We were upgraded upon arrival which was nice Our room was pretty clean, only issue was some weird spots on the ceiling. Laying there looking at it, wondering what the hell shot all the way up there??? Soda (we hope)- LOL We did learn a valuable lesson, we extended our stay one night while there at the front desk. The young lady told me the price, it was only a couple dollars more so no big deal. I found out it did not include taxes & fees so it actually turned out to be almost $27 more than our first night. Great Hotel! First, we appreciated how the parking lot felt safe, especially they have security monitoring the premises. I stayed at the Fairfield Inn a few days and the first impression was a good one, it's close to the airport and has a Corner Bakery next door. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. But, as soon as I walked into the room I started noticing the room was a bit dirty, I wasn't about to call and complain since I was a bit tired and just needed rest. As I opened the dresser I found yellow cheese (sandwich) wrappers inside the drawer, the shower had several hairs left behind and there was cheese on the bathroom wall :( not cool at all. read more

Stayed one night last week just passing through. It was nice, clean, and quiet. We were given water upon our arrival because we are Marriott Rewards Members. The room was spacious. The walls were not thin so we could not hear anyone's conversation next to us. I wish I could have checked out the pool but we checked in too late. I was exhausted by the time I arrived in El Paso. The manager said it was heated. The breakfast was good and filling. There were plenty of options from Bagels to Oatmeal to Waffles to Cereal anything you possibly wanted for the most part. Great place to stay at and it's close to the airport. They offer shuttle service and breakfast in the morning. We were able to check in early at 11 since our room was available. Rooms are very clean and nicely designed. It has a microwave & refrigerator. Rooms have a separate seating area too. Bathrooms are nice with large shower and built in shampoo, conditioner & body wash on wall. Fitness center was small but enough to get the job done. It had two treadmills, one elliptical & one weight bench and a full set of weights. Staff was very friendly. They have water & coffee all day it seems which is a nice touch. read more

I was a little reluctant to change hotels from Home2 Suites by the Hilton down the road but we really had no choice. We needed to stay in El Paso for another week and Home2 had no rooms available. We shopped around and came across Fairfield Inn. At first judging by the name I was a little skeptical but it turns out, this was a great find. Fairfield Inn is right by the airport and is part of the Marriott hotel group. Now when I say close to the airport, they are about a 3 min drive down the road from the airport but far enough away that you are not dealing with the traffic going in there. There are restaurants all around including a Corner Bakery that is right outside sharing the same parking lot but you really should go to El Taquito which is cheap, quick, delicious Mexican food just around the corner. Fairfield Inn and Home2 are probably quite equivalent in terms of amenities. You get free internet by logging onto their wifi. You get a free breakfast with much of the same foods including boiled eggs, cereal, waffle, coffee, juice, breads, cakes, and other awesome things. The rooms are nice and are equipped with a small fridge but you don't get a kitchenette like you do at Home2. They have an outdoor pool, gym with 2 treadmills and an elliptical, self serve coin operated washing machines and a mini market by the front desk. The people here were kind, polite and provided awesome service to the guests! I really enjoyed my stay here and others who had stayed say at the Radisson did not get nearly as great of treatment as we did at either Fairfield or Home2. There is plenty of free parking at this hotel. If I ever come back, I'll definitely be staying here! read more

I booked this hotel for my first visit ever to El Paso, TX. Although I used a third-party vendor to book it, they had my reservation in when I called a couple of days ahead to avoid any surprises when I checked in. It's a very short, maybe ten-minute drive, from ELP airport. They have a free shuttle, though I didn't use it while I was there. We are creatures of the night, so I think we went through three different shifts of people while there. The guy who checked us in the first afternoon was really nice even though we were about an hour too early. He got us set up! The staff always greet you when they see you. Parking is free and there's lots of it. At least until the evening and then you have to park further out, but at least it doesn't completely fill up. (The lot is shared with the Towneplace Suites in the same business park.) Room was fine. I booked one with a king-sized bed which is fairly comfortable. They give you like five pillows and we used all of them. For two people that really enjoy spending time gaming vs going outside, it's a small room but we were fine once they were able to get us an additional office chair. They looked puzzled when we asked, and we had to make two subsequent calls to get it, but BF nailed it. You have to be a little persistent when you ask for stuff. We also asked for a blanket when we mistakenly used the cover as a picnic surface and had to request another. We ended up having to ask twice... but they were always really nice about it. They have a small frig, microwave and a coffee maker if you're wondering. There's only one desk if you're a computer user so you have to get creative otherwise, like we did. :) Issues.... There were some fairly glaring ones considering we spent a lot of time in the room and game. The A/C is really loud turning on and it either runs too cold or not cold enough. It was a little frustrating and why we had to get an additional blanket and spent a lot of time putting on and taking off jackets. Then there's the Wifi. They have a standard one and the one for the conference room downstairs. Neither one of them seemed to work consistently. At one point we got a lot of lag and had to call it in. They didn't ever really fix it even though the maintenance guy was super chill. I think we'll have to avoid this location just for that because we rely on it so much. They serve a breakfast each day but for those of us that wake up closer to noon, it does you no good and I have no information about it. Just circumstantial evidence it happens by the waffle maker and signage. They usually keep hot water and coffee there if you need a caffeine or hot chocolate boost. Bottom line: clean, good service, fairly inexpensive but if you rely on wifi, go somewhere else read more

