This is a great location and the room was clean and I loved the fact it had a fridge and microwave. There was a Bluetooth speaker and a smart tv so I could utilize my streaming services. Aside from the great customer service they really lost me at the breakfast they offered. There were absolutely no options for bacon, sausage or any protein . Overall, the stay served its purpose but the breakfast lacked .

Zip ties holding the closet door up

This was by far the worst room I have ever been in. The room smelled like a sweaty swamp, the closet door was held together with zip ties, and the air conditioner was broken. As for the Fairfield Guarantee, it is not actually a guarantee, just a marketing tag line so you will be tricked into thinking that they may take care of issues. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This Fairfield Inn is located just north of Ontario Mills and is very close to the airport. It is located in what I'll call Hotel Row, because there are over five other Marriotts, Hyatts and Hilton brands, literally on top of each other. We came here on one of our most recent SoCal sojourn. But as I wrote in my Murrieta Courtyard review, we stayed at two very different Marriotts. Of the two, this one had a slightly smaller room, with a seating area, but no chair or couch. Huh? It did have a huge 40" Samsung TV and a immaculately kept room. Downstairs it was a party, with an open cash bar at night and a free hot breakfast in the morning. Very impressive. It reminded me of what Hyatt is trying to do with their Hyatt Place hotels, where the check-in area doubles as a bar at night. We'll definitely will be back.

Unhygienic shower heads with dirty residue

This was absolutely the WORST hotel stay I have ever had in my life. Marriott and specifically this hotel franchise Marriott Fairfield in Ontario have lost a customer for life. First and last stay. NEVER AGAIN. TAKE YOUR Money and BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. The conditions of the room were neglected, unhygienic, the rooms had a moldy and musty smell as if they had not been cleaned in a long time and not cleaned thoroughly as mold and residue had built up on their fixtures. There were red and brown dark blood-like stains on the carpet as well as yellow liquid drip stains that look like bodily fluids on the walls. It wasn't just one room either. The supervisor was rude and refused to resolve the issue, refused to refund so I could stay at another hotel. I was switched to a room for people with disabilities since they told me it was the only room open when I brought up the conditions of the the King size room because the King size room I booked had an unhygienic shower head and stains in the shower. However the ADA King size room for people with disabilities also had similar unhygienic conditions. It is unacceptable that they offer rooms in such conditions and how many people with disabilities have been denied clean and acceptable living conditions due to their neglect. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This facility is not worth the money and time. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at a hotel that cares for guests and offers clean and hygienic conditions because the Marriott Fairfield in Ontario does not care and only cares about the money they can keep even if the service and conditions of the rooms are unclean and not up to standard. Like other reviews dating back for years, the manager was dishonest in this situation as well. They have a shady pattern. Steer clear of this shady place!!!

A few things missing!!! Positives: COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!!!!! This place did really well. The front desk staff was very kind and personable, for all three days, day and night. Whoever it was said something to you on entry and exit. The rooms were clean, with modern smart TVs (I didn't feel comfortable entering my Netflix, Hulu, Amazon credentials on a public TV). Fridge and Microwave in rooms. Outlets and modern usb plugs right above the night stand for changing phone or devices. It right next to CHP so your not worried about getting your car broken into as much. Dislikes/ Points for improvement: It's right next to CHP so when they get on shift they test their sirens and horns before taking out their vehicles ( it wasn't too bad but I did hear it). If you have a room on the far side you should be fine. I saw cookies at the front door but I didn't know how old they were. They should have a warmer in the kitchen area and whoever walks in the person at the front desk can let guest know there are free warm chocolate chip cookies available (I've been at a hotel that did this before and it's definitely a wow that gives the 5th star on a review). This place covers a hotels basics really well and a little bit more. If you think this review was useful, cool, or funny hit the button below, thanks for reading.

