Definitely a different Marriott than when I stayed last year. I go to my room I noticed a little mildew around the toilet seat. I go back downstairs to move my car. The guy at the front desk ask me how was everything and I told him about the toilet. He was nice and helpful and moved me to another room.. I checked this room out .. on top of the toilet top it had some red residue on it.. I thought it probably was a stain .. but actually it was something that wasn't cleaned properly.. the bed "oh my" it had some overly washed out sheets on them ( needed to be discontinued)like something that would have been very uncomfortable and itchy to sleep on. I didn't even care to be moved again,I just ask the guy for some sheets and just waited for morning to come. Let's face it: when it comes to Marriott owned hotels, it's almost always proceeded with the presumption of prestigious excellence, am I right? Such is the case with the Fairfield Inn & Suites, but it doesn't come without some flaws. Let's discuss. Right as I walk into my room, I am immediately impressed. So much so, that I whip out the ol' camera and start snapping away. The single king bed suite that I got was immaculate and spacious. Imagine my surprise to discover that there were, not one, but TWO televisions in the room; one in the bedroom portion of the room and the other right next to the work area. It all had a very professional feel to it. The two end tables in the living room type area came in very handy, too. I suspect the dual TV thing was due to the fact that it had a pull-out couch in the room. The service here is extremely cordial also. In fact, one of the cleaning ladies complimented me by saying, "Ah, so YOU'RE the clean gentleman that stays here!" I took that as a big compliment, because I realize she appreciated the fact that I don't come into hotel rooms and trash the place. I tend to keep all my used towels in one pile for them and leave the place generally de-cluttered. I figure the cleaning staff in most hotels have to deal with some pretty horrific stuff, so I try to keep it as convenient for them as I possible can. And, of course, no really fine hotel is complete without some type of complimentary breakfast (a legitimate one, that is), but there are a few flaws with this one. First, it could use a few more sides. They basically feature eggs, bacon or sausage, various breads and cereals. What would have been nice to see is some variant of starch, hashbrowns or potatoes. I know it can be done because I've seen less luxurious hotels pull it off. Second thing is...they could restock their food a bit more whenever it gets low. Just this morning as I go down to hopefully enjoy some scrambled eggs, they were out. They were almost out of bacon, too. The thing is it was like 9am and they never even bothered to restock the eggs or bacon. The breakfast bar closes at 10. I'm not even sure the lady running the bar ever checked to see how many were left, because I sat there for a good 40 minutes just to see if she was going to bring out more. No such luck. I'm also a little disappointed that if you happen to take advantage of their WiFi upgrade for higher speed access, it doesn't even come close. I did a speed check and there is literally no discernable difference between the high speed package versus the complimentary one they provide. Deceiving. Ah well. No place is perfect; not even the 5 star ones. Still, this was a stellar stay which I would easily repeat. In fact, I just signed up for a Marriott rewards program which I hope to take advantage of real soon. I'm kind of kicking myself for not setting one up a long time ago, but I hardly get to travel as much as I'd like to these days. Best of the options in the area and overall a good experience; however, I'm a hard sleeper and don't normally wake up to noises, but the walls were so thin I could hear everything happening in the hall or next door. Additionally though the staff was nice the communication was lacking. When I checked in they asked me if I wanted room service everyday. I said yes, however ended up having to go ask for it because no one came for three days at one point. I also asked for a late check out, marylin was so nice and put a note on my account to allow me a late check out. I stopped by the front desk on my morning of check out specifally asked if the note was still in there (give my lack of trust from the room cleaning incident) and was told it was. I said "oh good because I'm going to shower and just didn't want someone walking in" fast forward three hours, I'm finishing packing and freshly out of the shower and a house keeper, without knocking walks into my room. I told the front desk upon checking out and the gentleman did comp me $25. Last thing was one weekday morning breakfast wasn't put out at 6am. I think someone was late for work, but no sign was posted and the front desk was not very apologetic. Over all everyone was nice, it was clean, breakfast was good, laundry worked well. And when I had issues with my government credit card at the end of stay they were very patient. read more

This by far deserves 5 stars. This establishment was sparkling clean it shined! From the lobby to the room even the pool was so clean. The room was spacious and extremely clean as I mentioned before, WiFi was strong and simple to sign on to, the television was beautiful with many channels to choice from and Netflix's. The breakfast in the morning was by far more than I expected with so many choices of items I was surprised as it is included in the price. There were many stations and selections it was phenomenal. The swimming pool is indoors and fantastic. Clean and shiny plenty of towels and as I was there staff was so helpful and kind. If you need a place to stay look no further as I will return here. Believe me I stayed at a place in the same vicinity which was a bit cheaper and disgustingly dirty. Look no further and spend a few more dollars. Thank you for a great experience Marriott read more

