Came for the craft beer and dessert pairing, it was a great event with delicious beers and desserts. Fun! Wide variety of strong beers. Great service and personal experience. Took place in the back area. A little chilly in back area but I loved that! Moody and fun.

New to us brewery and what a great find! It's pretty spacious, large bar with lots of seating options. I believe there was even a cornhole competition happening in a large room next to the main bar area. They have a diverse menu of beers and while there was a food truck, we didn't get a chance to try it by the time they left at 8pm. They are very family and dog friendly, both allowed inside and not just out on the patio - haha I opted for a flight which is something I love to do when trying a new brewery, so I can try a multitude of their beers at once. All of them were great! I'm not certain if it is entirely women owned/operated, but it was that night and I loved it!

Great birthday celebration at the craft beer and dessert pairing event! They even sang me happy birthday! Loved it! Delicious beer and desserts, personable hosts, great venue. Will come again and looking forward to next one. Really enjoyed the event and atmosphere.

(the end of) Saison and barely wine. Stopped in after passing daily. Dog friendly, diverse menu, and on site good truck!

Stopped in after passing daily. Dog friendly, diverse menu, and on site food truck! Staff was informative and nice to talk to, the atmosphere is relaxed. Kids, babies, pets, families, a nice brewery for everyone. Also, a few TVs with March Madness playing

Solid tucked away local spot. Plenty of high top seating and some outdoor space and a big garage style door that is open for nice weather. Big pro is dog friendly, also family friendly. Good range of beers on top and some were sold out so you know they're fresh and have locals come They have TVs for sports games, rotating food trucks, and scheduled entertainment from music to trivia and even comedy Overall really enjoyed our time. Very laid back and friendly, don't expect anything over the top but do expect friendly banter from nearby tables

I stopped in the other day for a beer with friends. It is a lovely open space with great beer. I had the Howling Gale IPA and found it smooth and delicious. Service was quick and helpful and La Raza food truck made some nice tacos al pastor to go with the beer. It is a little off the beaten path but worth the trip!

It's a low-key bare bones operation that just happens to make really good beer. I am also a fan of their support for veterans.

This place is my favorite in Northern Virginia. Any of their hoppy beers are great and the saison and dark beers are great too.

It gets really busy, so it is normal to have to wave a bartender down to order. However, they are very good about making rounds and asking if you are good to go or need anything. For a bar, The food and selection of food is very good. They have a great variety of options and everything I have tried so far has been great. Pizza, boneless wings, the hummus!, the sliders and tacos. All very good. If an order is wrong, they will make it right. I ordered boneless wings (half buffalo and half lemon pepper). They gave me whiskey pepper instead of the lemon. I told the bartender and he said he would take care of it. They brought me a whole order of lemon pepper wings on top of the ones I already had. Great customer service.

Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more I love Belgian beer, and Cock and Bowl is my favorite place to nab some of this great nectar. This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.

We also sat at the waterfront, which was pleasant since the weather was mild that evening. The area itself is so very quaint and beautiful. My husband and I took a short stroll after dinner to take in the beautiful architecture. I highly recommend this area. The area does charge an additional tax; the Town of Occoquan adds its own meals tax of 3.5% to food and meals sold by restaurants within the town limits. That money goes to the Town of Occoquan, rather than being the ordinary Virginia sales tax.

The corn fritter appetizer with hot honey was good. The fish sandwich and crab sandwich (on stale, grill pressed brioche) were just edible and extremely overpriced. This is the first time I couldn't bite through a potato chip!!! When the server finally came back to ask how our food was, and I tried to explain why it was inedible, I was at loss for the right word and he provided it - stale. Guessing this was not the first time he'd had a complaint, but to his credit, he brought each of us an order of onion rings "on the house" (why that would be I don't know since the chips were included with the sandwich - probably an up charge substitution). They were hot but not much else to recommend them. The venue was kind of musty and though we were seated at a window as requested for the river view, the middle window was so dirty you couldn't really see clearly through it. For a downtown riverfront Occoquan location, this was shockingly horrible.