Fortunately the good reviews were accurate! Stayed one night for a quick pass through. Friendly employees, all requests handled, very spacious room. I mean extremely spacious - way larger than Springhill suites. Perhaps because we had a handicap space? Clean, no complaints. Breakfast was usual but better fruit, eggs, meat selection than other marriotts. No gluten free pastries though. Overall met expectations. Also corner bakery right next door. Like most places on Yelp, this place is overrated. I was going to give them 1 star, but, I had a change of heart. This Fairfield is located near the airport in what looks like an older neighborhood. They are different from most of the Fairfield's that I've been to. Where was the suite? The suite wasn't in my room. The other Fairfield's I've been to have a living room/seating area with a couch and bar area for us to sit at. This one did not. Lacking also was what most newer hotels have...USB ports for recharging electronics. The room itself was adequate, but, seemed dated. The beds were okay. I was able to get a good nights sleep, but, I think my allergy medicine had a lot to do with it. Bathroom was adequate. They did have products from the Tea Tree by Paul Mitchell like soaps and shampoo that both my wife and daughter liked. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. They had the normal scrambled eggs and sausages. They were well stocked with food. For some reason, I liked their breakfast. I'm not sure how the other El Paso hotels are, but, I don't think they are much better. I'll be nice and give them 3 stars. But, they really need a makeover. read more

The rooms at this hotel are perfect. Unfortunately the breakfast service is never on time. They say breakfast starts at 6:00, but in reality there is no food until at least 6:30. For guests trying to have breakfast before their flight, you better get something at the airport. It seems the kitchen help doesn't even arrive until 6:00. As a Marriott Titanium Member it is very disappointing with this delayed service. They should just tell guests breakfast really starts at 6:30 or 7:00. Today we had no hot food put out until 6:40am. Got into town today for my moms funeral this week. We had a reservation at another hotel. Upon arrival, we found out that the previous hotel gave us a room that cost more and not what we reserved. We needed 2 rooms to fit 6 people. The room was tiny and didn't look clean or sanitary. They weren't helpful and charged us the room for the week. They told us that Experian allows people to book rooms that have been booked for over 8 months. They weren't able to accommodate us in anyway. We left that hotel and drove up the road to the Fairfield Inn. We were created by Carey who was not only able to accommodate us with the right room size to fit our families needs but saved us some money. He was helpful, super sweet and compassionate about our situation. With everything going on with my mom, this was the last thing that I needed to worry about. I cannot day enough good stuff about this location. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers.... all that are clean, well maintained and actually work! The hotel is located near the airport and within a convenient distance to shopping. Breakfast is good. The best part of this location are the employees! They are absolutely amazing. Each and every one of them are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I especially love and appreciate Lorenzo, the shuttle driver. We spent the weekend here while visiting family stationed at Ft. Bliss. This hotel is only two months old, and is clean and comfortable like no other. We really had a great experience, as we do at most Marriot Hotels. The young lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly and made it a point to say hello the next night as we were returning to our rooms. The breakfast was wonderful, they have a large dining area with a great selection of fruits, breads and meats. Deborah is the kitchen attendant, and by far the friendliest lady I've met in a long time. She was totally on her job, bringing out fresh food as it was needed and walking around greeting everyone. Both mornings we were there we went down for breakfast, and she greeted us and checked on us each day. Its employees like her who really make it a great experience! This Fairfield will be our hotel of choice as long as my brother is stationed here. read more

1/2/21: Ha Happy to have 2020 behind us, we stayed at this Fairfield with disappointing results. We purposely wanted a suite for more room. My daughter was going to use the sleeper sofa. Unable to locate the sheets we found them still on the pull out. Obviously left by a previous occupant. Since it was late, the front desk asked for one of us to go down to pick up the fresh linens. We then began noticing less cleanliness throughout the room. Smudges on lamps and surfaces plus small hair shavings in the shower. Gross, especially during these times when cleanliness is even more important. read more