We had never been to Alabama and decided on this hotel. We were greeted by a very welcoming guy named Cody. He was friendly and extremely helpful. We ended up extending our stay and again Cody has been nothing but a great help for our family. The room was nice and clean and the hotel itself is great. I was able to sleep ok here. The curtains were pretty good and there wasn't much outside light. The walls are pretty thick, so I could hear my neighbor but only faintly. The ac unit is a bit loud and makes a loud thunk sound when it turns on and off. The bed was comfortable and the covers were plenty thick enough. So it's not perfect, but it also was pretty good compared to most hotels. The room is also pretty clean. There are some marks on the walls and ceiling, and even some stains here and there that could just be wiped off with some cleaning spray, but the counters, shower, desks, etc are all clean. The internet works and is free. Finally, there isn't anything to do in walking distance except the Santa Fe restaurant. So expect to get in your car if you want to leave your room ...well unless you are hitting the indoor gym or pool. All in all, I would stay here again. My primary need in a hotel is a good night's sleep. Mission accomplished. read more

A new property in late 2015, we stayed at this property in the first week. Samantha, our front desk staffer was excellent. The pool is inside but isn't heated..which won't be an issue most of the year..but it was a little chilly for us. They should add a hot tub on their first renovation. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms are good size and beds are super comfortable. Smart TV in room, breakfast is 6 to 10, indoor heated pool is nice, fitness center is small but adequate for the hotel size. Wifi is free but $4.95 per day if you want the fast stuff. Hotel is only 3 years old so everything is in good shape and up to date. read more

Do not stay here. We had to cancel due to Covid and they charged us a cancellation fee and would not waive it. I am a long time customer and I've never been treated this way by a Marriott. Taking advantage of people during a pandemic is a terrible way to get money. So sad. read more

Customer service here is horrible! When you are planning on booking 15 or more rooms and they don't want to offer a group rate and tell one family member they actually go up when they know there is a wedding in town. We only stayed one night but really enjoyed the place. I called ahead because we weren't checking in until a little later in the evening and K at the front desk was very kind, he was waiting for us when we arrived and had us checked in in less than 5 minutes. I've stayed at this hotel a lot and I gotta say they have some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The rooms are spotless, the cleaning staff are kind and take pride in their work. I booked this hotel for my parents and my sister and her husband and their children as they were all coming to a wedding in Enterprise Saturday. Around 6:30 am when the only people awake were my sister, her husband, and their two-year-old son, my sister received a noise complaint from the front desk. They were up and getting ready and the little toddler was walking around a bit but they were making almost no noise. Over the next couple hours, they received two more calls. There was a fair amount of activity in the hallway, but the children in their room were sitting on the bed watching television. Because they were being harassed by your staff, they decided to leave the hotel by 8:30, giving them no place to go until the wedding at 11:00. I am distraught that their enjoyment of this time as a family was ruined so effectively by your hotel. No one at the front desk seems to have attempted to ascertain the nature of the noise or to let the complainer know that no one in a hotel is required to be silent. My mother, who was in a different room with my father and the oldest of the children, was very upset as well. They were looking forward to having time to get ready for the wedding and having breakfast but instead everyone was forced out. She requested a call from the manager who called her after they had left and the manager proceeded to shame my mother for only caring about herself! She said that my family needed to understand that there were other guests that hotel had to care for. She did not listen to my mother and she spoke quite rudely. We are appalled. There were plenty of people moving around on their floor because it was morning and time to get ready. If these people wanted to sleep in and not hear a pin drop, they should have stayed in a private place. I assume my family was discriminated against because they had some small children, but those children were sitting quietly when this took place. No one in the hotel attempted to solve the problem for the person who complained or to treat my family with any dignity or kindness. The manager spoke disgracefully toward my mother and then, when my mother got upset and asked if she had been trained as a manager, the manager hung up on her! It was an awful experience and no one should ever use this hotel. read more

If you are here for just 1-3 days its GREAT. Super staff and very clean newly renovated rooms, good hot breakfast. I am here for 6 weeks with the Army. BIGGEST issue - WIFI is AWFUL. Cannot connect phone at all, and laptop is very spotty - useless for any type of download/video. Serious issue when I am here for work. Contacted front desk, manager, and even corporate - nobody seems to inclined to fix it, and Im stuck using my mobile data - NOT COOL. Other smaller issues for long term guests - the fridge is TINY (like a drink fridge), almost NO storage space, the "fitness center" is 2 treadmills, 1 eliptical and some hand weights in a tiny room - thats it. And the TVs on the cardio equipment only pay a very select number of channels - annoying to me because I like to watch AM news. Im sad to have to leave a bad review, the hotel is otherwise nice, but I want people to know what to expect. read more
