After thinking on it for a bit and discussing it further, I decided to eventually have each room wired with ethernet, cable, and telephone and put speakers throughout the house. CSI also installed my surround sound system and hung my TV - and hid all the "electronics" away in a media cabinet we had created. First and foremost the customer experience with CSI is unparalleled - these guys are true professionals. Everyone from the top down is super nice and helpful, and very aware that they are in your house doing work around stuff that you don't want to get dirty. My main points of contact were Dawn Baber and Paul Lawrence. I believe Paul is the founder and owner of CSI, possibly co-owners with Dawn, but I am not sure. Either way, the two of them are extremely professional. After conversing back and forth with Dawn as to what I was looking for - we arranged for Paul to meet me at the house and do a walk through, with where I wanted everything and to lay out all my ideas. Paul was very helpful during the walk-through, pointing out ideas that other clients had used - but at no point did I feel like he was trying to add on to what I had wanted. He was merely making suggestions and not a hard-sales pitch. In my dealings with the two of them, I never felt pressured to go with one of their ideas or upgrades, nor did I feel the pressure to get their money ASAP, they were more than willing to work with my time line. When it came down to the actual work Paul and his team of guys were at my house for a few days and were true professionals. They worked along side my general contractor and his crew, with minimal problems. They were always very nice and receptive to questions I had if Paul wasn't on site at the time. I always felt like these were guys that I would definitely trust in my house if I was not there. I should add, that CSI's drywall contractor, someone who Paul says he has worked with for many years - is AMAZING. I seriously can't even see where they made the cuts, and I've examined it on a ladder with a flashlight (because I knew where the cuts originally were). I was very impressed. As of right now I have an amazing system set up - I have speakers in my kitchen, dining room, outside deck, and master bedroom. And a surround sound system in my living room, with a flat panel TV mounted from the ceiling - which looks great. All of the electronics are hidden away in a cabinet and controlled by a radio remote - which is great. They also included the ability to add a TV into my kitchen and the Master Bedroom and tie it into the system when I decide to purchase those. CSI is truly a professional company and I highly recommend them. And in shopping around they seemed fairly comparably priced, even a little lower than I had expected. If you are looking to have some A/V Solutions resolved - I recommend calling CSI!
