So I surprised the wife on day two of our 35th Anniversary with a stay at the DreamGivers Inn and what an experience. We had never stayed at a B and B before so the bar has been set going forward. Mary and Kevin are the kindest and their home feels more like you are at a close family members home or a really good friends. Clean and well decorated with some beautiful views as well. Breakfast was amazing and they grow some of the ingredients right there on the property. The only bad thing about going is having to leave. One word: heavenly. We recently got to enjoy a few days in Oregon Wine Country before a wedding in Portland, and it was the best experience I could have imagined. We were lucky enough to stay for two nights at The DreamGiver's Inn, and I was so regretful for not making the trip a little longer. This place is truly a dream. The drive from Portland wasn't bad at all (under an hour!) and was really quite beautiful as we made our way. While driving the winding roads filled with fall colors, we spotted the Inn, thanks to its charming shade of red. We checked in around 4pm, and Grace was there to greet us and help us to our room. She was an incredibly welcoming host, and made the experience even more special. We stayed in the "Grace" room, and it was absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. The room had a huge window seat, and the first couple of hours we were there, we sat there watching the rain and relaxing. Grace had all the makings for hot tea downstairs, which was a perfect match for the moment. We had so many plans that we canceled just so we could sit on that damn window seat and enjoy the view! Mornings at The DreamGivers Inn are the stuff dreams are made of. We usually wandered downstairs around 8:30pm to get some coffee and enjoy one of Grace's baked goods... she made the most amazing banana bread, lemon blueberry scones, and the list goes on. It's a perfect time to wake up slowly and soak in the views of rolling hills, vineyards, and trees. She had breakfast out every morning at 9am, and holy cow, was it amazing. We got to enjoy yogurt parfaits (made with the best local ingredients), egg scrambles, vegetables from the garden, and homemade jams. Can you see why we never wanted to leave? While some would shy away from going to Oregon during the rainy season, the weather ended up being a perfect match for the cozy atmosphere this beautiful sanctuary provided. I cannot say enough about my visit to the DreamGiver's Inn. We arrive on Friday night and checked in. A wonderful place for peace and quiet. Saturday morning Momma O made the most delicious breakfast. A frittata with jalapeños and cheese. Avocado toast, sausage and a strawberry and mango salad that I couldn't get enough of. She also made these amazing blueberry scones and banana nut bread that was to die for. This was a great start to our day. We visited a few wineries and tastes some amazing pinot's. Can't wait to go back to try more. Saturday night at the inn we sat next to the fire, drank wine, talked, laughed. It was the best girls weekend and hanging out at the DreamGiver's Inn was the perfect way to celebrate! Sunday morning Momma O made us the most delicious eggs Benedict with a side of fresh fruit and asparagus! The bed was super comfy and cozy. The sheets were super soft! I asked about the sheets. They will actually buy them for you and ship them to you and that comes with a discount! Sign me up!! The DreamGiver's Inn was a truly wonderful place to hang out. Celebrate. My wife and I Just stayed here 06/05/2020 with all that is going on in the world...this place and these people (Kevin and Mary) were just what the Dr. order. Their property, food and hospitality are 2nd to none! They are genuine people who love what they do. Perfect stay for Oregon's wine country. We are so glad this was our first bed and breakfast experience. We arrived late and checked ourselves in as the rooms are clearly marked. At first I was hesitant to book as the only room available was the Trust room which had the bathroom directly across the hall but it ended up not being an issue at all. The room was very spacious and clean. There is water provided in each room and some snacks downstairs. The next morning we met the other couples who were also staying at the DreamGiver's Inn. Breakfast is served with everyone downstairs. My only disappointment is we were all served the same breakfast and because one of the guests was gluten free and a vegetarian our breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs with asparagus potatoes and mushrooms. I would have preferred something a little heartier for a day of drinking ahead. Aside form the food the rest of breakfast was great. We really enjoyed the company of the other couples from Dallas and Colorado. We were only here one night but I wish we booked both nights at the DreamGiver's Inn! Highly recommend this over Dundee Manor (where we stayed the second night). read more

