Although we did not connect for long, his confidence impressed me a great deal, as much as his intellectual abilities. He got the needed job done and done with as little as stress and worry as can be expected. My boyfriend could not be happier with the outcome and thinks he is great. A lady by the name of Sam who works in his office is very helpful and kind as well. However, for me Debbie, who I think may be his Office Manager is the absolute best! Debbie goes above and beyond anything anyone could ever hoped for. She is not only kind, sympathetic and supportive (a rare find these days in any doctors office) she is compassionate. She took calls when there was no reason for her to except that's how amazing and accessible she was when I just needed to vent. She made time to listen, offer words of encouragement and try to help in any way possible. She is truly the Rock Star! I always receive a call-ahead to confirm my appointment, they estimate within a very close range the actual cost of the procedures (as negotiated by insurance); and, they are genuinely caring. I have met with 3 technicians, the Nurse Practitioner, and the front desk staff. Every interaction has been first-rate. The facility is clean, well-appointed, comfortable; and, the equipment is up-to-date.

A week ago I received a call out of the blue stating I had an appointment on Wed June 12 at 11:15 am. I told the lady I did not make an appointment or need one. She told me I needed to keep this appointment if I wanted to continue to receive my BP meds. I show up to the Heart Drs office on Wed June 12 at 10.57am and was told I did not have an appointment. After arguing with the front receptionist stating i was a little early she told me my appointment was yesterday and I missed it. I asked if I could see someone since I was there and she told me there was no doctors or nurses there. As she was telling me this they were letting another patient go back to the back to be seen by someone....a Doctor I hope and trust. Surely he wasn't going back to be treated by the office manager or janitor. I asked to see the nurse that just came out. I spoke with her and she looked at my details and told me and the office lady that I did not need to be seen until December. A yearly visit is good enough. I still had to argue with the front office lady to make my appointment for 6 months down the road and not 6 days down the road. After I finally made an appointment at the appropriate time and as I was leaving the front office lady informed me that I owed her for an office visit. All the arguing with her and the office manager would not rectify the situation. So I left while they prepared to bill me for an office visit they screwed up. I now need to find another doctor which is really a shame !!! Because I see Shi and she is outstanding. She has been the APRN I have seen since day one and I have always been very pleased. The medical staff is outstanding!!! It is the office staff that takes advantage of those they can.
