Friendly staff, good beer. Tucked away in an industrial park where Forge Brewery used to be. Galaxy themed interior. Industrial vibe

LORTON, Va. - A solid 4-star experience - some good beers, fine ambience. It's in a little industrial park, and signage is so-so. From the outside, you'd think it's one of those places that just brews, no retail. But go in, there's a handful of tables and a bar. Staff really helpful and pleasant. Got a flight of the kolsch, marzen and Hefeweizen ($3 each) and a taste of the nitro stout. I'd get a pint of the kolsch or Hefeweizen. Perfectly good. Parking is a little unclear - lot of spaces but you don't want go park in front of the other businesses there. Will return.

This is a hole in the wall type brewery that is hidden away. The beer was pretty solid and the service was wonderful. Would definitely return to this brewery!

I'll start off by saying that the atmosphere, staff, owner/brewer and just the overall feel of the place is great. I got to speak with the owner and he was just about the friendliest guy in the world. I'll be sure to come back when they brew some other ales, but I couldn't find a beer that I loved. I mainly drink IPA's and stouts. The Interstellar that they had there just didn't have enough of a hop punch for me. I did a flight of all the beers they offer and I know that many people will enjoy the lager, the scotch ale and the pale ale. The wheat beer had way too much carbonation but there's potential in it. I'll go back and edit my review at a later date, this is just a first reaction based on one day-- I think this place faces some challenges in regard to location too. They're surrounded by mechanic shops and parking is weird. I parked my car between two junked vehicles because that was my only option...

While we don't live in the area, we love coming up. We have been coming long enough to see a few breweries change locations or new breweries show up in former spots. When we saw the address to G34.3 we thought it looked familiar. Upon arriving we realized it is the old Forge Brew Works spot. I'll be honest, I wasn't exactly sure what we were walking into. Industrial does not do this justice. From the outside you would think you are getting your car repaired. The inside is nice and spacious. There were three people working, it looked like one was being trained. The owner/brewer was not wearing a mask. The two serving the beer were. The beer was actually better than expected. I ended up with the Coffee Stout... Not something I would normally choose on a summer afternoon. While there a group of 5 older patrons walked in and saw two of the three employees without masks, granted they were drinking soda not behind the bar. They left after seeing no masks. My wife went to three parking lot and let them know they had just stepped back there to grab a drink. They returned and have them their business. We felt bad for the brewery that opened at the beginning of March, right before the shut down. Pro tip:. Dog friendly inside; no outside seating (not that you would want to eat out there). Bring your food but there is a highly rated deli in walking distance.

Enjoying this new brewery with a chill vibe. All the beer were good. I'm not an IPA fan but even their double IPA is really good. My favorite is the Spirits of '76! Dog friendly too!

Out of this world little community brewery! Really enjoyed my visit. The beer is solid, but everything that comes with it is great. I love the vibe, service and the space theme. Very fairly priced. Flights available. No food, but feel free to bring something to eat. Drink local!

So happy the old Forge Brewery was taken over by a new brewery. Super friendly and chill, dogs are welcome. Open weekends only and small selection at this time but worth tasting all of them. Grab a T-shirt or growler, join the mug club, support a local business during COVID. We found our new local spot!

Good beer. Come check this place out.

Great new brewery. On top of good beer it has a good selection of board games! It was a little hard to find and didn't have many reviews. However, it was worth the drive to check out.

Not ideal, but it definitely added to the lively, community vibe. Nicole went bold with the Ghost of the Mariner Imperial Stout -- rich, dark, and layered with deep roasted notes. Perfect for stout lovers who want something robust and cozy on a rainy day. I kept it bright with the Fruit Punch Fruited Sour -- juicy, tangy, and super refreshing. A fun contrast to the gray skies outside and very much my vibe. We sampled Ironmaster Hazy IPA and Sailing Cross The Devil's Sea Hazy IPA to decide which one deserved a 6-pack for the hubby. Both were smooth, juicy, and low bitterness -- classic hazy energy -- but one edged out the other in overall balance and drinkability. Overall: great variety, solid pours, and a buzzing atmosphere -- just be prepared for limited seating during peak times.

I would suggest that you ask for extra sour cream. The buffalo boneless wings were good and I loved that they came with a skewer so you don't get messy. Very date friendly appetizer. The tenders were cool, just nothing special. Fries were good but the honey mustard was watery. The burgers were mid. Just a regular burger with no seasoning. The spinach dip was edible but not seasoned. I've had better spinach dip from the grocery store. The ambiance is the same as your typical bar, loud, fast paced, with many tvs. Overall I regret ordering the burgers and spinach dip but I loved everything else and I'll definitely be back! 8 appetizers and 2 drinks only came up to $80!

Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 5/5…read more I love Belgian beer, and Cock and Bowl is my favorite place to nab some of this great nectar. This place keeps the Belgian brews stocked across the spectrum. From fruity Lambics to Tripels (my personal fave) and Quadrupels, pales to darks. There's a lot to explore here. The food is pretty good too. The frites (fries) are excellent and pair well with the beer. They are thick without veering into steak fry territory, nicely crunchy, and packed with a pleasing amount of salt (and I believe a hint of vinegar). The waffles are also a standout, typically topped with light and airy cream. The merguez lamb sausage is also hearty and delicious. I wish the building itself was larger. There's only a few tables, meaning you may be in for a wait if you go during the colder months. And I recently had the chocolate mousse and didn't care for it. It was much more akin to pudding, and there wasn't a deep enough chocolate flavor to contrast with the whipped cream. There's no better place I've found in Occoquan to eat, drink, and be merry. I highly recommend you stop here when you visit.

That said things are tough these days and it's hard to justify eating out and paying more for meals and drinks. We purchase gift cards at Costco ($100 worth for $80) and combine that with the weekly specials they have traditionally offered. In short, we made it affordable enough to justify going on a tight budget. The Good The staff are great (John at the bar has been there for 20+ years), the food is good and the prices have usually been reasonable. We are big fans of the wings at Glory Days and the $6.99 for 6 after 9 PM made this our GoTo appetizer. I've had many meals at the Burke location after working late nights or after working out the gym and I've enjoyed the consistency and devotion the staff put into the experience. Sheldon often has my beer ready by the time I get a seat at the bar. Glory Days is a sponsor for some of the local public baseball fields and a big draw for teams at the many local schools. Add to all of this a good location, TONS of SCREENS and a real sense of neighborhood commitment and you can see why customers show so much loyalty. The NOT so Good Recently the policies and the menus have been changing. Prices have gone up, discounts have gone down or been completely eliminated and some items are no longer offered. I've heard that this is partially due to a change in ownership, apparently the new management team wants to go after more money and expect customers to just absorb the cost. I guess they took a page from Amazon's "Screw over the Prime members" playbook. Reasonable prices and policies have been replaced with higher prices and less options. Don't care for fries? You'll pay an upcharge to swap them out for broccoli or rice. Goodbye $6.99 wings and hello $11.99 for the same 6 bone-in wings. No more half price burgers on Monday, Taco Tuesdays and etc. Instead they have a "Trifecta" and the "Merica Burger". Needless to say I'm not impressed. Moving On These changes have prompted my wife and I to explore local alternatives despite our loyalty to the staff at the Burke location. We still hold a few gift cards and we'll be back to use them but we're not buying any more and we're checking out other restaurants. Tonight, it is Oh George! over by GMU. Time will tell if Glory Days returns to it's former Glory or goes down the profit driven death spiral.
