That's because from day 1 you receive the personalized attention to your needs that everyone wants, but rarely receives. Initially my conversations and advice came from Bruce. But over time, he built a team of knowledgeable professionals who treated everyone with respect and provided advice that was customized to an individual's needs. I have automobile and homeowners insurance, as well as an umbrella policy. As my policies come up for renewal they are evaluated as to whether I am receiving the coverage I need at a reasonable premium. In my mind the most important thing about insurance is having quality and the appropriate coverage when you have a claim. For more than 15 years my go to person at the agency has been Evelyn. She uses her years of experience and knowledge of the companies in the marketplace to find me the coverage that's best for me and my family. I feel fortunate to have her and the R Bruce Hill Agency as my advocate.

I was told I have get my roof old shingles replaced and a letter provided that the roof is OK or they would cancel my policy. A roofer and new shingles would cost me $3,500 (more than the policy). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the roof of the shingles. They provided me with ZERO explanation on why and how they came to this determination. The roof is not new, but all the shingles are in place and it is in very very good shape. I feel harassed, extorted and mis-treated by the agent Eileen and the Bruce Hill Agency. I would absolutely not recommend going to Bruce Hill Agency in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. I would also not recommend the Bruce Hill Agency in Millburn, NJ based on my Point Pleasant (not so pleasant) experience.

He also quoted me the highest interest rate thus far. During the entire conversation he over talked me, spoke to me with a condescending tone, was dismissive of my questions/concerns regarding the potential loan/process. He couldn't even be bothered to originate a proposed loan quote with a full breakdown of the loan costs/fees and what my monthly payment would be. This is most definitely a huge determining factor regarding which bank/lender is the best fit for me and my needs. When asked for a breakdown of the loan costs, his response was, "I can't give you that answer until closer to closing." It was at this point I knew this isn't a company I choose to do business with and I definitely would not recommend them based off of my interaction with Paul.

My refi was complicated in that I was trying to get my ex's name off of the note and I had a second note I did not want rolled in. There were numerous (about 10 times I had to find various paperwork and explain deposits and payments in my accounts). I have a 760 score on credit which is OK. They extended my rate lock twice and following 3 months of waiting closing was finally completed. It really was a painless process, loan officer Jason Nugent was always timely (within 24 hours, usually within 4) of answering any questions I submitted by e-mail. He also called me on the phone to keep me updated a number of times. Overall I am extremely pleased as out of pocket closing cost was only 1300.00, Quicken quoted 9500.

Since then I have had another agent who is very difficult to get in touch with. When I finally spoke to her about my policies and asked if she could look into saving me some money because my insurance kept going up for no reason. She never got back to me. I shopped around and found much better insurance at a much better price. When my new agent tried to cancel my policy he had a difficult time getting in touch with her.
