We chose this hotel based on its name, location, and breakfast included an hour before we arrived. When we first arrived around 10pm, I had to call into the back to ask to be checked in. She didn't once smile, welcome us, or seem to like her job. It was as if I was a bother. But she did say let me know if you need anything. In the room, bed was ok on comfort. Shower was hot. AC works well. Wallpaper in bathroom peeling. Blinds to close off sunlight were broken so I let the front desk know. Awake at 5:30 am. Don't walk barefoot in the room. Carpet needs to be deep cleaned. (Room 423 on 5/30/26) Then, breakfast was a huge disappointment. Out of fruit, eggs, all juices, etc. Worker said the truck runs tomorrow. Not helpful. I wouldn't stay here again with so many choices in the area. read more

I don't have any complaints for this hotel. The noise from the highway is annoying, but I've been places that highway traffic sounded like it was going through the parking lot. So I let it go. Plus the staff at this hotel are all angels, so it definitely deserves 5 stars. read more

It appears have been updated except for the carpet. The carpet looks old but is clean. The beds are comfortable. We are comfortable here.

You automatically get bonus points when you deep clean. This was a good basic Fairfield. Nice and clean. Good size rooms and bathrooms. Ac works well. Close to downtown and shopping. Breakfast was standard variety. Melon was going bad and boiled eggs tasted off. Everything else was good. Most of the reviews are old from before the renovations. We had a pleasant stay. read more

This is the second Fairfield Inn we've stayed at in Little Rock. (The previous one was by the airport). This particular location appears to be a renovated hotel, the other seemed brand new. Nonetheless, this hotel was nice. Our room was on the first floor next to the fitness room and pool. This was AWESOME with kids. It's like they tucked us away from everyone. It was also near the side door, an ice machine and not far from the breakfast area. The room itself was comfortable. Beds and pillows were nice. Shower was good. Everything looked clean. (Slight defects in some of the remodeling) Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. There were enough options for everyone: fresh made waffles, eggs, bacon AND sausage, cereal, oatmeal with toppings bar, fresh cut up fruit, bagels, etc. Wasn't a huge fan of the location. It was tough making a left turn onto the main road. All in all, I liked the newer location near the airport better but this one was still nice. read more

In need of a update. Seriously. If you are looking for a Marriott property in North Little Rock, this is one of a couple choices. Rooms are small. The beds and shower are what we have seen in newer properties. That's nice. The breakfast selection here is superb! A lot of healthy options but also all the normal items minus cereal. Everything was individually packaged for this corona time but was still self serve, which I much appreciated. Check in had some hiccups as we had to cancel our first night (which was also handled very well and nicely!) but the front desk lady was able to get it cleared up quickly and get us in the last room. We didn't use the amenities but the indoor pool and fitness center seemed nice. read more

Got in at 3am and they had us checked in and ready get to bed. Fantastic check in experience! Andrew was training a new lady and they both were friendly night auditors. The room was clean and everything looked brand new. My negative was the only reason we were there was sleep and breakfast. The bed sucked. It was a king that my husband and i slept smooshed together in the middle. It just seemed old and soft and worn out. Breakfast was great and there were lots of options for gluten free. Needs and just hungry healthy needs. I would recommend the hotel at 10 with the caveat of getting a worn mattress. read more

Wow, in a world where hotels are begging for customers, it is amazing when you find a company as large as Fairfield by Marriott forget that "WE" are the customers who have choices. We vote every day with our funds as should I stay at Fairfield by Marriott or another hotel chain? If you are in Little Rock, AR and are looking for a place to stay. Stay anyplace other than Fairfield by Marriott. The receptionist was rude, totally unprofessional and when I expressed my concern as to how a company like Fairfield by Marriott should treating their customers. She then informed me that I could take my business to another hotel chain. I told her that "I will do just that". I took my business to another hotel chain who appreciates my business. We as customers will always have the final choice so stay where we wish and when your met by rude, unprofessional employees. This Fairfield Inn seems like an older hotel. It is no frills and basic; good for a night's sleep. My room was very clean, but nothing special about it. The sheets were clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean. The room was smaller than most I have been in and there was not a frig or microwave. There was a coffee pot. The hotel has free (GOOD) wi-fi and parking. It's conveniently located very close to I-40. And, right down the street is a big mall-type area with every shop and restaurant you could want. The breakfast area was clean and tidy, and well stocked; the lady running it was friendly and helpful. The girl at the front desk was nice too when I checked in. There's a beautiful, indoor pool here. I would stay here again. One notation. My room faced the front of the hotel. I heard a train a couple times at night. It did not bother me at all because I don't care about train noise; but, someone who is sensitive to that may want to ask for a room that faces the rear of the hotel. read more

