Perfect because we were exhausted (900 mile driving day) and weren't sure where we were crashing for the night. We met the next day and found out we can further reduce the rate by another 1/3 if we extended our stay. We're in. The building is 18 miles (26 minutes) from work. It's a nice area with plenty of activity. Easy access to I-275. It's quiet here. Amenities include laundry room, workout room and business center. There's even a large grass park in the back for my dogs, which are more than welcome here. I wish we could have done better on the cost. There's an interesting paradigm happening in the area causing rents to increase all over. But, if you think about it, utilities are included and they offer a decent complimentary breakfast (for Covid times). 11/21

That is fine, but he comes around the corner like we interrupted him and just looked at us. We greeted him, he said "hi". We explain that we are there for two separate check-ins. We have the same last name he hands us both our paperwork together. I hand my dad his with his name on it and I take mine with my name on it. I finish first and he wants the other, I said but I am paying for mine separate, again say my room details and my name. He says ok, tells me to insert my card for my card on file. I do and then my dad does the same. He then tells us about the pending total, and we realized he swapped the cards on the rooms. We tell him what happened and he says, "There is nothing I can do to fix it". That is all he would repeat. The next day a young gentleman with long brown hair at the front desk was able to fix our cards in less than 20 mins, he was very kind and unsure why the older man couldn't help us the night before. Now our room, it was not cleaned well. We had dirt and hair in our tubs, trash under our beds and mind you there is a wood wall, it cannot go deep under the bed, trash behind our nightstands. Our bathroom was left with an almost empty roll of toilet paper and then I went to wash a plate.... the Scrub Mommy was used!! It was no longer in the packaging and had orange stains on it. I was very disappointed in our stay since our stay at Sonesta in Nashville was so great. They do not all keep the same standards!!

Upon arrival we found that it was somewhat difficult to figure out where parking was located based on a lack of signage. It feels somewhat disconnected from the hotel, but we ended up figuring it out. It's definitely located in the campus university neighborhood so a lot of the businesses that come along with it feel like an extension of the campus. The hotel itself was clean and well appointed -we especially appreciated their new fitness center with a variety of weight and exercise equipment. The star of the show was the patio that extends off the exercise room offering a covered gazebo-like setting so that you could take your yoga mat out and do exercise exercises on the patio. The lobby of the hotel offers free coffee in the morning and they sell a variety of snacks. I appreciate that they had Jenny's splendid ice cream mini cups (out of Columbus, OH) but we were sticker-shocked to find out they were charging $11 for these mini cups. The hotel also has a restaurant and rooftop bar which we did not get a chance to check out. Overall a positive experience -maybe not the most warm and inviting as far as staff goes but overall they got the job done!

Located in downtown Cincinnati near the Fountain Square, this hotel is in a excellent location close to many restaurants, landmarks, and the free tram. When we arrived in our Lyft, the bell men came out immediately to help us unload our luggages. The check in was a breeze and we got adjacent rooms on the same floor. The hotel has a decent gym in the basement, a restaurant on the second floor serving casual meals, and a 24 hour convenient store offering candies, beverages, and even umbrellas. As for the room, it was spacious with good storage space, comfortable bed, and a bathroom with a nice shower. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again, but it did have its pros and cons. I'll start with the cons because they were minimal... The valet was understaffed and it impacted my ability to get in and out when needed. They have a great texting system for contacting (and tipping) valets ahead of time and were upfront about asking to give them at least 30 minutes notice. Well, I did that and it still wasn't enough time. One time I notified them well in advance and my car was there, but I ended up waiting at least another 10 minutes for the valet to come back from getting another car before I could get my key. This meant it was upwards of 45 minutes of me waiting. Not ideal. The other con was that the room I was assigned the first night had the loudest humming sound coming from the bathroom that kept me up all night long. It wasn't the white noise that you can usually drown out either. I ended up using a sound machine app on my phone and it still didn't help. I called down to get a new room, which they were happy to do, even upgraded me, but I found it odd when they said they are aware of the issue, there just doesn't seem to be anything they can do about it. As for the pros... The location is prime time baby! Right downtown near restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and the stadium, etc. It was very easy to get to being right off the major interstates that run through Cincy. Their staff were incredibly friendly. I wandered down to the marketplace in the lobby late one night to get a bottle of water and they gave it to me for free. Much appreciated! My rooms (plural since I had to be moved) were extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. Both had a nice view, too. As I mentioned before, I would stay here again. I visit Cincy roughly two times a year for work, so I have no doubt I'll be back.

I've stayed here twice now and the 2nd time, I got a corner room and it was HUGE. It had a comfy bed and a large lounge chair and plenty of floor space. I was very comfortable throughout my stay. The restaraunt in the hotel serves very good breakfast too. I have tried almost all of their options and they were all yummy. I like their tater tots and sandwiches and breakfast plates. I come here for a few days every year and I am glad this is the hotel I stay at.

Our room was a balcony suite and it was adorably decorated, spacious and came with a wicked view. Even though the bar was closed, we came prepared with our own booze. After settling in we were ready to get some ice and wind down with some cocktails but we couldn't find an ice bucket anywhere. I called down to the front desk but it just rang and rang until I gave up and hung up the phone. I was going to walk down to the front desk when I ran into one of the housekeepers who informed the ice buckets were placed inside the clothes dresser. Super obvious, right? The balcony suite made up for the couple disappointments we had and it was a great room to come back to after the concert we attended.

I also really enjoyed the hotel bar; they had a great drink menu and a good vibe for unwinding after a long day. One of the highlights was the front desk staff. The woman who checked me in was especially helpful and pointed me toward a fantastic coffee shop just a couple of blocks away, which ended up being a great find. All in all, a great stay. Last they offer free continental breakfast with make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal etc. this was a great visit.

In my room, the people above had a lot of noises coming through. But, I could still sleep. I had a nice room. It was long, good kitchen, and easy access right off the highway. I booked on my phone through the hotel's site. I reserved a king, when I got there, I was told there was no kings. I would still recommend the place. It was clean, the staff was super helpful. I had to leave before breakfast was served and they gave me some grab and go things with coffee. I would go back.
