I will give 4 stars to this hotel. The location is super convenient right outside of SeaWorld, and there is a free shuttle you can also take there (but you must make a reservation in advance on their website). The hotel has a nice pool, 24 hour gym and free continental breakfast. The beds and pillows are not that comfortable sadly, but everything else I enjoyed. The rooms are clean and affordable, and the staff are very friendly. If you're going to SeaWorld and want a cheaper hotel that's good quality, I'd recommend this one, just ask for extra pillows as the ones provided are not very supportive. read more

Starting with the BIG positives of my recent stay . . . I was greeted on arrival with a nice smile and very welcoming assistance by the team member at the desk. Thanks!! I was given good instructions about the amenities and directions to the closest elevator to access my room. In the lobby everything was noticeably quite clean, and that continued throughout the 1-nt stay (it's an important detail to me). The elevators were quick and efficient. Entering my room, I found it to be clean and at a nice temperature. The view was of a parking lot, but I was totally OK with that since I'd not planning to be looking outside often. The bed and pillows were good quality and added to an enjoyable nap I took to start my stay. I was rather surprised to discover there was not one single USB connection port in the entire room, and then later in a popular public area. I had my own charger so it wasn't an issue, but that might need to be addressed in this time when most others supply that. Good water pressure (consistent) and hot water did not take long to arrive in the sink/shower. The room is not very insulated from outsides noises, and I heard quite a bit of traffic in the afternoon and overnight. Noise from the hallway was also more than expected, but not at all a deal-breaker on this hotel. There is a CVS very closeby to pick up anything you might have forgotten or chose not to pack for your trip. The pool is shared with the neighboring hotel and there is a bar/grill available for light food orders. The bartender, Monte, was simply perfection in all of the hospitality 'check marks'. Kudos to him for making everyone feel valued . . . as well creating tasty adult beverages. The morning buffet breakfast for this weekend was the one truly negative part of my overall experience, and I do hope it was a fluke. Several of the ladies handling the operation seemingly wanted to get frustrated with me and others for our questions and comments. The onus, though, was totally on them and they were "chasing their tails" without success, and continuously. I do get that Fairfield is now choosing to discontinue self-serve on primary items, but the flow of it was not working. There were no cups by the juice dispenser. There were some plastic utensils missing. Challenges with the waffle stations. Electrical outlets, are available and even old-school ethernet cable connectors, but no USB ports again. There was a tour group who'd arrived early due to an early bus departure so the trash in the cans was to the top early in the morning. Yes, I can still recommend this location to those traveling in the area (an especially if visiting SeaWorld), but I hope they work out the kinks in that breakfast challenge as that can tend to be a 'last impression' and it might not be a good one. read more

I am reviewing a customer-service interaction I had here. SpringHill Suites sent me to Fairfield around 11 PM after telling me they could not provide the room I had reserved. I had booked directly through Marriott 10 days earlier for 2 queens + sofa bed for 3 guests. At Fairfield, I was told they were simply "honoring my reservation" at the same rate and that it was difficult to find another hotel at that hour. I was also told that because my original reservation was not non-refundable, the room configuration was not guaranteed. That was a surprising explanation, particularly for a reservation made 10 days in advance. The Fairfield rate was lower, and the room configuration was not equivalent to what I had reserved. I ultimately spent about 90 minutes going back and forth between the two properties before management found a solution. I want to be clear that this review is specifically about my interaction with Fairfield staff while attempting to resolve the reservation issue. read more

