I am not a monster baseball fan but coming to this stadium is always good for some baseball entertainment and especially good coming with a group. It's not a far drive from my home and I like the fact that there is no charge to park your car. We came here with friends and had a tailgate pizza party. Once done, it's a very quick walk to the stadium. This is clearly a fun time. Just sitting back and watching some baseball. There is no bad seat in the house and they are plenty spacious. Once your in the stadium there is not much walking as there aren't any upstairs levels. So... I go for some popcorn and a drink.... Woah... $9.00 for a bag of popcorn and $10 for the beer. Prices were pretty much like a Citifield and that surprised me. I just expected a little lower price. But remember... no parking fee and inexpensive stadium tickets. Revenue must come from somewhere. They have plenty of friendly helpful people here. It's a good experience. Overall, it was a fun evening and the fireworks show at the end made for a perfect day. Fun afternoon out watching the Long Island Ducks! It was nice to go to a game and actually be able to talk to the people I went with! We had kids with us and they loved the bouncy house and the Quackerjack! The craft beer on draft was tasty as was the creamy ice cream! My only complaint- $5 for a bottle of water? Here's the Scoop: My husband and I took my grandson to the Ducks game with firework spectacular sponsored by NY Community Bank. The Ducks started off with a lead in the first 3 innings 3:1 against the SomerSet Patriots. By the 5th inning the Patriots tied. It was a great game even though we lost 6:4. One of the players game my grandson a out of bounds ball, it made our night. The fireworks were truly spectacular at the end of the 9 inning game. It's really awesome having a stadium in my community. We try to get to several games during the Summer. It's so much fun and the Ducks mascot is engaging and so much fun. Full disclosure: I HATE baseball. No, really, it's true! There's so much time in between the action, so many innings, no real halftime. I'm bored bored bored. No wonder people are always drunk at baseball games -- there isn't much else going on? Okay, so now that my less than stellar sentiment is on the table - this place is OK if you cant stand the game and pretty darn snazzy if you do like it. I get dragged here at least twice a year and while I'm not ecstatic about it, I can deal. Why? Seats are laughably cheap! It's never crowded either so parking is a breeze. The staff, announcer and the mascot engage with the crowd, especially allll the little ankle biters. There's many games on and off the field with prizes and raffles. They give away tickers, sponser gift cards (PC Richards - Stop and shop are some of many..). If you're cranky and need a drink they have a few local brew including Montauk cans @ $8.50 a pop and typical ball game food. There aren't many food options that won't clog your arteries but hey -- that's an American pastime too, right? Yeah, the ducks stadium makes baseball slightly more tolerable for this stick in the mud. read more

Rain out ... First time at a ballgame and it's not so bad. I have to admit it's a great place to take the kids. Bounce house and slides for kids. Wrist bands are only $5.00 bucks and they get to play all night ( if it doesn't get rained out) Not a bad deal. They have virtual-reality and robotics. We went to a Long Island Ducks baseball game last night. Nice stadium, and parking was decent and best of all free. There was a 2 hr game delay due to rain but finally the game started. Certainly not like being at a professional game but for the price and a night out, not too bad. I guess I'm a novice but if you want some thing to eat, be sure to bring a basket of cash. Beer - $10 a cup. Small cotton candy - $5.00. By the time we left, somehow I spent $50, and not sure what I got for it. After the game started it continued to rain on and off and finally the game was halted but a bonus.... Big fireworks display by Grucci Fireworks. Even with rain it was excellent. Game restarted about 9:30 but I had enough so we left. Could be a good experience without the rain, so we may try it again, but first I'll have to stop at a bank for a loan. read more

