He's conservative in approach and passionate and of course extremely knowledgeable and confident about what he does. And only finding myself in the line for x ray which wasn't moving. I left. On my way out, I made an appointment to come back today. I waited in the lobby over thirty minutes before being called back to x ray where I waited another ten or fifteen minutes. I was then taken into a room where a nurse practitioner came in. And she clearly had no idea why I was there exactly. She was focused on my spinal x. Ray, which has nothing to do with where my pain is or what is causing it. She pushed and pulled on my legs and feet, but never offered to touch or examine the area of the problem. It became more and more clear. She just wasn't listening to me at all. After twenty five more minutes, doctor hicks finally came in. And at least he checked the immediate area where the pain is but still stuck to the spinal issue and wanted me to get an mri. We even went over my CT. Photos together and then he talked about giving me a shot in my spine after the mri. I'm not a medical person, but I know enough. That my spine is not causing the soft tissue problem. I'm having nowhere near. I told him I didn't see any reason for the. M r I and he ordered his assistant to schedule it. Anyway, so she walked me out. Explaining the process to me, and I just nodded and left. I won't be letting them bill. My insurance for any more waste of time, including the. M r I or any follow ups. This was horrible service and treatment two weeks in a row.

I can't say enough about this branch of Encore Rehab and the great people that work so hard to…read moreprovide exceptional physical therapy for their patients. My favorite is Kari. She is wonderful, and always a joy to see and work with toward my individual goals for recovery or pain relief. I first met her when a doctor recommended PT to address lower back pains that had developed as a result of an on-going illness I live with. At the time she was at the Providence Hospital office, and from the first day evaluation, through six weeks of the personalized therapy program she developed for me, I found that her vibrant, happy character was as least as beneficial for my recovery as the exercises she put me through each session. Later, when I developed yet another issue that my doctor prescribed PT to address, and I learned that she had been assigned to the Snow Rd office, I insisted that my prescription be sent to that office, with directions for her personally to receive the assignment. And she didn't disappoint me that time either. In all, over at least a two year period, I have had to seek PT assistance for help in dealing with issues that have developed because of my illness, no less than four times. Kari has never let me down, and I actually look forward to my sessions with her, even when she is tough on me, pressing me to do more. Another therapist at this office is Jack. I have had to work with him a few times when Kari was just too busy to provide the attention I required. He too provides exceptional service. He makes everyone feel like a friend, and he is always in a cheerful and friendly mood. There are several other PTs at this office, and each appear to be friendly, helpful and kind. At least two of them are Occupational Therapists, assisting patients with rehab required because of work related injuries. Last but not least is Rachel, the front desk clerk, always greeting patients by name and with a smile. She never fails to hold the big entry doors open for me after I have finished my sessions, and I am leaving to head home. She is another kind, and sweet soul, but this business has been blessed with many sweet souls as employees. So, at the risk of making them all more well known, and thus building their business to such a degree that I find it difficult in the future to get an appointment there, I highly recommend this office of Encore Rehab.