I chose this Fairfield Inn because of the price and the location! It was one of the more affordable Marriott brand hotels around. My friend took me to 3 locations before deciding to stay here. And the surrounding area solidified my decision, since I would be staying without a rental car. You have quite a few dining options within a short walking distance. There is also a trolley stop right there on the main road in case you want to explore... I booked the morning of. And went in around 10 am to see if they happen to have a room available. They did, but I didn't take it because I don't like staying on the first floor. Since I wanted to visit a nearby amusement park, The front desk actually held my luggage until I came back. The customer service during my entire stay was really great! My room: It was a traditional Marriott room. Not old, not too fancy, but and upgraded traditional. It was definitely clean, which is always my #1 concern. Bonus was that it had a microwave and a refrigerator! I knew this would be the perfect room to just relax and chill. I was glad to see they brought the usual Marriott breakfast back. A few help yourself offerings like eggs, Meat and a hash, as well as the waffles. I like that things were spread out. Idk if there was only 1 or 2 people taking care of breakfast but the guy I saw was on top of everything. He made sure there was always food and that everything stayed neat and clean. It actually made me feel comfortable about the standards in this hotel! The outdoor pool was amazing! It was never too crowded. It was relaxing and just loved the view! There was also a jacuzzi. My second time ever in one. The jets/bubbles are timed, which kinda makes you aware that other ppl may be waiting. Don't be a bubble hog lol. Also note that the jacuzzi and pool are shared by the other Marriott property next door. There is also a happy hour snack bar (w/drinks) for you to enjoy. This place definitely served its purpose! I have stayed at several Marriott Hotels over the years but this location is the best I have ever stayed in. Not only is the staff super friendly and helpful - Shout out to Missy and Kaitlyn (sorry If I misspelled your name!) These two ladies made our stay so enjoyable by making us feel so welcome when we arrived after an extremely long drive (we drove in from Illinois for Megacon - that's an 18 hour drive), and letting us know the best place to park to be closest to our room, places in the area to eat and even that Universal Studios offered free parking at 6 pm, which was not well known, and since we would be going there for an event, it was nice not to have to pay the really high parking fee. The beds are sooooo comfortable. I had the best nights rest here. We were here for four days and each day we still felt so welcomed. Missy and Kaitlyn remembered us and would greet us whenever they saw us, which was really nice. It felt like we were greeted by old friends. The free breakfast was just ok, I'm not a fan of dehydrated eggs, but it was better than some others ones I've had. It was nice you could have juice, coffee or tea and several different flavors of tea were available. There were a lot of amenities we didn't take advantage of so I can't comment on those but there is no way you could be bored here. I would like to know how long it takes to get Bonvoy points added to my account because it's been 2 weeks and they aren't there? I will definitely stay here again next year when we come in for Megacon. My only complaint is that we had to pay $18 per day for parking. I mean where else are you going to park for your hotel? It's not like street parking is available and you have a choice. read more

This location had a late night pool area, live music and a 24-hr Starbucks at the connecting hotel. This Fairfield location was one of the cheapest Marriott owned hotel options that I found in this Orlando theme park area. I got one room with two queen bed for about $450 (a total of 5 nights). Unfortunately, the total cost did not include $10 per day onsite parking fee (the front desk staff will give you a parking placard) and I was completely caught off guard when the front desk staff mentioned about it. Our party was greeted by a very lively and energized young lady and she gave us an option to stay on any floor with no additional cost. We ultimately picked the 2nd floor and our room was conveniently located right next to the elevator. [Rides]: Fairfield and Springhill (next door neighbor) offer transportation service to various theme parks such as SeaWorld and Aquatica, Universal Studio and Islands of Adventure, and Disney's EPCOT. All hotel shuttles require reservations as early as one day in advance and as late as one hour in advance. Please note that time listed below are subject to change: * Disney EPCOT - $9 per person round trip; departure from 8:20 AM to 9:40 AM & return from 5:50 PM to 10:30 PM. I made reservations here because I was a hair model for the Primer show in Orlando, and they had a great rate for it. I invited my guy to come with me as it was his birthday weekend and it would be nice to get away for a little bit. The room we were given was a queen room with two beds and a nice bathroom that over looked the main drag. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the front desk staff was nice, except for the guy who didn't want to sell me the coke because he didn't have change. He didn't offer to put it on my room or take a credit card. The way he spoke to me was as if I was below him for my choice. That was the only poor experience. Breakfast was included, and both mornings, my guy brought me food to the room due to issues I was having with my health. The selection he brought was fairly standard, Egg, Sausage, toast, and coffee, and all of it was fine and tasty. i would deff. stay here again. read more