I've stayed at this Fairfield probably half a dozen times or more the last 2 years so I'm very familiar with it. I'll start by saying if you just need a place to stay for the night this place is good for that but for extended stays its so-so compared to other Marriott hotels. I don't think there has been a single time that there hasn't been some type of maintenance issue with my room. Nothing fatal but its a chronic problem at this location: - ac quit during the day and maintenance left a note they came and fixed it - toilets that are not well secured to the floor - burnt out light bulbs - electrical sockets that didn't work - wall paper peeling That isn't a complete list but things along those lines. This hotel also seems to stay fairly busy... there is an air force base a short drive away, a healthcare facility next door, and it is close to the highway. The parking lot is never empty but only once has it been so full I had to park at the hotel next door. In terms of noise it is hit and miss. I think during the school year it is quieter and noisier during the summer. The noise, when it is noisy, is kids running up and down the halls. The free breakfast includes milk/orange juice, some fruit, yogurt, and cereals. They have a hot buffet with eggs, sausage, bacon, and normally some breakfast potatoes. Some mornings they will have breakfast sandwiches or burritos. The food is ok but not great. There is a Cracker Barrel next door which is normally where I end up eating. Like many hotels the internet connection is slow. I sometimes struggle to get adequate bandwidth to stream a video on my Kindle Fire or watch Netflix on my laptop. File downloads are equally slow. Overall, its ok but I think the hotel needs some updating or better maintenance especially since the nightly price is as high or higher than other nicer Marriotts that I have stayed at. read more

I am going to be generous and give 4 stars, because it is still new and they did upgrade me to a suite. As others have noted it is rather loud near I 40, however when I turned in the AC it was acceptable. PROS: in a great location, there is a mall and many other places to go within a short distance of the hotel. The hotel is newer and it still looks good. Clean A lot of channels on the TV Internet is ok CONS: It is a Fairfield, not a Residence Inn (lol) there is one next door The desks clerks are very difficult to understand, I realize I am in AR, but speak clearly and not the sloppy I'm at home with the family talk. After a very long drive from deep in the heart of Texas, my friend and I stopped here. We almost got a room in a Marriott downtown, but after reading about the expensive and laborious sounding parking, switched to the Fairfield instead. What a great move! First, the hotels downtown didn't have a hot tub, which we were really looking forward to after the drive. And- you can't beat the price difference! But what really made me write this review tonight is the front desk staff. Both women we interacted with were not only very accommodating people who took care of us, but they were also just really nice and genuine people. You can feel really askew after a long long drive (we've been traveling now for 21 hours) and the staff here were so friendly and open to us, it made the pit stop to sleep for a few hours feel much more like a destination on the journey. It's a pretty average nicer roadside hotel. We missed having a mini fridge, but not enough to take points off... Nice pool, hot tub, etc. breakfast, vending machine.... And the parking is ample and free. If/when doing this drive again, I will definitely return. read more

It's a fairfield not a resort. It's clean, cheap and the people have been nice. Not in a bad area and next to cracker barrel. request room away from highway. floors and walls thin, so if you dont like the sound of fat people walking around at night or the sound of semi trucks then you might pay more for another place. read more

Almost 5 stars. I travel almost every week, and have taken to the Fairfield brand, Marriott's economically minded brand that's actually a nice compromise. There's no club lounge, or restaurant, but usually a pool, exercise room, and nice breakfast included. If you get a newer one, your in luck as they are decorated nicely, some with suites. But even the older ones are okay. This is an older Fairfield, that to my surprise has just been renovated. The lobby/check-in looked very nice and modern. Everything was clean and new. Same with my room, nice bedding, linens, TV, desk, and even a mini fridge. The bathroom was fairly impressive, with granite, modern complementary items, and fixtures. But I was surprised that they didn't hit the metal frame around the door with a coat of paint, as it was showing rust. Also, the light switch, and outlet in the bathroom were the original showing dirt and banged up looking. Can't believe they spent thousands replacing everything else but stopped short of these couple items to get a perfect score. Also, they reused the bathtub, which is fine, but it looks a bit worn. Should have refinished that too. Even so, it's very nice and I will probably be back. read more

I stayed here about a year ago and experienced a few minor issues but decided to give them another try en route from OKC to Memphis. No problems whatsoever! The hotel is clean, comfortable and well-located with a friendly/efficient staff - what more can you ask for? Check-in was simple and I received a first floor room near the lobby, just as requested. The front desk helpfully provided me with a toothbrush that I forgot to pack. The breakfast options tasty with a good variety and the lady who runs the kitchen/breakfast area is a jewel - very attentive and congenial. 2 local newspapers and USA Today were provided for guests. The bed was very comfy but I am not a fan of their square pillows. I usually bring my own anyway, so it's all good. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed here one night on our way home from Texas. Over the course of the night, our truck was broken into. The thief(s) smashed the windows out of the cap on the truck and made off with four (4) brand new truck rims and four (4) of our luggage bags. The hotel decided that the loss was no responsibility of theirs and didn't even offer to comp our room to make up for the awful experience. We were then asked to stay quiet about this so as not to bring in any "BAD PUBLICITY". Absolutely atrocious care for their guests. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. read more

