When in Lincoln, this is a good place to stay. The lobby is clean and there is always someone at the front desk to welcome you. The rooms are average quality with your basic amenities. Our room had a "old" or "Smokey" smell to it. I don't think they allow smoking but it didn't smell as fresh as it could. Best part of our stay was the breakfast in the morning. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and hot coffee. This hotel definitely worked for us for an overnight stay in Lincoln for a concert.

There was mold around the bathtub and the door entering the bathroom was also damaged

We had a very poor experience at this Fairfield Marriott, and we feel that this should not carry the Marriott name as it doesn't meet their standards. The beds were not Marriott beds. There was mold in the bathroom. It was very poorly maintained, and I will attach some pictures on another note. The breakfast also was not the normal Marriott breakfast especially the eggs. The towels were also very worn out.

Fairfield is the least fancy and the most budget-conscious brand in the Marriott spectrum. Nearly all of these properties are nice, the staff will almost always be friendly and they will all have the free breakfast buffet in the morning. As was the case with this property. Lots of parking, a friendly check-in, a very clean room that was functional and featured. The king bed was comfortable though was starting to show its age. The work desk was great with two power outlets on the lamp. The bathroom was good with lots of counter space. The curtains closed completely leaving the room in total and wonderful darkness. A few dings that could use improvement. The extra door lock was broken off - this isn't a problem for me as I run with the Add-a-lock device that secures doors very well. The wifi got slow for a little while but was generally good. The shower drain was very slow. The shower curtain was hung too high which left it hanging outside the tub at times. Oops. I was put in a room right next to the elevator and there was no noise from the elevator. Some hallway noise and some street noise and the occasional slammed door. Several inexpensive restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart right across the street. Definitely convenient. [Review 11356 overall, 1133 of 2019.]

More stuff dried on night stand

Yuck horrible location and this hotel made me want to vomit it's so incredibly filthy. Upon entering it smelled like bleach. First indication that something was wrong. No staffing which is another indication something is wring. Ring a bell then wait. It's a failing hotel tragically understaffed. One gal playing Jack of all trades I felt sorry for her. Why would anyone pick this location to build a hotel? One gal downstairs that's it. Room I checked into was vile, with crud crusted glass in shower, dirty shower pan, a cracked shower pan, mildew, caked on caulking to cover the mildew, stuff dried on night stands, seals pulling apart, turned on heater on window like a cheap motel would have, it smelled like someone had urinated in the unit, smell coming out was revolting a burning sort of sick sweet urine smell. I was utterly disgusted with this situation and asked front desk gal to switch my room. She did. Next room not much better, mattress with lumps and dips in it and room backs to a fed ex distribution center. Omg. I hate this place. Absolutely horrible hotel that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. It's filthy. It stinks, it's in a horrible location and it's so filthy it would likely fail a health and safety inspection.

    Pool area is *very* small

Our stay was fine. Unexceptional but fine. Currently serving buffet-style breakfast which was pretty good as far as free breakfast goes. Room was very clean feeling and air conditioning was very good. The pool is itty bitty and kids were disappointed in its size.

    Clean cozy bedroom.

Don't let Allie handle your billing. I got over $3000 bill after I stayed one night. I have not heard back from a manager yet.

Had a good night's stay here for only $71. Breakfast, Wifi, and a tasty mexican restaurant is a short walk across the parking lot.

I love the view in the middle with a nice bar and restaurant. They have a pretty water feature and a half glass elevator. They have tons of rooms and options to choose from. My suite was very spacious and filled with everything I'd need. They have great work station and seating area/ pull out couch in the entry of the room. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh. They offer plenty of options and an omelet bar. The 2 included drinks with room stay are a great touch. I love how they have the catering services down to a science. They are very quick to turn over empty trays and refill everything as needed. They also are great at cleaning up after guests and clearing tables. I love that they use real plates as well- no wasting plastic plates and cups that go in the trash! Servers and front staff are professional and kind. They also offer a valet service and have an attached parking garage with fees. I know they also have a decent gym and pool as well

Unfortunately, my stay at Embassy Suites Lincoln on June 20 was one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I've ever had. During check-in, an intoxicated woman walked up and inserted herself into the process while I was at the front desk. She stood beside me as I was providing personal information and remained there while I completed my check-in. At one point, she was standing so close that my husband and I had to ask her to move so I could even insert my credit card into the payment terminal. What was most concerning wasn't the intoxicated guest , it was that the front desk employee did absolutely nothing. No request for her to step back. No attempt to protect my privacy. No effort to maintain order or provide a secure check-in experience. Allowing another guest to stand within arm's reach while someone is sharing personal information and using a credit card is completely unacceptable. When we raised our concerns, we were told there was nothing the hotel could do because we booked through Expedia. After contacting Expedia, someone identifying themselves as the front desk manager called our room, apologized for the experience, and offered a refund. However, when I followed up later, the hotel denied that this phone call ever took place. The lack of professionalism, failure to protect guest privacy, and conflicting responses afterward are deeply concerning. This experience falls far below the standard I've come to expect from Hilton. I hope hotel leadership reviews their front desk procedures, staff training, and security practices so that no other guest has to experience this. This wasn't simply poor customer service, it was a failure to safeguard a guest's privacy during check-in. That should concern anyone staying at this property.

Remarkably inexpensive for the high-quality stay, and lots of great restaurants nearby that are also remarkably inexpensive compared to what we used to in Los Angeles. Upon entering, there was a seal put on the door My remote was placed in a plastic bag (liner bags used for ice buckets), but there was visible stains (possibly splash of coffee with cream?), so I decided to wipe it down. The alcohol pads were FILTHY. On the plus side, there is plenty of sanitizing stations placed through the hotel. Hot breakfast was available for $6.95, and is basically a buffet but the staff serves it for you. Service was excellent, and there were tables reserved for social distancing purposes. Unfortunately I think that guests moved these "reserved for social distancing" signs for their own convenience, and a maskless family of four ended up sitting directly next to me, which made me uneasy. I am here on business that requires a 15ft cargo van that would not fit in the garage. The front desk was knowledgeable enough to know the closest parking lot that could accommodate large vehicles. I was very appreciative as I searched for awhile before calling the front desk. It was 2-3 block walk, but it's better than parking in the 2-hr street parking!

I went to a conference here (the reason for staying), and it was set up really nicely, there were no complaints there. I think for the price ($266 total for one night), it's a poor value for what you get, but if you don't mind overpaying for a good location this is your place.
