While traveling to Bisbee we decided to stop in Sierra Vista for the night. For whatever reason the Fairfield Inn was the only place left with an opening and I mean we literally got the very last room. Weird because how do I nicely say Sierra Vista is run down and awful. Service here was wonderful. Checking in and out was easy. Their free breakfast was good and even the man working the food area was nice and friendly. Bedsheets comfortable, but the pillows were god awful. We all woke up multiple times in the night. Rooms were clean and pool well kept. I don't think we'd ever come back to Sierra Vista again and most likely would stay elsewhere, but if we did I'd definitely stay here again. read more

Great place to stay if you have to go to Sierra Vista. We were welcomed the minute we walked in by Myrna who was so great! The lobby is bright, large and clean. Our room was 215 executive with 2 double beds. Loved the layout of the room with plenty of room for our sports equipment bags and relaxing. Super clean, beds were comfy and they give you extra pillows because they are super mushy. The pool area is a nice size and they do have a hot tub as well. They handed us a set of rules and expectations for sports team which was appreciated to know right off the bat and to be able to share with the boys. The location was nice, right by the mall and several restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was standard but from what I saw quite nice. There was even a host who helped the littler guests and their parents. Overall, one of the best choices in this town for sure! read more

Perhaps the friendliest and most welcoming staff ever. Just a wonderful night. We were in town for a special occasion and the lady that checked us in was more excited about the occasion than we were. When we got to the room there was a wonderful gift basket full of goodies. There was even a personalized card, really made our day and we are still talking about it. A nice clean and centralized property and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. This morning another lady remembered that yesterday was our anniversary and also seemed excited. Before we left she recommended we visit a local museum which we did and really appreciate the recommendation. My highest recommendation. read more

Stayed here on 4/2/23. Wonderful service. Both the evening desk associate and the morning one. The lady in the morning helped me out with bandaids and let me know where the closest atm was. Room was very clean. I slept so well. I liked the bathroom products and how they were in large pump dispensers. So much easier to use than the little bottles, plus better for the environment. I didn't have much hope for the breakfast but it was surprisingly good. I eat low carb and figured there wouldn't be much of an option. I was wrong. I had eggs, sausage, and one of the crustless quiches, which was amazing. There were many other carby options: breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal with lots of add ins and cereals to name a few. The decaf coffee was the best brewed coffee I have had in a long time. I would definitely stay here again. Kind of wish I could've stayed another night but I had to get back on trail. read more

I love Marriott but this place is not good. We were going to Tombstone and booked a normal room. Turns out I had to wind up working, so when I got to the hotel, I asked to upgrade to the executive suite which is about $70 or so more income for them. The lady at the front desk said they didn't have any suites available so we checked in. When I got to the room, I check the website, and I could book an executive suite. I called the front desk and explained I could book a suite online. She said she'd call the manager. She called me back and said there was no availability. I called Marriott customer service to see if they showed availability (or if it was a user error on my part). They confirmed that the hotel appeared to have multiple suites available - at least one king suite and one double bed suite. I went back down to the front desk and told her that the website said there were rooms. I asked her to look for herself. She continued to say the web site must be wrong and she had no availability. So does this mean that Marriott continues to show available rooms after they are sold out and a manager can't update the web site? I'm not sure. But what I do know is that this is not an ethical business practice. Something is not the truth in this scenario and I would steer clear of this hotel until Marriott figures out how to fix it. The chain is typically amazing so I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in this issue. read more

Spent more than 45 days at this hotel. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly, helpful, and generally enjoyable. Room was reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately, there are no freezers in the rooms so one is limited to a very small refrigerator. once we worked out the confusion with housekeeping, the housekeeper went out of her way to accommodate my very strange work schedule. The front desk staff went way beyond the call of duty. My company worked extensively in the lobby using the conference tables. They provided cookies and beverages whenever they could. Breakfast does not vary day by day. so if you're staying at this hotel for an extended period, you will get bored with the breakfast after a few days. read more

Stayed here for 10 days and the service was great. I had an issue with my reservation and they quickly fixed it for me and got me squared away without any issues. The beds are comfortable and the building is well insulated and I didn't hear any noise from outside or my neighbors during my stay. I usually stay at Hilton hotels only but the service I get at this Fairfield location is unmatched in the area. I often need to extend my reservations and have food delivered. When it comes to extending they make the process completely painless as long as they have availability. The Radisson will make you make a completely new reservation or switch rooms. They also don't stop my Doordash orders at the front desk, a lot of Hilton hotels have done that. The staff is always very nice and the rooms are always clean. Great place to stay. read more

We had a nice stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Above all, the room was clean! I appreciated that so much. Housekeeping came by every day, to tidy the beds & provide clean towels & freshen up the bathroom. Towels were really soft; maybe a few extras would've been nice. The breakfast buffet every morning was kept clean & well supplied. The food was the same every morning--there were hot scrambled eggs, turkey & pork sausage patties, make-it-yourself waffle machine, & lots of other selections. Front desk personnel were very courteous & professional. We'll definitely stay at this hotel again, highly recommend! read more

