircut. I'm usually in and out in under 15 minutes. Maybe 20 if there was someone in the chair when I get there. It's great that there's an actual barber shop open on Mondays as most are closed and it's the one day I'm not traveling for work.

It is such a good relaxing experience, in addition shooting the breeze with him is like going to a shrink, barber client attorney privilege .
