Furthermore, they refused to discuss the necessary insurance orders that were required to gain resources and supplies we needed to be successful at home. We were discharged suddenly without much notice; it was all very passive and vague. Consider being called at 10am to be told your loved one would be home by 330pm that same day and no hospital bed or equipment was delivered. Resulting from added stress and increased financial charges; that 4 months later we are still incurring. They refused to discuss orders needed to process insurance under the excuse of "we are new and do not know much about the system". The staff seems nice and professional but have strong tones of arrogance and body shaming. The overall director is the shinning silver lining in this facility. Do not expect an improvement or help while attending this facility.

From Darla, Kevin and Troy in administration, Gaylan and Julie leading their team of wonderful therapists, to the one and only Miss Eileen at the front desk who listens and cares as sleepless parents sign in their child who seems to only need 2 hours of sleep at night some nights... All of the staff there are knowledgeable and genuinely care about everyone that passes through their doorway. We have been clients since they first opened their business. When I called them out on this being unprofessional for an occupational therapist to promote, the company blocked me Update: see screenshots for how she responded on Facebook. Not very professional at all. The "mind your own business" is odd given the review was about her hitting kids. Child safety is everyone's business. I can't believe it's even ethical for an occupational therapist to recommend hitting children. We have decades of research showing the harm of hitting kids. We know that the brain responds the same to "spanking" as they do physical and sexual abuse. There is a reason this OT blocked me instead of engaging in a conversation...because she knows she has zero ethical ways to explain why she's okay with hitting kids and sharing it on her professional page. There website even says that they provide services "while being ethically appropriate and through the most current evidence based continuing education." Yet, there is zero evidence to support hitting children and plenty showing us the harm.