In short....comfortable clean suite! Separate living room area (no door though). Super close to Sierra Vista mall and multiple restaurants. I make it a point to stay in this hotel each time I visit S.V. Update: I'm adding the final star due to Maria! Such great service and with a smile! She goes around to each guest to ensure they have what they need! In addition, she aggressively ensures the coffee and food (especially the bacon!!!) remains stocked. If she was an IT expert, I would try and lure her away from Marriott to work in my organization! Great job to Marriott for attracting and keeping such dedicated personnel. P.S. To the unsung heroes that keep our rooms clean and tidy! I wish I could meet them in person to express how grateful I am to return each day to a refreshed room. I feel like a VIP! read more

Told me my credit card was invalid. It was not. And that there machine didn't really take American Express. Then we checked out a day early way before check out time and was still charged for the night. They told me I had to give them 24 hrs notice if I was checking out early. I have never had this happen before at a Marriott and I have Ambassador Elite status. read more

Fairfield and Marriott Town place are in the same plaza, rooms are generally the same price. I was a bit disappointed after staying in their sister property with the room size here. The staff was very friendly and the property is well kept. Besides the addition of a charging station for all android and apple devices on the night stand there weren't any wow factors for the price point. read more

We spent a week here helping our son and his family move back home. We were beyond happy here. This hotel we have stayed here many times visiting our son. Everything, even with Covid, was very well taken care of. Justin checked us in and was very accommodating all week when we he was there. Everyone actually was very cordial and helpful. We stayed here one night last weekend (7/7/18). I was really impressed by this hotel. It was very clean and well kept. Nice lobby area, guest laundry, very clean pool and jacuzzi. We booked two rooms which they were able to upgrade up to adjoining rooms. Eva checked us in and she was delightful! She provided recommendations for restaurants in the area and even brought us a gift of snacks and goodies to our room, which my kids loved. Most websites says this is a 2-2.5 star hotel but I bet that will change soon with the new renovations complete. As we walked into the lobby the hotel looked and smelled brand new and learned it was just renovated. Eva greeted us at the reception desk and she was super nice, professional and full of great information. She went out of her way to make us very happy customers and she succeeded. The next day Eva gave us so much information about Tombstone that our visit there was so much better. She is truly a sincere amazing person. Thank you Eva! Everything about this hotel is great. There are 3 floors (and they do have an elevator!) Our room was a modern executive king. It was new and immaculate with all the right touches. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The TVs were large and high quality. There are plenty of plugs for devices throughout the room. There's a microwave, fridge and coffee pot. Breakfast and WiFi included with your stay. Even the window shades are unique (for a hotel) and pretty!The location is very convenient yet quiet. There is a Texas Roadhouse, Applebee's and Jack in the Box within walking distance and ample amount of other restaurants in the immediate area. There's a small gym, pool/spa and a very inviting hotel lobby with sofa, chairs etc. There's a small room where they have snacks, soft drinks, ice cream and foods to put in the microwave (all for purchase). Really a nice place to stay. Also it's an easy 20 minute drive to Tombstone. Because of this great experience I will now go out of my way to look for Marriott owned hotels for our next trip. read more

This Fairfield Inn is newly remodeled and they did a great job. Decor is contemporary and fresh. Bed, pillows and linens are comfortable. Nice long counter in the bathroom. Has separate sitting area with nice size TV. Had my favorite things for breakfast - eggs, salsa, cheese. There also were biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage as hot selections. Great selection of fresh fruit - whole strawberries, blueberries, honeydew (in addition to apples and bananas which are always available). Waffle batter was exceptional, hot oatmeal and toppings also available. All things considered, a great value. read more

What can I say...business trip to Sierra Vista, AZ...needed a place to stay...and this was a good and solid hotel. As it is a Fairfield, it was not fancy...but...for me...hotels need to be a few simple things: (1) clean, (2) quiet, (3) comfortable bed, (4) solid internet service, (5) a bit of a convenience store (i.e. water/Gatorade available). Fairfield Inn & Suites I really am so appreciative of all they did for us while we were there. I have a bunch of personal names of people that we personally had interaction with. I do not remember exactly what each one of them did it was a couple months ago. I finally came across the paper that had all the names on it. This was one of the better Marriot visits we have had. My husband travels a lot for work and me and my dog which is a service animal travel with him at times. So here is the names and many thanks goes to the following: Lamont, Eva, Myra, Catin, Justin, Amanda, George, Miriah. The property is clearly on the "newer" side - with an appealing modern lobby, decorated in light woodsy tones, and greenish /blue hues. It was a welcome surrounding after almost 7 hrs of flying and just about 2 hrs of driving. I'm a long-time Marriott customer and , yes, I know what I want from my hotel. So while I was pleased with the surroundings of the large lobby, I was non too pleased with the fact that my reservation somehow did not reflect my preference of a king-sized room, on a high floor, and definitely away from the elevator. A reservation which was made over two weeks ago. I guess my displeasure was very clearly captured on my face. I must say the lady at the front desk ( I simply cannot refer to her as a "clerk ") went all out to help resolve the problem, even though she first advised the property was completely sold out. Yes, I'm a platinum member, and I was "this-close" to pulling rank, but she came up with a solution, and literally saved me from the night of elevator ding-dong and insomnia. The breakfast was the usual fare, but very often replenished: the hotel was full of military personnel: hungry soldiers in need of "fuel" before heading off to the military base. The staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient. Enjoy your stay here.... For those who plan to stay longer than overnight, literally across the parking lot is the Sierra Valley mall, with Dillard's and other shops. And I'm told there is an art gallery /exhibit inside the mall, which includes local artists' work. Unfortunately, I arrived after the mall closed, and left way before it reopened. So no luck. But maybe you will find the time to check it out. read more