In my trek across the US this week, this hotel was by far my worst experience. The "smoke free" hotel reeks of cigarette smoke, the mattresses should have been replaced 10 years ago, the sheets and towels do not appear to be clean. We checked into hotel. The room had a sign on light switch "Do not turn on". None of the lights worked in the room. The front desk clerk said that only the light in the hallway did not work when they checked it earlier today. Our response was the room should have been deemed inoperable versus putting signs on the wall. We receive another room that the drain is barely draining in the shower. Pulled out massive hair from around the drain. Hair was on floor in bathroom. read more

If you accidentally forget something at this hotel you will most likely not get it back. Called and spoke with the lady working just less than 30 min for check out and left my hat in the room. Was out on hold and told that it can be mailed to me. 3 weeks later I still did not receive it back, so I followed up with a phone call and was out on hold 3 times for a total of 30 min then hung up and called back. I was then told that a manager would follow up with me. A week goes by with no manager calling me so I followed up today and no hat and they have not a clue what happened to it and that was it. I'm sure they either tossed it or house keeping has a new hat. I won't stay at this Marriott again and might reconsider staying at other because of the lack of communication on their part. read more

First off I am and will remain a loyal Marriott customer. Saying that when your motel has bed bugs and the response is you must have brought them with you it's humorous at best. I am just shy of 1,800 nights at Marriott properties. Sent pictures of my bites to an RN and MD. Both said bed bugs immediately. I changed rooms and checked out first thing in the morning. read more

It's a Fairfield Inn but on the nicer side of Fairfield with the updates they've recently made. Residence Inn & Cracker Barrel are right next door. Residence Inn was $40 (AAA rate) more for EXACT same bed config (2 Queens) but had a sleeper sofa and kitchenette in addition to being a suite. We didn't need those 'extras', were checking in around midnight and only there to sleep, shower, eat and leave - in the place less than 9 hours total, so wasn't worth paying $40 more to be next door. The Fairfield room was big enough and not cramped for 4. Our room did have a mini fridge built in and it was already cool. The beds are not the memory foam topped but typical spring mattresses, however they were fine and the linens have been updated so had a feel of being updated even though they weren't. We heard a train right before going to sleep but didn't hear one again until morning. Our room overlooked the front parking lot. Slept good, clean and updated rooms, free breakfast (typical cereals, waffle maker, pastries & bagels, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, apple & orange juice - the OJ was actually really good, not like most of the dispensed machine OJ that isn't good) - all fine and better than spending another hour and another $40-$50+ to feed 4 at Cracker Barrel when we had 10 hours of driving ahead of us. Staff was all friendly. Only complaints are they only put 3 towels in a room for 4, had 2 bottles of conditioner but no shampoo, and the plug on wall by the TV didn't work. There were enough other plugs so didn't keep us from charging phones, etc. Not that big a deal really. Will stay here again when passing through. Good value for the $$. read more

Worst room ever! First off, I was a little disgusted by the red scum in the toilet. For sure, they did not clean the toilet, otherwise, I wouldn't have seen it. Second of all, the shower curtain lining had mold and scum on the bottom. Definitely, needed to be changed. What's even more gross is that I had to clean out some hair that was stuck in the drain bc it was clogged up that the water wouldn't go down, and it was not my any of my family's hair. I was a bit upset the fact that my one year old had an accident on the bed and when I bought it up to management, she said the housekeepers would be in about "20 mins" and that it would be the first thing she told them to do, turns out, it took them two hours to get to me to change out the sheets. Also, right before we left, we look everywhere in the room under the bed to make sure we got everything, and I even found a sock that didn't belong to us. All I got to say is that, this place is filthy and cleaned by some lazy housekeepers. Was not impressed! read more

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last two weeks. Both times were under adverse conditions for me. The first time was when my flight arrived very late in Little Rock and I didn't get to the hotel until after 4:30 A.M. The check in was quick and friendly. The room was in perfect condition. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The second stay was after having surgery at the VA Medical Center. It was obvious early in the day that we would be staying over night in the area because of complications encountered during the surgery so my wife called Fairfield Inn and reserved a room. Again, check in was very quick and friendly. The room was perfect again. The following morning our cell phone battery was dead and our charger had broken. They did their best to find us another charger in a box of chargers that had been left by other customers. My wife used the computer in the lobby to notify friends and relatives of what was happening and when we would be home. Every employee encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and everything worked. The breakfast was so-so each time but I can overlook that because everything else was so perfect. read more
