On special occasions the last thing you want to do is be late and frankly, lied too. I'd rather be told "hey listen we are really busy tonight, it's gonna be a half hour." Instead of "Taxi? Yeah, 5 minutes" every time I call! This must be a business model to take everyone that calls. I have no idea what's going on over there because I have only had one show up once, even after repeated calls. Very frustrating to be left high and dry. Do yourself a favor and download uber, lift, or call riverfront taxi. I'm not sure how much longer these guys are going to be around.

The person who picked up was extremely unprofessional; they don't ask for your number.. only your first name for their records. They also gave me attitude when I asked to make sure they knew where specifically to pick me up, stating defiantly that they knew where it was because they had the address, even though it was an apartment complex with several apartments. Overall, it was a reflection of a very poor, unprofessional, and unfriendly service.. I didn't want to go to bed at night worried that they'd be late provided other reviews and my own experience, especially when being on time is so crucial, so I ended up cancelling my reservation and looking elsewhere.

When it was time for pickup, Uber was unable to connect me with a driver. After waiting and realizing the scheduled ride was not going to happen, I had to cancel and scramble for another option. I ended up paying a substantially higher last-minute fare for Lyft Priority pickup just to have a chance of getting to the airport in time. If Lyft had not come through, I would have missed my flight. Even with the Priority pickup, I barely made it. Uber did not charge me for the cancelled ride, but that does not excuse the failure of a ride I scheduled days in advance. What makes this worse is that Uber has shown no concern for the disruption or the extra expense I incurred and has not offered to reimburse the difference. The whole point of scheduling an airport ride ahead of time is reliability; Uber failed completely when it mattered most. Completely unacceptable. Uber let me down, Lyft saved the day, and I will think twice before relying on Uber for an important trip again.
