Packed on Valentine's Day before our shows, so it's clear it's more than just a hotel bar that residents frequent. Lincoln doesn't have too many stops for craft cocktails, so this is a nice find. My first selection was a whiskey-based with smoked rosemary rim. My husband got something with absthinhe in it. Our other friend ordered what looked like a drink version of an orange cream pie. So fun and the ambiance can't be beat. Drinks typical range 15-20 for fancy cocktails. read more

We stayed at this place one night in June 2023 and for four consecutive nights in August 2024. While I'd like the hotel better if the individual bathrooms had tubs and traditional doors that seal, and if the breakfast menu was more extensive, I really have only one serious gripe--the management's handling (or should I say, MIShandling!) of a 4:30 a.m. fire alarm on 08/25/24! The alarm was apparently caused by some malfunction in the alarm system, not by an actual fire or anyone maliciously pulling an alarm handle inside. So, if I'd been the manager or owner, I would have been racing through the crowd of sleepy lodgers out front, handing out free drink coupons or free breakfast coupons or half-off room stay coupons. We never even got an apology from anyone!!! read more

The specific reasons why I booked this hotel were because it advertised an airport shuttle, laundry/dry cleaning, and room service. My spouse and I were flying in to Kansas City, MO. Due to a storm, our plane was unable to land in KC and was diverted to the Lincoln, NE airport instead. While at the airport, I called the hotel to inquire the location of the shuttle. The representative from the hotel was pleasant, but informed there was no shuttle due to being short staffed. When checking in, I inquired about laundry. The representative reported they do not have laundry available on the weekends. They should've at least advertised that because that was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. This afternoon, I called for room service. I was informed the restaurant staff called in and there is no room service. I have no complaints about the room. The room is quiet, spacious and the bed is comfortable. All staff I have encountered have been courteous and pleasant. read more

It's my Birthday weekend and I'm visiting a new love interest so here I am I'm Nebraska? Yep Nebraska! I found this swanky boutique Hotel and it is adorbs! The front desk has this digital waterfall display that is so creatively eye catching. As you turn to the left the bar peeks out with a glass enclosed wine frig, and the bar calls you over for a cocktail.......yep Nebraska!!! The staff is vert friendly and welcoming. Can I tell you about the aaaaahhhhhazing elevator door that has a hand crafted gold design pattern that is jaw dropping! As you walk down the hallway exiting the elevator you sink down into the plushest carpet ever.....you really notice it's like the carpet is kissing your feet and each room number is back lit reminding me of the roaring twenties. I am staying in the king room. Complimentary robes, hair dryer, coffee, frig with drinks, nice size tv. The decor is beautiful champagne gold, a touch of black, taupe, and gold. So pretty and chic. The soft geometric carpet pattern brings everything together. The shower is glass enclosed and has marble from floor to ceiling. There is a black granite countertop sink too. There is also an beautiful stone 3 dimensional wall layered behind the sink. Super adorbs!! I love the way they layered metal horizontally on the door inside the room too. This is a very clean, swanky Hotel, and I definitely don't feel like I'm in Nebraska. Love it!! read more

This is probably the nicest hotel to stay at in Lincoln! It is right by campus, places to eat and a close walk to the Capitol building! Upon arrival, the lobby is STUNNING! There are cornhusker elements to it but in a very chic way. There is a bar/restaurant as well in the lobby that serves food until about 9 on weekdays and 10 on weeknights. I am not sure if it has a name, but the food was just okay (would go to other places in the area if you have the opportunity). The hotel room itself was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also great! I especially loved the heated floors after a long day in NE in the winter! The only complaint I have about this hotel are the rooms on the fourth floor. This is where the skywalk is that connects the garage to the hotel and it is quite loud. People are constantly coming in and out throughout the night and it is difficult to sleep with that constant noise. I'd recommend asking to stay on a different floor if that is an option. read more

So I booked this hotel because it was a weekend trip and I drove from Omaha ! I didn't want to stay at the typical named hotel which is why I chose this one and man am I happy I did! I will be coming back!! Let's me start off by saying the bathroom floor is heated. The last time I encounter heated bathroom floors was in Norway! The design of the room is very modern and it's in the middle of the city so you have access to basically all of downtown. Bars, restaurants and shopping are very close. There is a really good creole restaurant like 5 minutes from the hotel ! I was a little lost with the parking garage at first but I found my way. Just keep in mind that you do have to pay for parking! Overall amazing hotel ! read more

We stayed at the Kindler during our recent visit to Lincoln. Was very impressed with both the look and feel of the property. Very classy without being overly pretentious. Rooms were very spacious and immaculate. Heated floors in the bathroom were a very nice touch. Staff were friendly and strived to make sure we were completely happy with everything. The lounge area was well designed and decorated. We tried a few of their signature cocktails, all of which were outstanding. Bourbon fans should definitely try the Gold Rush. This is my second business trip to Lincoln and I'll be staying at the Kindler Hotel from here on. The hotel is big on style and a unique upscale feel from the minute you enter the hotel. It's modern and art deco design that is tastefully done throughout the entire hotel! It's a 5-minute walk across the street to the historic Haymarket restaurants and nightlife as well as Memorial Stadium. The lobby has great decor, and Boitano's Lounge makes well designed cocktails, draft beer, and it has a really cool water vapor fireplace that separates the restaurant and bar areas. The rooms are well designed with a large flat screen TV, working area, dresser, and a very comfortable bed. I was on the fourth floor with a view right into Haymarket! Of course the hotel just opened and everything is brand new! The staff completes the picture as they are generous and welcoming. read more

My boyfriend and I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Kindler Hotel in Lincoln. We were impressed by EVERYTHING - the rooms are comfortable and inviting, the service was quick and friendly, the decor is spectacular and truly boutique! Perhaps most impressive is the Kindler's ideal location! We were a convenient couple of blocks walk from a big game at Memorial Stadium, and then quickly back inside by the fire, impervious to the post-game hustle and bustle on the street.