This is our second time staying at this location, but it was rather disappointing. First off for the price they shouldn't be charging for parking. The room we got this time felt extremely outdated. The fridge was making an annoying buzzing sound all evening, and the microwave was in a not ideal spot where the clock light was gleaming all night. This Fairfield has a lot of potential but needs a major makeover. The Starbucks is located at the hotel next to it, so you have to walk over. There's a limited menu late at night. The staff was very friendly and we appreciated our complimentary Marriot water bottles cause of being members. This Fairfield Inn is in a great location for a tourist, near both Discovery Cove and SeaWorld. The hotel is not far from the newer outlet and Universal also. I was very pleased during my short stay here. The hotel is very neat and clean. The lobby area is inviting and the staff were customer service oriented. The landscaping of the hotel is neat because it is right next to another hotel. There is a lake outside in the front (with an alligator warning sign out front). The king bed at this Fairfield was very, very comfortable. The room is the typical FFI room, with a bed, TV, and working desk. The wi-fi was free here. I walked out to the pool area before checking out. It looks good for people with children or who don't mind being around children. There is an outdoor grill restaurant that appeared to have a bar, so that area is probably more for couples or business travelers. The hotel has a small indoor arcade with several games near the Splash Zone pool area. read more

Would not stay here again. Parking is $15. It's not like this is a high end city or location. This hotel proudly displayed they are "independently owned and operated"...so I'm sure the $15 parking is their way of trying to recoup the Marriott franchise cut that gets taken out of the profits the hotel earns. (Other hotels nearby that I've stayed at in the Marriott chain DON'T charge for parking!!) This hotel also charges $6 for a bottle of water instead of giving it to you complimentary. Being a long time Marriott Silver status member, being slapped with $6 for a bottle of water is rude. They also don't have virtual door keys. You need to check in at the front desk. One person checking people in at prime check-in time. You get the joy of waiting behind other customers and the front desk clerk asking why they are staying. Oh, it's your anniversary? Well, congratulations! How long have you been married? Where was your wedding and honeymoon? (Meanwhile you have to pee and are exhausted and sweaty from a day at Disney and you have no patience to listen to these people talk about their wedding situation) Can we just do the virtual check in and key and let everyone else be on their magical way? This Springhill does not match my experience at others across the US. Moldy showers, broken lights and doors that do not close, room not ready, disrespectful front desk staff. The pool was clean and big (could have been deeper) but a very nice experience overall. The breakfast in the morning is very tasty with somethings changing like the turkey sausage and the fruits but would recommend if you want to stop by any theme parks . Checked in to a room with live roaches!! One crawling inside shower (bathroom) wall. A few others large and small under/behind th small couch. And another on wall behind table. After more than 1 we panicked and was able to switch rooms even though hotel was "sold out" Was offered a slight discount in the room Rate and a $50 resort credit to use in their poo bar. (Which went quickly since $12 for a piña colada plus taxes and 18% gratuity included) Other room was ok (no roaches) smelled a bit humid and hallways smelly too but ended up only 2 nights and it was. We booked a suite here during one of the hotels busiest seasons for 4 nights/5 days. Check-out was after the New Yr. I had called in about a week prior to request certain accommodations and was assured they would be met. Upon arrival one accomodation was not met. Due to this inconvenience we were accommodated in another other way. They waived the daily parking fee, but they still put a pending hold on our charge card that was eventually reversed about a week and a half after our return home. This hotel shares a pool with its sister hotel. Starbucks is located at the sister hotel as well. I went to order at the Starbucks and they were out of pretty much everything. Outside of that we had no issues. The hotel was very clean. This is a perfect location for all of your Sea World adventuring needs! This is an Official Sea World Hotel so the perks you get are great. We are platinum pass holders so the perks that stood out for us were the early entrance option and the free quick-queue pass for each day of paid admission. The staff was friendly! The daily breakfast was delicious with something for the adults and toddlers (2yr olds) to enjoy. Some of the menu items changed daily. For example, they change the waffle flavors daily which is nice for someone staying multiple days. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! read more

This is a 3 star stay. Typically I am happy with the Marriott chain but this one is showing its age. Only on elevator was working so you spend alot of time waiting. The room key cards is the old school slot and wait for it to turn green. One key didn't work for some reason. I had thought in the past that you could go keyless using their app but not here. I didn't get a chance to check the breakfast. We went at 9am and was super busy they had ran out of eggs. Finally we didn't have the room cleaned the guy said every other day which is fine but I do expect a change of towels. I asked for some and he said they were all being washed and he would leave some later and of course no follow up. Not like the normal Marriott hotels of past stays. Was just so so. read more