The entire stadium is very kid-oriented and would be great for families and friends looking for a nice day out with their little ones. They have a bunch of activities for kids outside of the baseball game - that's just the centerpiece. I remember going when I was in summer camp and having fun. The tickets are inexpensive - even for the good seats in advance. Be careful where you sit and bring a glove! The foul balls end up in the audience A LOT because it is such a small stadium. Over the summer they have firework nights on Saturdays (which is when I went most recently) and they did a nice job with them. Something to look forward to after a slow-paced ball game. The food options and quality are exactly what you would expect (stadium food like hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, etc.) and overpriced (a few dollars cheaper than food at the major league stadiums...) which is also expected for a baseball game. I would have given it 3 stars, but I was disappointed with my concession experience. The menu at the two QuackerJack Grills lists Fried Oreos, so I was looking forward to getting them all night. During the 4th inning we waited on line for about 15 minutes or so and when we got to the front they said to come back during the 5th inning because that is when they make them. We went back during the start of the 6th inning assuming they would be making them - waited on line again, and was told they were all out. We walked to the other grill along the 1st base line, and learned that sometimes only one makes them, but both menus list them. They should clearly label which foods are available where and when to avoid disappointment. Now you know the secret if you want Fried Oreos - 5th inning only! read more

Ballpark of the L.I.Ducks. I had never been to a Ducks game (shamefully) and the girl and her family were going and bought me a ticket- so we all piled into the park and caught the game. What a great little stadium! I haven't been to a AAA game in a long time and forgot that there is not a bad seat in the house at these stadiums. This place does a hands-down excellent job of engaging the kids and making it a fun family place. There are plenty of activities on and off the field for the little ones and it is a fun night out, even if you are a big kid. Plenty of beer and food options to keep it interesting for the adults and as mentioned, not a bad seat anywhere. Clean restrooms and cheap seat prices - definitely a fun and affordable night out for the family. Get on out there and make sure you buy a "quacker" to join in the fun! What a fun place for kids! With the price of sporting events escalating year after year, this is the perfect option to take some young one's to their first few ballgames. They could care less who's playing or what the outcome is, so why would you want to spend over $40 a seat when they'll probably ask to leave by the 6th inning anyway? They keep this place nice, and always seem to have plenty of entertainment lined up geared toward kids. If you're "lucky", maybe you'll even get the chance to see a few ex-pro's take the field, just looking to make a few dollars on the side. (Armando Benitez if anyone recalls the name). So happy I had an opportunity to check out the Bethpage Ballpark (LI Ducks stadium). Very easy to navigate, free parking (!), clean and well taken care of, and tickets are inexpensive! Any seat offers a good view, we were behind the dugout and I was concerned the view may be blocked but it wasn't at all. The mascot and staff kept things interesting with games between innings and it seems they really try to get kids involved and having a good time. The food was as expected for a ballpark, we ate chicken fingers and Nathan's hotdogs (together cost about $15), the drinks were reasonable (beer $7or 8). Everyone was obsessing over the fried Oreos (which looked like zeppoles). Overall, a great experience for a group event. Definitely plan to come back for another game. read more

Long Island Ducks baseball is close to home. A huge advantage for anyone who experienced the sleep pattern havoc of arriving home past midnight on a weeknight from Yankee Stadium. Beautiful stadium, all seats are close to field. Tickets are inexpensive relative to MLB. In between innings, they have fun and games for fans on the field just like minor league stadiums. Why 4 stars..... Concessions have this thing for called catch. Scan the QR code and you can order and pay, then skip the line. Only problem lies when you go on site, it states all concessions are closed. So I am playing with site, ordering food even though concessions are closed and get told by site can't order because concessions are closed. After standing on line ordering in person, and eating my meal, my phone sends me a message that my order is ready for pick up. But I thought concessions were closed and I couldn't order. Now I am being told they received my order and they can't credit my account, now I get billed again, totally bs if you ask me, be forwarned and stay away from catch system, just wait in line in person read more

