Not the fake fluffy kind that offer zero support. More spacious than expected. Outlets in all the right places everywhere you need them without having to move furniture. Fantastic sitting area for people who want to keep working, separated from sleep area by half wall that gives the impression of privacy as well as more personal space and mental freedom. Beds were so comfortable, and the pillows were real instead of the fake balloon type things that don't give any support while you sleep. And they give you four per bed which lets you stack as needed. Just really great sleep experience. Air conditioning was quiet white noise that contributed to the coolness comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep on a hot summer night. Fantastic. There is a really clean indoor pool that is maintained exceptionally well as well as a hot tub. Pretty wonderful at the end of a long day. A hot breakfast, not just a continental breakfast but one with proteins and pancakes are included in this day. Outstanding value. Bala and other staff were incredibly warm and welcoming.

I think the photos do it justice, but here you go the backstory. We were promised an early check-in, and the room wasn't ready. The room had to get the carpets deep cleaned, so they had the heat on high and two fans to dry the carpet. The room was probably 95 degrees, and it was 90 degrees in Newberg that day. They said there wasn't a reason for the carpets being cleaned, but as you can see from the pictures, the carpets still weren't cleaned even when we were there. Each time we walked, our feet or socks turned black. We told management, and she told us that she would contact the GM, but she never did, and I had to contact them after three days of no response. I spoke to the GM, and he was very friendly and helpful, but the discount did not a lot to how awful our experience was.

Each day we were treated to fresh coffee, homemade scones, yogurt with fresh fruit, a hearty main course, and fresh smoothies. Everything we had over the three days was incredible and perfect before a day of wine tasting. So who knows how long that was there for. The floors were disgusting and not vacuumed, clearly! The bottom of my feet were filthy and needed to be washed off before going to bed. The walls had strange patch and paint jobs. This just showed how dirty the walls were. Just gross. Thank goodness I travel with extra security measures because the latch to the door was missing (see photo). However, the safe was secure! So secure it died and we couldn't get into it. We explained that there was time sensitive medication that needed to be taken in the morning, but they refused to call the emergency number to have someone come out that night. We also told them we needed to leave by 8 AM and they explained that the locksmith wouldn't be there until 9:30 AM. For as horrible as the owner was, the staff trying to help us was great! They did go the extra mile to help, but the owner put so many barriers in their way. The locksmith did get it unlocked by 11:30 AM. Breakfast was very poor. The toaster was nearly working and only toasted one side. The food wasn't put out on time and wasn't refilled. The pool was gross and a shade of green that you just don't see in nature. We didn't dare even go into the gym! Bottom line, don't believe what you see on line. That photographer deserves a raise!!! The good part was the window blackout shade. No light came through and that was awesome! The staff were sweet and tried their best.

Their common areas include a dining room, a living room, a small library (with books and games) and TV room, as well as front and back porches. We originally booked the Oregon Trail room, but Kristin offered to upgrade us to the Oregon Coast room at a discounted rate. We chose the Oregon Coast room for the private balcony and stunning views over the valley. The room was lovely and comfortable. Toiletries, robes, and slippers are all provided for the guests. Our room also had an electric fireplace, which was nice. There was no TV, but that wasn't an issue for us. This is their handicapped accessible room, so there were extra shower and toilet seat handle bars. We stayed two nights and enjoyed two amazing breakfasts prepared by Ayelet. Over the two days, we were treated to blueberry French Toast, a poached pear, homemade bread, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, blueberry scones, and a baked apple. Plus a selection of their homemade jelly/jam. A lot of the ingredients were sourced right from the property. While we ate, Ayelet asked us about our plans for the day, and she offered super helpful suggestions on what to do, where to go, what to eat. She even gave us printed maps! Some other noteworthy items: you get one free T-shirt with your stay; you have a choice of breakfast at 8 or 9 am; there are coolers, sunscreen, and sunglasses you can borrow; they ask your breakfast beverage of choice and usually have it out in the dining room an hour before your breakfast time; there are always homemade cookies, water, and glasses by the mini fridge; you can buy their homemade jam/jelly as well as T-shirts, mugs, coasters, etc. We loved our stay here. The view was gorgeous, the food was delicious, our room was comfortable, and Ayelet was amazing!

We were lucky enough to stay for two nights at The DreamGiver's Inn, and I was so regretful for not making the trip a little longer. This place is truly a dream. The drive from Portland wasn't bad at all (under an hour!) and was really quite beautiful as we made our way. While driving the winding roads filled with fall colors, we spotted the Inn, thanks to its charming shade of red. We checked in around 4pm, and Grace was there to greet us and help us to our room. She was an incredibly welcoming host, and made the experience even more special. We stayed in the "Grace" room, and it was absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The room had a huge window seat, and the first couple of hours we were there, we sat there watching the rain and relaxing. Grace had all the makings for hot tea downstairs, which was a perfect match for the moment. We had so many plans that we canceled just so we could sit on that damn window seat and enjoy the view! Mornings at The DreamGivers Inn are the stuff dreams are made of. We usually wandered downstairs around 8:30pm to get some coffee and enjoy one of Grace's baked goods... she made the most amazing banana bread, lemon blueberry scones, and the list goes on. It's a perfect time to wake up slowly and soak in the views of rolling hills, vineyards, and trees. She had breakfast out every morning at 9am, and holy cow, was it amazing. We got to enjoy yogurt parfaits (made with the best local ingredients), egg scrambles, vegetables from the garden, and homemade jams. Can you see why we never wanted to leave? While some would shy away from going to Oregon during the rainy season, the weather ended up being a perfect match for the cozy atmosphere this beautiful sanctuary provided. I cannot recommend this spot enough! Thank you for a couple incredibly relaxing and peaceful days.

We were greeted at the desk by Ryan with a glass of their sister winery's rose and then proceeded on a tour of the inn. It is a small boutique inn with only about 18 rooms total. I believe while we were there, there may have been maybe 4-5 other couples (that we only saw at breakfast). It is just a lovely place with a sitting room with a huge fireplace, a quaint breakfast room, and several patio areas with fire pits overlooking the valley. One firepit stays on all the time (already I was excited to "need" a firepit in August!). Ryan then walked us across the entryway to a separate smaller building and into our room which was the Deluxe Valley View room...with glass doors that opened directly onto a sweet little patio with adirondack chairs and table overlooking the vineyard. We spent every morning here drinking tea before breakfast and most evenings here drinking wine before bed. And speaking of breakfast! Every morning was a treat...several options you can choose from, mix and match your pastry with your fresh fruit with your main dish with your beverage with your coffee, all a great way to bellywad before a day of wine tastings! Do yourself a favor and get the SCONE every morning! I discovered that sadly on my last day :( All of the staff were super sweet and accommodating. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfy! But that view tho! Makes me want to submit a resume!