We loved our stay with Linda, the innkeeper, at The Dreamgiver's Inn! She is so warm and welcoming and her home is just stunning. Relaxation - that's what comes to mind when I think of this place. From the careful placement of comfortable chairs, pillows, rocking chairs, seats, views, windows, incredibly soft sheets and beds to sleep on at night. If we didn't have a weekend packed with wine tasting, I would have been content to sip coffee, wine and read books around her home and property all day long. It's so inviting, quiet and peaceful here. The front porch reminds me of a southern retreat! The Inn is decorated in the warmest colors. The living room has a huge fireplace, that I imagine is amazing in the winter time. There are books all over her home that range in topic from travel, food, wine tasting, dogs and special interests. Dreamgivers sits on Ladd Hill overlooking a vineyard to the South and Mt Hood to the East. Walking into the inn, you will probably be greeted by Linda who seems to have been created for this role in life. The Inn itself is spacious with every creature comfort available. There are four or five rooms on the second floor. We stayed in "Faith." The library down the hall was called remembrance and boasted a HD TV (there are none in the rooms. Our California King bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, and I have slept in five star hotels all over the world. The sheets don't seem to want you to leave their comfort. The reading nook in the window was an added bonus I did not expect. My wife did have to use steps to crawl up into the bed. Apparently there are 10 and 1/2 acres of property that the Inn owns. There is a fire pit and a labyrinth for those who are so spiritually inclined The food (breakfast is included) is wonderfully presented, hearty and delicious. The wine tour that we embarked upon took us on a twenty mile loop with wonderful tasting rooms with great views. There were too many wineries to take them all in. I can not recommend this B&B highly enough. Treat yourself to a romantic and peaceful stay at this wondrous property. read more

Thank you so much for making our honeymoon a special one. This is a great, centrally-located B & B that is close to anything that you can imagine in Northwest Oregon: Wine Country, Mount Hood, The Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, and the amazing Oregon Coast are all nearby. The Dreamgiver's is incredibly homey, but at the same time modern: It's not creepily decked out in floral wallpaper, lace, or shelves full of antiques like some B & B's. The innkeeper had taken her first vacation in a decade during the week that we were here, but our amazing host Crystal made us feel like family and took care of everything we could imagine. (We will miss her!) There are porches on the front and back of the inn where you can enjoy your evening wine or morning coffee, a snack jar that is always stocked, hot tea always in the downstairs eating area, and a cozy living area that makes you want to curl up on the couch and just relax. There are no tv's in the individual rooms (which we saw as a positive), but there is a game room upstairs with skylights, board games, cards, loads of books, and a DVD/Blu-Ray collection. We couldn't wait to see what we would have for breakfast each morning, and we will absolutely miss waking up to the views of Oregon's vineyards, mountains, and the surrounding countryside. I came to The DreamGiver's Inn with a group of 9 ladies from 4 states for sketching instruction and fun in Oregon's wine country. We had the entire inn to ourselves and did sketching on the grounds in the mornings (amazing views!), wine tasting and spa treatments in the afternoons (great location!), and relaxation in the evenings (beautifully appointed rooms and common areas!). Linda was a warm and gracious host, and we felt right at home. She made us delicious breakfasts that weren't overly formal. She even led the way to Magness Tree Farm for one car in our caravan that got lost on the way! I would highly recommend The DreamGiver's Inn for groups of up to 6 to 10! My only, very minor, feedback would be I didn't love the shower because the drain filled up and there was a little pool of water at my feet. Every year in July we stay at the DreamGivers Inn for a week. We travel a lot and have NEVER stayed at a better place. Nothing compares to this lovely slice of heaven. This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast. If this is what they are all like then I've been missing out! The Inn and grounds are clean, peaceful and beautiful. I could have happily stayed in the room or one of the many lounging areas for a full day...but we were roaming wineries. Linda, the Innkeeper, was so kind! She made a delicious breakfast and accommodated my gluten-free/dairy-free restrictions. I did not feel like I missed out, my food was so good! We stayed in the Faith room with a king sized bed and private bathroom. The bed was so comfortable, even my husband slept well, which he usually doesn't do away from home. We so enjoyed our stay at the DreamGiver's Inn. Mary and Kevin were amazing hosts. I had called inquiring about a room for three of us, myself, my fiancé, and my mom. Mary said they had a room that was not advertised, that was a basement room that would accommodate all of us. It was perfect! Bright, well decorated, beds were comfortable, the