This location is nice, but it definitely has it's drawbacks. Pros: Location! This is literally a 5m drive from the airport and a 10m drive to the Buffalo Soldier Rd gate of Fort Bliss (formerly known as the Robert E Lee gate). Staff! The staff in this hotel is some of the friendliest I've encountered. New! This location is still very new, so the facilities are quite nice. Cons: Location, there's no real... entrance to this hotel. You can go in the entrance for the Corner Bakery on Airway (this brings you through their drive-thru), or the entrances on Edgemere that is unlabeled, and the entrance on Robert E Lee that is labelled for the TownePlace Suites Marriott. The easiest way to head to the airport is to go out the Robert E Lee rd entrance and hang a right on Robert E Lee, a right on Montana, and then a left onto Airway. Don't bother trying to exit onto Airway heading towards the airport. If you're in for a long stay here, it's kinda inconvenient that they don't have microwaves in the room, but there is one available in the lobby. Internet, there are LAN ports in the rooms, but no cables. You also have to remove the drawer from the dresser under the television to be able to get to the LAN jack... which is just terrible design. There'd be nothing wrong with it if there were cables hooked in in every room already, but there aren't. If you need to get to the jack you basically have to take the drawer out, there are little catches on the sides of the drawer to help you take the drawer out. I also noticed that the nice TP that's in your room when you check-in, over the course of a long stay, gets replaced by crappy single ply stuff. Just cutting some corners, but it's noticable. read more

My husband and I called at 7am and was told they had availability, so we decided to book as we were in town on business. Upon arrival, the first thing the woman at the desk said was "No help you." Confused, we asked "what?" To which she replied "I said no help you, it means go back out the door." I'm sure she was trying to be funny, but after a 10 hour drive and only a few hours of sleep, it was anything but. We were then informed that they lost our reservation somehow. I would like to say that the man working the front was trying to help, but was busy, so he asked his coworker to take us. She argued that we hadn't called this hotel, despite us pulling up the number we had called and asking if it matched this hotel. She argued for five minutes with us, and then told us not to call her when it turned out we were wrong and got double charged. This morning we woke up to a double charge, from the exact same hotel! The hotel was clean, but this particular staff member has made us unwilling to return. I would post her name, but she wasn't wearing a name tag. read more

Very enjoyable stay here at the Fairfield Inn this past week and I cannot say that about every Fairfield Inn I have encountered. This particular location looks very new from the lobby area to the rooms themselves and they have a very helpful staff here at the front desk to assist in all of your needs. There is a very comfortable and enjoyable area to relax in the lobby with brand new I Mac computers for you to peruse the internets, nice touch! I also really enjoy the toiletry items that they provide at the Fairfield because they leave my hair glistening and my skin soft. This leaves me exiting my room with my head held high and my confidence at its peak. The location is tremendous as it takes about 4 minutes to get to the airport from here so you can high tail it out of this city as fast as possible!! Great hotel, highly recommend! read more

A new hotel with amenities in room galore... Very nice and friendly staff. The suites and bathrooms are clean and this hotel is cheaper than the Courtyard and way nicer. Better TV service, bed linens, fixtures. As compared to the Courtyard, this is definitely not a hotel trying to mask itself as an upscale hotel. It's new and it shines. Super convenient to Corner Bakery breakfast even though they do offer free breakfast in the lobby. Great value and comfortable amenities for their price. 2 TVs in each room? Surely! read more

Having been Marriott Platinum for many years, I know the Marriott product line very well. It used to be the Fairfields were on the low end, and the full service Marriotts were on the high end. Seems to be reversed, at least with this property. I would say this hotel stands up evenly with some of the best Marriotts in the world, including London, England and Montreal, Canada. Everything was first class. Rooms were spotless. Everything in the room worked as it should. Hallways were super clean. The only weird thing was the danged elevators. We decided they were haunted and began using the stairs (to the 4th floor). Needed the exercise anyway (and the elevators need an Exorcism). read more

This is my 3rd and final time staying at this Marriott Fairfield Inn. The hot breakfast in the mornings is good and the service is nice. Each time I've stayed here the check in process is always slow, if you reserve a king bed you will get double beds. Rooms are nothing really spectacular but they are clean. I've stayed at nicer Fairfield inns. If your in the El Paso area search for another Marriott property there is another Marriott Towne Place just next door. read more

First and foremost this two star is not because of the facility or the staff, which both exceeded my expectations! The issue is the surrounding environment. The City of El Paso might want to think about implementing some quiet hours in the general area of there hotels in which visitors spend money, so they will want to return and bring more money with them! I only had one full eight hours of refreshing sleep. That's because I was at Track One way to late and consumed some adult beverages and good food! Request an even numbered room!! After spending my first week at this location in a high numbered odd room, I did move to the even side! If you like being woke up at 3:45 a.m. by the sound of a backing Corner Bakery supply semi, beep, beep, beep! Took the driver multiple attempts to get his trailer where he wanted it. Then being woke up again to the sounds of a garbage truck with the same reverse beep and tossing around dumpsters like rag dolls!
