I like Circle K. There's many deals if one is in their "Inner Circle" aka their loyalty program…read more It's more than a gas station but my preferred option to stop for snacks and light beverage. This store is the exception. It's usually dirty, disorganized with out of order equipment. There's one jerk of a cashier that actually denied me the opportunity to use their facilities. I'm on medication that requires me to eliminate urine often. Even though I'm a daily customer and hadn't needed to use their restroom before. This clerk absolutely refused to unlock the ladie's room for me for no reason! II finally called management to inform them how rude and unprofessional she is. They were well aware of her sho and promised to take action. Imagine my shock when I saw today she has been promoted and is now a manager! In addition, there still were broken equipment, no cream in the server for the coffee and a shortage of soda cups. The next nearest store is only 3.5 miles down I/20 but it's entirely better kept than this store. It's a world away from the Midfield store. Nawl, I'm going to stop being loyal to the brand and start stopping at the other companies I pass in my travels.

They have been out of cold cream for several days now. The little cups of flavored imitation cream was extremely low. They should do a deep cleaning before refilling it. It shows they aren't disinfecting everything like they should in this Covid-19 era. I asked the cashier "what's the deal with the cup situation?" Her slick reply was: " We are out of them". "Yeah Sherlock! I saw the signs you have over there! When do you expect to rectify the shortage?" First she said Wednesday, then said later today if he goes to another store? Let me get this straight?! The manager could have simply went to another corporate store to get cups instead of making 100 signs to put up?! Will he get some cream and Lysol too? Why do people half do stuff in the hood, they would never try in the suburbs? That is the only 24 store in the area so they are busy 24/7. There is no excuse for this. But I didn't want to have words with the powder blue weaved, slick mouth cashier, that's why I didn't go to McDonald's, so I just made a mental note to take my business elsewhere.

So this Chevron is located at the end of University Blvd right by Highway 65. During the day I…read morewould say that they are probably fine and I wouldn't worry about anything. That being said as it gets later, this location seems to have a fair number of people hanging out in the parking lot area. Not exceptionally well lit either. I haven't had any problems here but it does give you a little bit of an uneasy feeling. The location is great especially if you are looking for a quick easy place for a fill up. Very conveniently located to hop on the highway or grab gas before going into Birmingham. Prices are reasonable and on par with everyone else in the area. Works in a pinch, but I would opt for other locations typically, unless my gas light was on or in danger of coming on soon.

I feel a duty to let the women of Birmingham, AL know that this location is just creepy. The…read moreparking lot isn't very well lit, they let homeless people and vagrants hang out on the premises, and the employees never really seem to care about much of anything. Both the parking lot and store are always dirty and I've had the cashier literally drop my wine or beer several times while scanning my purchases. The cashier rarely ever makes eye contact with you and an actual salutation is rare, the conversation is non-existent. As a matter of fact, the only reason I even come to this location anymore is because they're open 24 hours and it's not even half a mile from my home.