Platinum Marriott Member and this was a nice stay over for a long day in Tombstone and Bisbee. Huge lobby, pleasant staff, and room just as indicated in my preferences. Newer hotel, much nicer than some other Fairfield Inn hotels that I've visited before. Normally don't stay in this Marriott line, however one of the better properties. Great location, does have a pool & hot tub, missed breakfast, but will assume it's the usually basic buffet that's also offered at Residence Inn. read more

Great location toward the center of town (is there a center?). It is located within walking distance to the major mall (The Mall at Sierra Vista), Applebees, Jack in the Box and Texas Roadhouse. Staff are professionally friendly and the rooms are clean. The lobby and complimentary breakfast area are both cozily decorated. Ask for a room facing the mall as I think this should be a little quieter than those on the road side. The in wall modular AC unit was a little noisy but overall I am pleased with this hotel and would return. read more

Wow. What a gem this place is. Clean, comfy and quiet. Upon arrival Eva who turned out to be the assistant manager was the best ever. She was like a professional tour guide giving us the best of advice to travel and explore. Thanks to Eva we saw so much more on our journey and the day was better than we expected. My husband and I were booked to stay from Friday evening through Tuesday morning. The hotel room was fairly clean, but didn't have many charging ports for digital devices like cell phones or tablets. The mini fridge was so noisy. It literally sounded like we had a sound wave machine on from the time we'd get in our room to the time we left for the day. The tv was also spotty. They didn't offer alot of channels and when we'd watch something, it would cut out constantly or freeze. The bed was hard and the pillows had no support because they're down filled and fall in on themselves. I had to take 4 pillows to make some sort of decent support while I slept. I also woke up every morning with bites on my legs, which were what I assume mosquito bites. I had to go buy benadryl cream to get through our trip. The room was hot and muggy and we couldn't lower the temp because I think it maxed out to 71, but it never felt cold in there and didn't hear the ac turn on. I usually get cold, but I had to sleep with covers off because I was hot. We figured the hotel was regulating the thermostat. The water pressure in the shower was good and the water was hot, but the bathroom lacked shelf storage to place toiletry items, so you don't have to dig in your suitcase every day. They do give you two rolls of toilet paper, but it's 1 ply and there were 2 wash cloths and 3 towels. The next day as we were leaving for breakfast we asked one of the front desk staff if we could get more toilet paper and wash cloths and she was like you need more already. We just stated again that we needed some toilet paper and wash cloths in our room. The requested items were put in our room, but after the hassle we got we made sure to ask the maids when we got low and they were nice. Never had that happen at other hotels. No gluten free offerings at breakfast. Husband would go down and have some hard boiled eggs with sausage and juice. He said it was okay. I didn't try it. Honestly, when Monday morning rolled around I really wanted to go home because I was tired of being on the road when I could go home and be comfortable. The hotel stay combined with Sierra Vista played a part in the decision because the town offered nothing. Their mall had one department store and most of their businesses closed early and were only open a couple days a week, so there wasn't much to do. read more

1 star for management. Didn't want to refund $100 for a mistaken entry. I'm a business customer bringing a $3,000-$10,000 account to the table... it's not even my money. If it was my money I'd have been furious. As it stands, as an independent contractor and small business owner who spends half his time on the road, I value money. Have already spent a collective 40 some odd nights at 3 other hotels in the area, and expecting to book at least another 30-100 days... just for me. possibly multiple days for another party too. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean. Walls were paper thin and you can hear all the neighbors. Bed leans on the hard side but great pillows. Nice tv. Elevator pretty slow. Hot tub was nice. Disappointed by the internet. Wanted an extra $5-10 a day for mediocre internet. Don't even bother with the basic free one, can't stream at all and web pages barely loading in the am and evening at peak hours. To top it all off, I was either getting bitten by mosquitos or bedbugs the whole time. Ended up with 6 or 7 welts going into winter season. Every morning I woke up with something new that wasn't there the night before. I expected better from Marriott. I was more satisfied with my stay at the windemere across the street. Great customer service. Bed was slightly more comfortable. And best of all - free internet that was extremely fast. read more

We just spent the weekend in this little gem of a "home away from home". It was warm and welcoming from the start, with hot coffee and hot chocolate waiting in the lobby as we entered. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast had ample choices and we were very happy with that meal before we started our long car ride home.