sheets were very nice, and it was very quiet. The entire inn is immaculate It is perfectly located to reach all of the wineries in the north Willamette Valley, and the breakfasts were incredible to say very least! My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway that was fairly close to home and the Dream Giver's Inn fit the bill perfectly. We arrrived on a Friday afternoon earlier than the scheduled check in time of 4pm. We were greated warmly by the Inn keeper, Linda, and invited to check in early. Linda also told us that even though we had not reserved a room with an in-room bath, that we could upgrade to one that was available if we would like, at no extra charge. (all the rooms have private baths, although some are just outside the room). We of course chose the upgrade. Our room was decorated very attractively and comfortable. It had a cozy windowseat overlooking a vineyard. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Just outside our room was a well stocked library/game/movie room. We used it both evenings that we were there to just relax and watch movies and drink wine. We were the only guests that chose to use it, and that gave us the opportunity to cuddle and make ourselves at home. Each morning we were served a really nice breakfast that we enjoyed immensely. The first day it was an egg, asaparagus, tomato & cheese fritatta, fresh fruit, english muffins and yogurt and berries. The second morning it was a *to die for* Brulee French Toast served with a Chicken, Mango & Jalapeno Sausage, and fresh berries with a touch Grand Marnier. The Inn is decorated in soft neutrals and furnished with comfort in mind. The main great room has a large stone fireplace and comfortable sofas and chairs. (the room is much larger in person than it appears on their website) There is a large selection of reading material placed on just about every table throughout. The house is large, airy and bright. It also has a large front porch with rocking chairs, as well as a fairly large back deck with chairs and tables. They also keep a nice supply of complimentary snacks, bottled water, coffee and tea on hand. We would highly recommend the Dream Giver's Inn and hope to one day visit with them again. I would also like to note that our one "excursion" during our weekend stay was to visit some wineries. We used a company recommended by the inn, called Wilamettwinetours.com and had a great time...and more importantly, got to drink great wine all day and arrive safely back home at the end of the tour. read more

My wife and I stayed here twice. Linda is a fabulous host, and we are always anxious to return back. We first went for my wife's 30th birthday, and we went back Thanksgiving weekend last year. The place is a perfect spot for relaxation, from the incredibly soft sheets to the zen/modern decor to the delicious coffee/tea available in front of the cozy couches next to the fireplace. Linda's breakfast meals are the best I have ever had at a B&B, and we have stayed at many. She is a fabulous chef! We have only positive things to say about this B&B and would recommend it to anyone!! read more

We really enjoyed our stay here. Linda does an amazing job of making you feel at home. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. You truly feel like you are staying in someone's home. Some of the rooms have bathrooms in them and some have a private bath right outside the room. We went on an adult family trip last weekend to go wine tasting and stayed here for 3 nights. The breakfasts she makes are SO good!! The early treat was also delicious.. Was either fresh baked scones or coffee cake. I hope to replicate a few things she made myself.. She also has out a little jar of packaged snacks (cookies and snack nuts) water, tea and coffee if you want a little something. If you forgot anything, she also probably has it upstairs in a little basket. She is such a gracious and welcoming host and pretty knowledgable about the area. She made reservations for us at a great restaurant for dinner each night and had given us a few vouchers for free tastings at a few of the local wineries. The place is pretty quiet and you can sit out on the back deck or front porch and just enjoy the views and peace. There is also a media room with books and movies upstairs with quite a variety. The grounds are well kept. My only "complaint" is the walls are a teeny bit thin.. We were in the "Trust" room and could hear the couple next to us snoring VERY loudly (imagine Mack truck) which made for some late night giggles (we never heard them talking or anything else, Just the snoring) At least we knew the walls weren't that thin that our little group was keeping anyone up :) I would go back or recommend anytime as this was a beautiful place in a likewise setting! Only about thirty minutes outside of Portland you'll feel like you've been transported to a totally serene soul space in the heart of the wine country. Each time I walk into DreamGiver's I feel "at home" - from the decor, to the comfortable furniture, the amazing sheets and comfy beds, the welcoming outdoor spaces and the hospitality of Linda and her daughter Holly are terrific.
