Nope Then there is a Jeremy Darling saying that I insult them. Since when has a fair evaluation ever been insulting? 98% is excellent so if you want to risk 2% to be questionable aesthetically, structurally and "is this even legal" they'll probably be ok In my case that 2% is a big deal. They are extremely high priced. So with the price tag comes the expectation of awesome high end results. Not my experience.

There were some problems with sub contractors, but the owners tried to make those things right. 5 years later, it feels like every time we turn around we find another problem. Not cosmetic, but problems with the quality of work. Just a few problems have been trim that didn't get put back up under low windows, shelves mounted with the screws in the wrong place, pebbles left under the flooring, I can go on and on. Our most recent was that a shower door just fell off. As my husband looked at it to put it back up, he found that they had mounted the heavy glass door into the shower surround with nothing behind it for the screws to hold to except some glue!!! Efforts to repair this problem found that they mounted the whole shower surround with nothing behind it but the studs. No shower board, Sheetrock or anything!!! The subcontractors cut corners everywhere possible and no one monitored the quality of work. Use the utmost caution if you hire this company and monitor EVERYTHING because they won't.

David and ARS are phenomenal…read more After a hail storm came through and damaged my roof, garage door, and several other pieces of my home, I called him, and he and his team were out to help get started on stuff within a week. He was able to function perfectly as a general contractor -- he has connections everywhere to cover every single thing that you could possibly need done, and he handles it all. He also was able to guide me through the insurance process, including when my adjuster was being difficult (but that's another story). In any case, no matter what work you need done on your home, I would highly recommend you contact David and ARS to get it done. 3 months later, I still hear some of my neighbors getting their roofs repaired, and as far as I can tell, they're not doing as good of a job. His crew was fast, efficient, and respectful. I'm not sure what other great things I can say about ARS. You could take your chances with a random Google listing, or you could call Buford General Contractors and get real professionals. Our job was a complex one. Our house is 40 years old and was suffering considerable wood rot on the deck that had spread into the side of the house. This caused not only a rickety, rotting deck, but water leaks in the house where the wood had rotted through. Not good! What started as a simple deck resurfacing turned into a complex job involving rebuilding the deck stairs, ripping out the old rotten wooden deck surface, replacing it with more durable surfacing that was resistant to rot, and this is the most hairy part.....finding the source of those water leaks and stopping them. One great thing about Buford is that they have great relationships with local subcontractors. If something is not their specialty, they have a Rolodex of numbers they can call for vetted, quality contractors to assist. This job required many specialties, and they coordinated with specialists to give us a great job done the first time. When big storms came after the job and there was still some leaking, they had a man onsite that day who quickly identified the source of an additional leak coming from rotted trim boards above the deck. This was very good and totally not their fault, as the trim boards above the deck were not part of the deck resurfacing, stair rebuilding and wood rot remediation of the deck itself. The price for this additional work was more than fair and it was done quickly and professionally. Seriously, if you live around Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville or HEB, call them. They were always prompt, professional and reasonable. Not too expensive and not too cheap. You get what you pay for, after all.