The second I walked in, all I smelled was cigarette smoke. hotel rooms were poorly cleaned, pubic hair in my shower, elevator that barely worked, terrible breakfast, dismissive staff, the list goes on and on. I'm mad I spent money here. I'm mad my company had nowhere else to go as other colleagues of mine had very similar issues. One of them had to ask 4 TIMES for her room to be cleaned because it hadn't been before her stay. They lied EACH TIME saying they cleaned it that day only for her to go back in and find the SAME DIRTY SOCKS FROM THE PREVIOUS ROOM TENENT to be there. It's not a lot to ask for a clean room. Pretty disappointed with this hotel. I had booked 4 rooms for myself and my associates. At around 10pm the hotel granted access to my room to another guest that was checking in. They walked into my room, as the front desk had given them keys and access. HUGE privacy issue. Be careful when booking this hotel, not safe! No accountability from Marriott at all regarding this issue, just crappy apologies from the front desk. Customer service line said just talk to the manager when they come in tomorrow morning. Can't recommend enough to NOT book this hotel that has so little concern for privacy. This was not an error on my end. They did it again! We went to Sea World for my daughter's birthday and this is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel - per my daughter's request. Katie did a great job in booking our room over looking Sea World. Best view ever! I would like to say a special thank you to Yahely and Sandy for going out of their way and making my daughter feel oh so special on her birthday. Both of you went up and above and I SO appreciate that! We stayed here for three days and everyday was great. The breakfast is hearty and filling. We looked forward to it daily. Updated hotel. So, I mentioned, when I confirmed our hotel for the evening, that we were coming to celebrate my sons's birthday. When we arrived, not only do the employees treat you like royalty, but when we got to our room they had a gift bag for him with some snacks and a handwritten postcard telling him happy birthday. You parents know that there is nothing like when your kids get treated well and they feel so special. Big props for that. We will be going back. The breakfast is included and is a hot breakfast bar. Nice hotel. The staff are accommodating and helpful, which is great. They actually remember your name, too, which is a special touch. The rooms are quite nice, so I had no complaints there. Big comfy bed, decent sized bathroom, desk, TV, and even a free fridge and microwave you can use! That was a pleasant surprise. Was disappointing. One day we were left with no bath towels (always fun to take a shower and then notice it), no refill on Kleenex, and sheets not changed in the 7 days we stay we stayed here. How do I knowledge you ask? I'll tell you. My husband was snacking in bed the second night we stayed here and spilled a bag of crushed up chex mix between the sheets. He tried to clean it up that night but even in the last day of staying here we were finding chex mix in the sheets. Maybe that is normal not to change the sheets I'm not sure but I wanted to note it. The worst part was the bed. It was very hard and lumpy. We never got a good nights rest and woke up several times a night with back pain. If we had the money to pay for another room/hotel for the week we def would have. I tried to get a new room but they were booked. It got so bad I tried to move to another hotel. We got this using my aunts Marriott points and since we were not the members we could not alter the reservations. I didn't want to bother her so we stuck it out. She is elderly and I didn't want her to feel bad. So we sucked it up. I wished they had a full length mirror in the room also. Being a girl I like to apply my makeup close to a mirror. The only one in the room was a small one over the tiny desk. I couldn't lean over close enough to see the mirror close. The bathroom mirror was even worse. The sink/counter was so wide it was even worse. Even cheap motels usually have a full length mirror on a wall. I could deal with the maid carts and dirty laundry outside my door daily but the bed was horrible. Anyway I would just stay somewhere else. I'm very impressed with the friendly customer service we received from the moment we arrived. I booked my room online as I traveled. I relied on Yelp to find a suitable hotel. I was greeted by Natasha around 9pm. She informed us of the amenities. Free breakfast, hours for the pool and Starbucks. Natasha even guided us to the desk to register for free quick Q passes to Seaworld. When we opened our room door we could smell the cleanliness. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. The staff during breakfast was very hospitable. What started off as a one night stay turned into a two night stay. I just traveled from a Luxury hotel in Miami and the customer service in this hotel surpassed theirs... I will be planning a family vacation when I return home. Booked this hotel with a Discovery Cove package. Was pleasantly surprised at how modern the hotel lobby was. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and a good size. Parking was cheaper then other hotels I looked at and readily available. Close proximity to SeaWorld and walking distance to Discovery Cove. My kids had a blast in the pool. Especially loved the shallow play area for my littler one. CVS is right next door for any needs or forgotten items. read more

