The carpet hadn't been cleaned in two years and was showing some distress and clay dirt staining. First of all, Saul is super polite and respectful. He had never cleaned a bass boat before, or a bass boat's carpet. We agreed on a price based on estimated times to do each task. I thought his pricing was very fair and competitive. He arrived when he said he would arrive, bright and early and with his arsenal of cleaning materials and supplies. Throughout the morning I occasionally would watch him work. He was very conscientious of respecting my property and very meticulous in his work. The project took a little longer than anticipated, (a 21 foot bass boat has a lot of carpet and it was very dirty). Both my Durango and my bass boat look awesome! He even applied a wax type of application when he finished cleaning the Durango. Neither of these jobs were a "detail" type of cleaning, but just a normal wash and vacuum (except I added a carpet cleaning for the boat). But his normal wash came out better than some of his competitors' that I have previously used to "detail" our vehicles. I can't wait to get Saul back to do an actual "detailing" and apply a ceramic product to both vehicles and the boat. Based on today's "maintenance cleaning" as he calls it, his detailing will be another level of impressive. My boat carpet looks new again! Heck, the boat looks new again! I just tried the GP car wash for first time in a long time. . …read more I had just finished a $267 oil change on my pickup and decided to make use of the $10 off gift for the service. I watched for 20+ minutes as the kid I was so lucky to get on my truck rubbed the glass off the inside of my door and windshield on the drivers side. He would circle around and touch here and there but always went back for the drivers seat, like he hadn't just rubbed it raw a few seconds before. I did the "#6" high end wash and was expecting at least a thorough attempt at a good job. I know it's not a "detail", but for over $50 bucks, I must say my expectations were a little higher than what I received. What I got was bug guts still on the windshield, hood and grill. Brake dust on the front wheels. Dirty running boards. Vacuumed but not wiped console cup holders and floor mats. However, they did help themselves to my apparently filthy dirty coins that were in the console tray! I guess that's where you're supposed to leave the tip? I am in search of a pay by the month program to try and keep my vehicle clean since I work with clients riding along sometimes. Needless to say, I'm not too comfy moving forward here with a monthly commitment after this kind of result on the first run! I may also need to re-think my oil change spot too; hopefully that work was a little more conscientious. CT