This is a review of the ballpark itself, home of the Long Island Ducks minor league baseball team. Very nice environment to enjoy baseball. Public spaces were relatively clean. Some areas such as entrance walkways has tons of goose crap, very dirty. Couldn't they power wash this before the game?? Inside the gates they offer a wide selection of foods, and have a gift shop to buy Ducks memorabilia. The ballpark has a picnic area to eat, and bounce houses and slides for kids. The main scoreboard is not that large and a secondary LED scoreboard is even smaller. I wish they gave score updates on the Yankees / Mets, such as scores, or daily matchups, etc. Didn't see ANY references to MLB. Maybe the Atlantic League rules don't permit it? Who Knows. The main scoreboard simply ran advertisements or Team Player at Bat's name and statistical data, like batting average or wins/losses, etc. Some of the foods we sampled included: Jumbo Hot Dog, Churros, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Vanilla Soft-Serve Ice Cream in a Waffle Cone and French Fries. Everything listed was tasty with exception of the French Fries. They were cold and had to be returned / exchanged. Most of the staff were nice, however the first usher we approached for help locating our seat put us in the wrong section! Worst part was I tipped him a dollar! After I finally located him, I yelled at him that we were placed in the wrong section and he should have read my ticket more carefully. He was one section off btw. A stunning ballpark. Sometimes you need to take a break from Yankee Stadium (and that other major league stadium in the NY area) and take in a minor league game. Lucky for us, we had suite tickets for the evening and decided to check it out. First off, there are solar panels covering each and every parking spot. These provide electric to the park. It's a short walk from the lot to the park. Getting in is quick, seeing as it only fits 6,000 people. The main level is very nice and cute. The first thing I said was, "THIS IS SO CUTE!". There are plenty of food options, including Smokin' Al's bbq, Carvel, Pizza Hut, and your typical hotdogs and hamburgers. I decided to check out this ladies room since we hadn't made our way to the suite level yet. The bathrooms are straight up nasty (and half of the reason I removed a star). Every toilet was gross but they do have "group sinks" which speeds the process along. The suite level is gorgeous. There is a main restaurant area where you can have a sit-down type of meal. There are also the individual suites, where we were seated. Our suite was decked out with baseball caps (it was cap night) as well as beer, water, iced tea, soda, hotdogs, burgers, chicken fingers, veggie/ranch plate, nachos/salsa plate, popcorn, and buns. Plates, utensils, condiments were all provided. It's freezing cold in the suites, which was a nice relief from the 100 degree weather outside. After grabbing some food, we picked our seats outside. This provided a great view of the park. There is also a bouncy house for the kids and Quacker Jack (the mascot) runs around and plays games between innings. There is not a bad seat in the house and more smaller ballparks should be appreciated for such. The game was exciting and fun. There is something for everyone. The other half a reason why I removed a star was because after we ran out of water (due to the heat), we asked our waitress for more and she said we would need to open a tab to do so. We ended up passing on this but still. If a company is already paying however much for a suite, the least you could do is provide something as simple as water. Regardless, this is a wonderful ballpark. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the crowd is great, and you get to watch up and coming players. I'll definitely come back. read more

Went to Bethpage ballpark today for a work function and the attendant at the ticket window told me to go in a specific gate which we did and mind you it was a hundred and ten degrees today and one of the security guards check this out from underneath the shade with my toddler son and my wife I will never support them again and neither will any of my family members because we obviously mean nothing to them if they are willing to let us stand out and get heat stroke and be total jerks about it read more

I caught a Ducks game here on a Wednesday night. Everything seemed to be nicely organized and clean. The parking lot was just a short walk across the street and concession stands were very reasonably priced (compared to other professional stadiums). Quacker Jack (the mascot) was out and about mingling with the fans. Kids loved it. They also had bouncy castles for the kids so it was great time all around. It's too bad that roughly 75% of the seats were empty though. I feel bad because this is a great place to spend some time with family and I wish more people would enjoy it. But then again, it was kind of nice not to have to wait on long lines for food or the bathroom :). read more