I arrived around 1:30 a.m. to find the front doors locked, but it was easy to use the phone outside to reach the front desk, and I was buzzed in within seconds. Quick, smooth, and reassuringly secure. The late night check-in process was hassle-free, which is exactly what you want after a long drive. The room itself felt freshly renovated, too. Everything looked, felt, and smelled clean, modern, and well maintained. It was also impressively spacious, with plenty of room to spread out, a comfortable bed, and a convenient in-room mini fridge (which, the older I get, is one of the best perks of staying at a Hampton Inn). The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly, which is always a plus when you just want to unwind and watch YouTube videos before bed. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast was pretty standard. I never really eat breakfast, but they had a small selection of hot (and ultra processed) breakfast foods like premade English muffin and egg sandwiches and sausage patties. I opted for a small container of strawberry yogurt. If you travel with a fur baby in tow, the hotel was very pet-friendly. I noticed that they even have a little doggie water bowl in the lobby, which is a thoughtful detail for anyone traveling with their four legged friends. I wish my cats liked to travel. Parking was free, plentiful, and well-lit, and the surrounding area felt very safe. The hotel is located in a suburban-style area near office parks and a mall, with tons of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I could see that being super convenient if you're staying longer than a night. The only downside is the price. I paid around $200 for one night, which feels a bit steep for the area. At least the quality of the room, the cleanliness, and the overall service made it feel (almost) worth it. I also loved that it's a completely non-smoking property, which really adds to the fresh, clean atmosphere. Overall, this is a reliable, comfortable, and well-maintained stopover hotel. It's perfect for road trippers, business travelers, or anyone needing a clean, safe place to recharge.

This Inn has a kitchen, sofa, and desk. Please remember to leave pen and paper in the room if possible, and find a way to reduce the noise from the AC unit. Also, the office space downstairs is well Equipped and would work better if the work desk was adjustable. It was difficult for me to use it at the fixed height . She did everything she could to assist me night after night. She gave us change for the laundry, necessities we forgot from our apt having to leave so abruptly, parking passes. She did it all with a smile. I wish I got a picture of her. The hotel has a very clean workout room. We got a room with a full kitchen. It even had a dishwasher. Where things fell short were the other guests. They would attend daily breakfast unshowered and smelled bad. The service staff over all were pretty rude my entire week. I did not care for that. There was one older lady in the dining hall who was sweet however. I left notes for my housekeeper. She did make the beds neatly, however she took apart my shower and left it like that one time. Another she threw a soaking wet towel I used to step on in the shower to prevent athletes foot in the corner of the shower. I started ringing out the water after that and hanging it up. I still left her a tip and a gift. Also my last 3 days someone occupied next door and it stunk to high hell of curry. I had to clog my sink drains with the stoppers and put a towel under my front door. So the walls are thin. The pool was merky so my boys only swam once. Also homeless would sneak in and do laundry and be in the lobby drinking beer. One was escorted out by police one day. Parking was safe. Another girl who was at the front desk during the day always greeted us with a smile too but I did not catch her name. Overall the location couldn't be matched I was one Main Street over from my apt.

My experience here was decent, but would I stay here again? Probably not, and I'll explain why. First, parking was a breeze, and my check-in was fast and easy. Although, I wish the employees would have at least given me a run down on the hotel surroundings and what they offer here. I didn't know complimentary coffee was available, until after I returned from going out to buy some. I didn't walk through the lobby when I left, so I didn't see it until I returned. Also, it was my first time having to use a room key to enter the side doors of a hotel. I've never had to use a room key to enter a hotel before, could be for security reasons. Being from out of town, it would have been nice to know ahead of time at check-in that it was required to enter the side doors. The room itself was clean and the beds reasonably comfortable, but it definitely needs some repairs. The mini fridge wouldn't open properly. It was kind of slanted at an angle and made a loud buzzing sound at night. The sliding door to the bathroom seemed to be off track and had a big gap when closed. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and made it hard to sleep comfortably at night. When I asked the concierge about turning it off, he just said to unplug it. Overall, this hotel served it's purpose and the location seems to be safe. You don't have too drive far to get to restaurants or shopping centers. It made it very convenient. It's not a bad place to stay if you're on a budget, but just be aware your room may be outdated and need repairs.

