I had a good two night stay here. While the hotel is showing it's age, they maintain it well. The lobby area has been updated but the rest looks early to late 1990s style. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and relatively quiet. The room was showing it's age but again they seem to try to keep it maintained. The bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked. The shower had great water pressure. The parking garage for self parking is easy to navigate but it's a bit of a trek from room to car. Overall, a good stay and would stay here again.

Conveniently located adjacent to the historic Haymarket District, this Marriott offers a great place to stay while visiting restaurants, theater, and athletic events in the state capital. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, however the decor is somewhat dated. Service was fantastic! Cannot say enough for the folks at the front desk regarding the outstanding service and the information they provided. Paid parking is available adjacent to the hotel with EV charging available. Once you're parked you can walk to all the major landmarks. The hotel offers all the services you would expect of a full-service facility including an on property restaurant and full bar. A great place to stay if you are attending an event or just coming down to check out the areas awesome bike trails and parks.

Part of a flight crew that had to divert and stay in Lincoln, the front desk staff was super accommodating and efficient in handling a large, unplanned crew of 8! Rooms aren't updated, but clean and cozy and has a super cute restaurant, Miller Time Pub & Grill I knew I'd grab food from later. Well, Georgia and staff were incredibly personable, patient with my indecisive nature in deciding what to order. Went with the fish and chips and while waiting, had the most delicious Homemade Potato chips at the bar. Go see Georgia and crew...you won't be disappointed!

I always have a good stay at Marriott hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the decor in the lobby with the staircase, piano, and library sitting area. They also have a lunch/dinner restaurant Miller Time Pub the food is good American pub bar food. In the morning they have a cafe with either order by menu or breakfast buffet selection. We ordered by menu. The pool area is indoor bellow the lobby level and me and my wife had it to ourselves at around 9am. But when you stay in a hotel the whole thing really comes down to the room. Outdated and scuffed up furniture. The bathroom was small and dated (the toilet seat had paint missing, it had seen many butts). One good thing in the room though is that the mattress was very comfortable.

Great stay at The Cornhusker. I enjoyed all the snacks and refreshments that the concierge lounge had to offer on the 10th floor. Espresso and trail mix really came in handy before hitting the gym in the lower level. Fitness area was a good size and the pool wasn't busy at all. Lobby was very classic looking and the staff was extremely helpful.

I was speaking and staying at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. I had a great overall experience. I was really grateful for the great lighting, great sound, and great staff before and during my presentation.

My best friend got married at this hotel and I was her bridesmaid. I have my share of pros and cons: PRO - The staircase at the main entrance is beautiful and a great photo opportunity. - The hall where the wedding took place was spacious and breathtaking. - The staff was very professional and polite making the check-in and check-our process very easy. - They provide a shuttle that can take you to and from the airport to the hotel (but be careful because they only function certain hours-which conflicted with many peoples flight schedules causing them to pay for a taxi). CONS - Room always felt damp. In the morning it was too hot and in the nighttime it was too cold. (My poor sister got really sick due to the climate and dampness of the of the room). - Valet was too expensive. They were never around and lost my best friends car, which took them 2 hours to locate it. - I have a small child and called and requested a pack and play and was assured multiple times it would be in my room but it wasn't and took hours for them to provide. - The refrigerador did not work at its full capacity. It barely cooled our beverages or my sons milk.

Stayed here over a Husker home game weekend. The room was expensive for what you get.. but that is Lincoln on a home game weekend. Checkin was "uneventful". Being a Plat Elite with Marriott, I asked about an upgrade (never had to ask when I was with SPG, but seems it never happens with Marriott unless you ask). She looked at me like I had three heads... It was kind of awkward. The Nebraska team stayed at the hotel the night before the game. Didn't bring any drawbacks with that... they were all well behaved and we didn't really hear or see them at all. As far as SPG properties for game day, I would check out the Courtyard Marriott instead... Just didn't seem this place cared about status and the room I got was nothing special. The free shuttle was nice and saved us a few bucks getting to the airport.

View of the capital from the room is beautiful from sunrise to sunset.

It is actually located at 201 N. 7th St. in Lincoln's Historic Haymarket District. This location is good for large fundraisers, dances, & weddings. It is part of an historic train depot , which has since been turned into a Great Hall. It's run by Premier catering. According to their website: - Located in the Haymarket - Beautiful Marble Floors - 19 Foot High Ceilings - Seats up to 425 - Total Meeting Space - 6,100 sq. ft. - Total Number of Meeting Rooms - 1 - Food/Beverage Capabilities - Yes - Total Number of Sleeping Rooms - 0 Photos & a floorplan are also available here: http://www.premiercatering.net/lincolnstation.htm I've been to many different events here, & they all seemed to run smoothly. TIPS: - For out-of-towners, several nice hotels are within walking distance (even in 4" heels - just watch the cobblestone!). - For newlyweds - the Haymarket is a favorite place for outdoor wedding photos. - Bring cash. If there's an ATM inside, I can't find it. - If you're early to an event here, walk a block north & check out the water tower courtyard, brick relief of a train, & the old "retired" trains behind the building. There's also a train jungle gym for kids who need to run out some energy. - Excellent locally breweed beer & homemade ice cream next door, at Lazlo's & Ivanna Cone, respectively. - Use the south doors on the east side of the building. For my mocktail, I tried the Practical Magic (lavendar, house sour, orange bitters), and it was delicious - almost like a sparkling lavendar lemonade. I wish I could have tried the Secret Garden (prickly pear, lime, orange), but they were out of the tequila alternative, and I hadn't thought to sub in real tequila at the time. For my cocktail, I tried the Lavendar and Lace, mostly because I was intrigued by the egg white foam. This is a gorgeous drink to look at and equally to enjoy.