My party of 15 went to opening day for the li ducks. A huge crowd of people waited in line at the concession stands for food and drink. I personally was ready to buy some sausage sandwiches and so we're the majority of the people on line. There were other places for other fares, but we wanted the sausage sandwich. We waited patiently for about 15 minutes and once it was our turn, the cashier said, sorry the sausages aren't ready and it'll be 15 more minutes, and when that's ready, we have about 20 people who were waiting for them, so no guarantee we would getbthat batch and may need another 15 minutes. Now why wouldn't someone give the people on line that information so they wouldn't be wasting time, when they could be on another line getting alternate food? No management, no leadership, just a bunch of kids working. Lots of people complaining, but in the end a lot of people had their blood boiling before the first pitch. Not a good way to conduct opening day. read more

** THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE DUCK CLUB RESTAURANT ONLY ** We attend around 3 Ducks games per year for quite a few years. For the first time we decided to try the Duck Club restaurant for a pre-game meal. What a HORRIBLE decision. Upon arrival I was definitely impressed with visually how nice the restaurant was and it had a great atmosphere. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was less than a 1/4 filled. It was 5:20pm for a 6:35pm first pitch time. After a few minutes our waiter came over and introduced himself. Seemed pleasant enough. We placed our order: chicken wings, a french dip and a kids hot dog. Our drinks came over without an issue and we then waited for our food. And waited...and waited...we noticed party's who came in and sat after us were receiving their meals. After 30 minutes (yes 30) my wife went asked our waiter where our food was. We had to go find him as he never came by to say anything to us, such as apologize for the wait. He said he'd check. A few minutes later he came back, apologized and said our food would be right out. So we waited...10 more minutes. Now I'm thinking we are going to miss the beginning of the game. FINALLY our food is brought out. It was terrible! The chicken wings which were requested to be well done were soggy with little taste. My biggest complaint my french dip sandwich was literally a bun with approximately 2 pieces of mean and a slice or two of cheese!!! ALL THAT FOR $16.00!!!!!!!!!!! I was pissed. We wanted to get our check while we were eating so we could just run out when we were done to see the game. We tried to find our waiter. Nope. Finally my wife went over to the manager and asked if we could get our bill I thought she'd go over to the computer and print it out. No she went to find our server and when she did and gestured to our table he just laughed. Finally we paid the bill and left. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE dining experience. You're better off with a hot dog, peanuts and cracker jacks from the concession stand. AVOID IT. read more

I am giving one star for the club not the park. To begin with the elevator to the club is FILTHY, I am talking not papers or junk I am talking the corners and the floor, that should have been a sign about the food in the club. French fries cold, chicken wings flavorless and tough, our waitress said the chicken franshesie is delicious, the taste was not horrible but the sauce was a paste not edible. The coleslaw was very good and our waitress was very nice. We were my husband and I and our small grandkids and the bill was $83.00 because they only have the buffet. Never again for sure. read more

Saw the Long Island Ducks play last night. What a blast I had! They won 4-3. The stadium was nice and clean as were the bathrooms. The food was your typical arena fare and quite good. Cool minor league ballpark to catch a game. We went to a game over the 4th of July weekend. There was a nice fireworks display. Typical food and prices for a sports venue. Parking lot was a pain to get out of after the game, but it was a pretty full game so I guess that is to be expected. Cruel: Not allowing my son and I to bring in a water bottle with us when the temperature was 90 degrees is simply greedy and foolish. Greedy because they want to sell me a similar-sized bottle for $4.25 and foolish because I will never go back there again. I understand that they want to make money, but I DID spend lots of money there (over fifty dollars on food for us and my son's grandfathers). I have no problem with the $6.50 hot dog or the $8.50 beer. Those things are par for the course at ballparks. However, even Citi Field lets each person bring in a bottle of water. Apparently Duck's stadium is too grand to follow the same sort of protocol and instead the security guards told us we can either chug the water bottles or throw them away. The funny thing is the security guards did not search us for weapons (as they do at Citi Field). Instead, the only thing they cared about is that my 12-year-old son and I had two bottles of water on a very hot day. So the only thing they were "securing" was their bet that we would succumb to thirst and pay them $4.25 for a something that costs 11 cents at Costco. It totally ruined the experience for me and cost them a customer for life. read more