While there were some hiccups along the way - the front desk team showed care and empathy, and follow through - which is why I'm rating my experience as "five stars". To clarify - my experience and imo - the property - is five stars in its class. It doesn't mean its a five star hotel class (Intercontinental/Fairmont) - but it is five stars in its hotel category (mid-range). That said - onto the review! I was pleasantly greeted by Matt and Alyssa at check-in. My request I made via the Marriott Bonvoy app for a high floor/away from elevator was honored, and I had a nice placement closer to the Embassy Suites side (I didn't want to be close to the Haven St. side due to noise concerns). My room on the 4th floor was spacious! I'm happy they left the air conditioning on since Ontario/Socal was going through a nightmare heatwave this past weekend. As you can see from my photos - my King Suite had a lot of extra space - a couch, work desk, microwave/fridge/coffeemaker station. The TV wasn't working (no signal?), but it's nice to have a high tech monitor if you need to use it. Spacious bathroom, walk-in shower, but huge vanity with a closeup mirror. Tons of closet and storage space. Wifi was free since I booked directly through Marriott - and the connection was fast and solid my entire stay. There's a little market by the front desk with chips, snacks, drinks if you need - but there's also a Costco Business Center, Costco Gas, Starbucks and a yummy poke bowl spot across the street. Stater Bros is 10 minutes down the street, and the Panda Inn (predecessor to Panda Express) is also 10 minutes away from the hotel. The first issue that came up though as I was settling down for a quick nap after my stressful drive - there was a noticeable sound of water dripping. At first, I tried to ignore it. Yea that didn't work too well, as the noise didn't go away. So I went hunting for the source of this mysterious noise. Turned out, the AC was leaking! Specifically, the condensation was leaking. I get it - it's a heatwave, its a machine, it's going to break down at some point. So I went downstairs to the front desk to voice my concern... Alyssa listened with empathy, and after I showed her a short video I took of the leak - said she would get maintenance to take a look. I returned back to my hotel room - but on my way back - literally ran into Matt (the FDA that checked me in earlier) and Raul, the hotel's maintenance guru. They told me they were also on their way to take a look at my AC leak. Raul worked his magic, while Matt kept me company. The leak seem resolved after about 30 minutes after Raul applied a fix. I was pleasantly surprised. Rather than having to wait an unknown amount of time to get my AC leak looked at - I literally ran into the very people that were notified about my issue on my way back to my room! The thing about customer service issues - if you have a problem, bring it up to staff - and then (here's the important part) - give them a chance to fix it. Too many times, people are quick to complain because the fix isn't instant. Something like an AC leak is not going to resolve itself by someone pressing a button. Give the people who can help you a chance to remedy your concern. And be calm - don't take it out on them either. It's not their fault their machine broke in the middle of a heatwave. The rest of my stay was uneventful. The leak returned Sunday night - but Iuckily I had packed ear plugs, so just plugged my ears and went back to sleep. I didn't receive any service related issues - my room was still very comfortable with the strong AC during this heatwave. Complimentary breakfast was great. Water pressure and hot water was great. They have a pool and decent gym as well. Parking is $12/night - but this makes sense for a hotel that's across the street from Ontario Airport. Unlike some of the other hotels I've stayed at that are in the middle of nowhere, a parking fee does make sense here to ensure there's sufficient spots for hotel guests - not just air travelers trying to avoid paying for parking at the airport. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. Thanks to Alyssa, Matt, Elizabeth, Raul (maintenance), Carlota (housekeeping). If I ever find myself out in the Ontario airport area - I'll most likely book my stay here.

We had originally planned to stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott, but due to the Garden Grove chemical spill and reports at the time of a possible explosion, we contacted the hotel to see whether our reservation could be rescheduled. We were fully aware of the hotel's policy and understood that rescheduling might not normally be permitted. After speaking with a supervisor named Alondra, we were told that given the circumstances, rescheduling our stay for a later date would not be a problem. Based on that assurance, we believed the matter had been resolved. However, after a week passed without receiving any confirmation, we called back and were informed that the hotel would not honor the arrangement that had previously been approved. Despite the commitment that was made to us, the hotel ultimately refused to follow through. The issue is not the policy itself--we understood the policy from the beginning. The issue is that we were given a clear commitment by hotel management and then later told something completely different. For that reason, prospective guests should be aware that our experience raised serious concerns about the hotel's reliability and integrity when it comes to honoring commitments made to customers.