Right off the bat I need to say the bed was really stiff, I ended up buying a mattress pad so I could sleep after the first night. Other than the bed the hotel was great. Our room always looked nice and housekeeping left us cute towel decorations. The breakfast was also really good. They had waffles, oatmeal, bagels, and eggs and various meats, and fruit. And lots of juices and milk, I was impressed. Our room was small, but clean and they had lots of towels! The pool and hot tub were nice and big as well. read more

needed a room for the night at Orlando Airport because my young son and I were coming in late at night and just wanted a decent place near the airport that offered a shuttle so we could get to/from the airport easily. Well, this was not it. No one manned the phones, so I called and called 9 times, pressing various options and letting it ring and ring about 30 times until the phone eventually disconnected. Finally, I saw a driver from a Courtyard Marriott who reluctantly, but thankfully, brought me to the property (Fairfield) where I had prepaid my reservation. Then came all the excuses as to why they hadn't answered the phone and dispatched a shuttle, followed by a, "Here's your key." Didn't tell me about breakfast, the gym, nothing, just a get-out-of-my-face attitude. The room we were given at around 2:00 am had a sink that would not drain and required that we be moved to a different room. The next day, I asked to speak to a manager, who kept me waiting 15 minutes, and didn't even apologize for the fiasco, but made more excuses. I am not a fan. Clearly, this hotel thinks that guests have no other options. Avoid if you can or prepare to take a taxi, even though they supposedly provide a 24-hour shuttle. read more

The hotel is directly across the street from SeaWorld and they offer "quick Q" passes to skip the lines and reserved show seating for FREE to hotel guests! A convenient shuttle to all area parks saved us money on a rental car. The pool and hot tub were very clean and we'll kept. The pool bar had good food, and the service was well beyond my expectations. I was officially "wow'd" with Fairfield Inn!! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price. I will DEFINATELY be staying here again! This is now officially my Florida Vacation hotel! read more

Meh.... I booked a room here as part of a family vacation to SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica in March for a July trip, at which time I paid for everything. The location seemed great since they are very close to all the SeaWorld partner attractions. When we arrived to Fairfield, they were full and didn't have the room type that I paid for 4 months in advance. After about a 40 minute wait, we finally got into a room with one less bed, so my son had to sleep on the pullout bed from the sofa. It would have been okay if they'd refunded a bit of my money, but they didn't even offer. When I asked, I was told they could not since my current room was considered an upgrade since it has two televisions and is considered a suite. They tried to play it off like they were doing me a favour. My son doesn't get to sleep on a real bed but fine, whatever... When we got up to the room, we instantly noticed that it smelled terrible. Like mold that had been febreezed over to try to hide. No surprise, since there is no dehumidifying agents in the room at all. There is an air conditioner near the window on the far side of the "suite" that we tried to use to dehumidify but for the duration of our stay the room was smelly, and sticky with terrible humidity but freezing cold. There wasn't even a fan in the bathroom so showertime means the steam just stays in the restroom. We were there for 8 days, but the maid only serviced our room three times, and it wasn't until after 3 pm. Not once did they change the sheets or blankets on the bed. I don't know how that is supposed to be okay. They did have a nice enough selection for the complimentary breakfast and a free shuttle to SeaWorld and Aquatica, so that was good; but not $1300 good. Next time, we'll be staying at a Hilton property. We've learned our lesson. read more

We loved this hotel!! It was super clean and up to date! The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. They cleaned our room every day and left little thank you notes. My kids loved the pool it was perfect for our family. We got to enjoy our days at SeaWorld with the quick passes the hotel gave us for the rides it was awesome! The beds are hard as a rock tho that's my only complaint. Breakfast was so good I'm spoiled now! read more
