On a Saturday, the complex was drivable and viewable from the exterior but I didn't get the opportunity to see inside the gates or to wander the grounds up close. Still such an experience to see a FLW of this size and presence. A masterpiece but also not quite timeless in design. It looks like a lot to keep up and I can imagine that the interiors might not be well suited for the computer age or for the demands of the modern workplace. Good for Marin County for doing what they can to maintain the complex. It still looks great!

There were areas that I've never seen and the history was fascinating. I highly recommend people take the tour because the history of the building is fascinating. I didn't know that there was a library there it's built in such a way that it absorbs the noise so it's very quiet and peaceful in there.

Totally unpretentious, with fun shops, rainbow crosswalks, and folks dressed in eccentric hippie attire. Love it here. Love Good Earth grocery (all organic certified!), love Wu Wei Tea Temple, the garden shop, the coffee place, the bike store, the divey bar w vegan options, and Deer Park Villa as a entertainment venue. I come here as often as possible, and am always glad I did!

After living in SF for 15 years I would definitely rate all post offices in SF with 2 stars. Prior to SF I lived in Los Altos - also suffering from poor customer service. Reasons why this place rocks: -Friendly staff (I believe "Ruth" helped me but everyone seemed so nice)! -Helpful staff! -FAST! -Everything you need is there (packing stuff, etc) -Clear information -Tidy, clean environment -Easy to get to / park Perfection! I can't believe this cute little town has never received a YELP rating (and a 5 Star rating at…read morethat)! I moved to the North Bay just a few months ago and discovered this place and fell in love with it! You could almost miss the main drag if you just travel down Sir Francis Drake (by the way, some cute shops and restaurants on SFD on the side by the old theatre. Don't miss those either!). But hit the main drag by taking Tunstead off of Sir Francis Drake and then turn left or right to find some great shopping, parks, restaurants, galleries, market and the like. Everytime I come here, which is often these days, I discover something new. As I do, I will post my finds by adding to this review. My three picks for the week are Marin Coffee Roasters (delicious coffee, snacks, breakfast, lunch..and beer if you like), Cucina SA (amazing restaurant for lunch and dinner) and Tumbleweed (new little clothing shop I discovered after dining at Cucina one night...I just got some great boots there!); unique and quality items and some great bargains! This is a very charming and fun town and you need to check it out! Forget the malls and come here and shop! Dog and kid friendly! Love it!
