I fell due to a broken curb while jogging on the sidewalk at Fairfield hills east. The area was poorly illuminated. I was concussed and now I am seeing a neurologist regularly in an attempt to have the headaces stop from ruining my daily quality of life. When I went to take images of the fall site, along with the numerous hazards throughout the complex. I was approached by the rental lady telling me I will stop taking pictures. It is our constitutional right to record any incident. What transpired afterwards were criminal acts. Maintenance showed up to the rental woman's defense. I was threatened with bodily harm by the resident manager. I was struck by the rental lady and their plumber. Spat on by their plumber and sprayed with an unknown substance. I was told I scratched one of them, they later refused to make that statement when the police arrived. This is same person that attempted to run me over with his personal vehicle while I was standing in a parking spot. They used foul language; they insulted my mother and continued this behavior after the police told them I have a right to film. The police officer also instructed them to leave me alone. They continued after the officer left. We have the right to take civil action upon an entity that hires criminals. Fairfield group is responsible for their employees criminal behavior. Do not give in, we can all beat them in civil court. They attempt to thwart us with legal jargon. I am tenacious and relentless. I will never give up. I have all acts of criminal behavior on film plus hundreds of instances of neglect of maintenances' duties. No lawyer can dispute what is directly in front of their eyes. I will only parlay with an owner about my complaints, speaking to the management company is the equivalent of speaking to bark on a tree. I moved to Fairfield Sunrise Gardens in Bohemia and within 90 days of living here, my motorcycle that was covered under light and next to the maintenance truck was stolen. I am still in shock, but what is more shocking is that this complex does not have any security cameras. You would think that such a large company would be successful for being smart, but I guess not. They told me they do not have any security cameras in any of their complexes. What is also completely crazy is that they hire a security company at night as a "courtesy," as told to me by a representative that called me when I requested a call. They tried to give me a bogus security plan that sounded as if it would impress me. If they really did follow this plan then my bike, another bike in this complex and a third one down the road wouldn't have been stolen within a month. They also tried to show sympathy by talking about how mad they were when one of their bicycles was stolen...If that is a comparison then I really don't know what else I need to say. It's not difficult to have a security system put in, nor is it expensive. Having cameras would have taken them completely out of the equation. There are plenty of families in this complex too. If I had a family here I would not feel safe for them to even go and get something out of the car without me. Nice complex, bad customer service and security. read more

Management is atrocious. Starting with their entitled "office manager" Kristen Corcoran. For any business to grant someone like her any kind of authoritative role, speaks volume on behalf of that company. She's a horrible asset that has absolutely zero people skills. But then again, her no college skillset couldn't get her much more than a $50k a year office desk job. ANYONE LOOKING INTO HARTS COVE, BUYER BEWARE, management is a total nightmare to deal with. The property manager Nicholas Boscia is literally never at work, and the most incompetent "manager" we've ever dealt with (Kristen being second). I've had a maintenance call for almost a week, calling his office every day, leaving voicemails and they just continue to say "oh nick isn't working today" (must be nice that an entire complex runs based off one guys schedule )... FAIRFIELD PROPERTIES, if you are reading this, your employee Kristen WILL COST YOU A LAWSUIT ONE DAY. Thank god someone with her mindset is not a cop, because she's 100% the type to abuse ANY sort of power she can. This place is horrible they do not return your deposit & are trying to charge me for 2 extra months after I moved out, and are taking me to court!!!! these people are scammers and are trying to scam everyone out of money. My 4 year old son was hurt, the refrigerator freezer door fell on top of him crushing his legs & they didn't care and didn't replace the refrigerator. Also in my sons room there air conditioner had a jagged metal edge that was DANGEROUS! On top of everything else I have to hire and pay a lawyer to prove that I moved out on time. They are claiming I stayed 2 extra months. Please make sure to take pictures (with the date) of your apartment before you move out because Fairfield Properties will try to scam you!!!!!!! After complaining about safety conditions and submitted an accommodation request, I was met with a Do Not Renew notice and my email address was blacklisted from contacting anyone. Including housing matters. They've completely cut me off from communication in retaliation. I'm a paying tenant who was just trying to get help. This is a terrible experience I wish on no one. These people are the biggest rip-off artists. I submitted an application for apartment rental over a month ago. You have to pay $60 for the application plus a $200 "good faith deposit" We decided to not take the rental, but never received our deposit back as promised! I've called the leasing office several times and never received a call back. Then even called the corporate office and have gotten the run around. Seems like I'm out 200 bucks. Such thieves! The apartments look nice cosmetically, however are very poorly constructed. You could hear your neighbors as if they were next to you. The floors squeak so bad that our downstairs neighbors asked us not to walk around! The super only responds if you call the emergency hotline, and shows up with an attitude.
